Ashley & Alexandria's Bridal Atelier

I loved Ashley & Alexandria's. I went shopping by myself, certainly not expecting to find my dress. What an amazing experience. Vinnie brought out a selection of dresses and I discovered my style. She took everything I said and came out with a dress I will love forever. The experience wasn't just private, I was the only bride in the atelier. ( when they say private they don'y mean one on one it's private just you in the store). My dress is beautiful I can't show you yet. My alterations were done in the store. From start to finish I can't tell you how wonderful and unexpected the experience was. You should really do your homework and check out this atelier. It was everything!! Oh they let me come back bring my mom and that was awesome. Thank you Vinnie & Elvin for making this more than buying a dress.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with finding my wedding dress. When I reached out and told Vinnie (the owner) what I was looking for, she FACETIMED ME personally and showed me the dresses she had in that fit what I was looking for to help me decide if I wanted to come in. She was always mindful of my budget, and kept me fully informed throughout the process. It’s clear Vinnie’s life’s work is helping brides find the right dress for them. She treats her customers with kindness and warmth, as she would her own daughters (fun fact: this place is actually named after her daughters!) I went to other bridal salons before coming to this place, and felt like the staff at other salons were kind of rude, cold, or inattentive, but here at Ashley and Alexandria’s, the experience was warm, personal, polite, respectful, and judgment free. I cannot recommend this bridal salon enough.

I am absolutely grateful to my sister for recommending this boutique! They were very professional, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to get me what I wanted! They listened and paid extra attention to the details I wanted! I gave them a vision and the dress I said yes too was PERFECT!!!! I really loved the one-on-one appointment time!!! It was so nice not having to worry about being interrupted and having their undivided attention on me!!! It was a memorable time and one that I'll never forget!!!! Thank you ❤️

From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like family! VINNIE knew exactly what my Daughter was looking for after their first conversation, and was able to order her dress and have it delivered right on time. . My Daughter looked and felt so beautiful in her gown! They really care that you have exactly the right dress and veil that you were dreaming of. The wedding was magical! I had the best time finding my dress at Ashley & Alexandria’s . It was just my mom and I and the private appointment was so unexpected. Hands down this was the best bridal boutique I visited. Bridal Salon was very welcoming and comforting. I felt a sense of relaxation when I walked in. Mainly because when I met the owners, Vinnie and Elvin I felt like I had known them all of my life. Vinnie listened to exactly what I wanted in a wedding gown and gave me many options to choose from. The gowns were so beautiful, it was hard to choose, THE ONE. The best experience for me had to be the personalized attention that I received. At Ashley and Alexandria's the appointments are all private. Yes, private. You are the only bride there and you have everyone's full attention. It doesn't get any better than that. This review was easy. If you go to Ashley and Alexandria's, you will have an amazing experience.

I was not prepared for the value of a personal appointment when it came to selecting my wedding gown. I felt like royalty. It was as if she closed down the entire shop just for me. We talked about my vision of how I wanted to look and how i wanted to feel on my wedding day. She "understood the assignment" and brought out the most stunning dresses. As soon as I put them on, I felt the quality of the fabrics, and ended up not only buying my show stopping wedding dress from her, but a second dress that had me dancing into the wee hours of the morning. I went to so many different places to look for my wedding dress and this is by far THE BEST PLACE out there. I got there only 2 months before my wedding and they were able to create my dream dress in time for my big day! The owners - Vinnie and Elvin are absolutely adorable and they go above and beyond to make you the happiest and most beautiful bride. You don't feel rushed or obligated to make a purchase. They're very patient and let you try on as many dresses as you wish. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. They are both super sweet and nice! The owners are very attentive and listen to what you're saying. They accurately find what you're looking for. They helped me design my dream wedding dress. The alterations did an amazing job not only on my dress but also on my custom detachable skirt. The owners took their time to meet me at a fabric store and helped me choose the right color and right amount of fabric for the seamstress Olga. My dress needed a lot of work being taken it ( I bought a floor sample to save some money) and Olga pulled off a miracle!! She also designed and created the most beautiful tulle skirt with a long train. She made the skirt detachable too! I got soooooo many compliments and guests said they've never seen a more beautiful dress. Outstanding job! I'm so appreciative of this boutique and everyone's willingness and ability to do their magic. I would recommend this boutique to anyone who wants EXCELLENT customer service and a private bridal experience.

Vinnie & Elvin are literally family. I was sent to them from The Bridal Shoppe when I needed my first (emergency) dress altered. They greeted me with loving open arms . After deciding to have a wedding in October with only three months to plan I was against the clock to find a dress. I did not love my first dress ( from the other boutique nothing wrong w/ it just not the dream dress) but I bought it as a back up just in case I didn't find anything. Once I arrived Vinnie was super patient and let me try on a myriad of dresses and after a couple of visits I found the DRESS. Vinnie and Elvin are the best. If you want a boutique private bridal experience w/ a loving touch definitely see my friends at Ashley & Alexandria.

Vinnie and Elvin were great to work with. I had a very pleasant experience from the time we first communicated until I picked up my dress for the ceremony. Ashley and Alexandria's was the only place I stepped foot in, and I got exactly what I wanted on my first visit. They worked with my budget, and had a seamstress available who did an amazing job maintaining the look and style of the dress while ensuring a flattering fit. Amazing service, Vinnie & Elvin really make you feel comfortable and take everything you say into consideration when helping you find your dream dress. Vinnie and her assistant were awesome!!! I walked in feeling so nervous and uncomfortable, but Vinnie quickly helped me feel comfortable and welcomed. They had selected several dresses that encompassed thoughts I gave and also some that pushed my comfort zone. The first dress I tried on ended up being the one I said yes to! Vinnie even said that she recommended trying it on last for a “finale” dress! (I think she knew before we even started trying things on). In the changing room, Vinnie made me super comfortable and not at all self-conscious cause of being plus size. Speaking of! They had a large selection of plus size dresses for me to try on! Which was a huge relief! The champagne toast, photos, boomerang, and videos were an awesome perk! I will forever tell brides to go here! And what an awesome way to support black owned businesses than involving them in the special day!

I had a really hard time finding a dress. At some point it became so overwhelming it was no longer fun. The first time I walked into Ashley & Alexandria’s I felt welcomed. I don’t feel rushed nor did I feel obligated. I found a particular dress I thought I may have wanted but I still wasn’t sure. Vinnie gave me the best advice possible. She said go to other places, look around but you won’t find what you’re looking for elsewhere. Boy oh boy! was she right. No other experience felt the way I felt when I went here. Long story short. I went back and purchased the first only dress I absolutely fell in love with! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to share that experience with!

Hands down the best bridal boutique in Metro Detroit. Vinnie and Alvin exceeded my expectations that I had about finding my perfect wedding dress. My best friend found her dress here as well! I went to a couple other shops but couldn't find the style that I wanted. When I walked into Ashley & Alexandria's they make you feel so welcome that you feel like part of their family. You can really tell they love what they do. My dress was delayed coming in due to covid but I never had any doubt that everything would work out. Vinnie went out of her way to make sure all of my alterations were done perfectly, she truly was my fairy godmother. Thank you so much for everything, I am forever grateful that we found you guys!

Best bridal boutique in metro Detroit! I said yes to the dress here as well as had my alterations done here. The owners really do make you feel like you are family and are so attentive to their clients. They truly make you feel so special every time you go here. I would highly recommend setting up an appointment here for your dream gown. 10/10 service and their selection of gowns is gorgeous!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. I was initially very nervous to start dress shopping, Vinnie made us feel like family as soon as we walked in the door and immediately put me at ease. She really took the time to understand my vision for our wedding day and helped me pick a dress that was exactly what I was hoping for. I was a little hesitant because the prices here were slightly higher than some of the big chain bridal shops, but the quality of my gown and the exceptional service were worth every penny! Vinnie was a pleasure to work with, not pushy at all. I found my perfect dress here and was able to pick it up right before COVID shut everything down in March. They took the time to steam my dress at my last fitting, knowing that there might not be another chance for me to pick it up. Other vendors had been less understanding and supportive, so their compassion was even more appreciated.

I can't say enough good things about this shop or the family that owns it! Very rarely do you get the feeling that the people who are working there genuinely want to help you, but this was the case with Vinnie and Elvin! They are so pleasant and make you feel like part of their family, so much so that we ended up inviting them to our wedding! Not only did I get my dress here but we did everything here, tuxedo's for the grooms and groomsmen, wedding dress alterations, and accessories. It was nice to get everything in one place and made it one less thing to think about. Again, I CANNOT reccommend this shop enough. They made my wedding dress planning a breeze. Run don't walk!

I had the most amazing experience! The owner Vinny is a dream to work with and makes your vision come to life! I honestly felt like a member of their family by the time I had my final fitting. I would recommend coming here to anyone looking for an amazing wedding dress. They have a wide selection and it was the best experience I could have asked for!

If I were able to give ten stars I would. I came in to try on two specific dresses and had another appointment elsewhere. I ended up cancelling my other appointment because although the original dresses I came in to try on weren't what I was looking for, we tried on others and I fell in love with one. They were able to quickly recognize a style I liked even though it was completely different than what I originally thought I wanted. They allowed me to come back later that day with my Mom and a couple of friends (this was pre covid) to show them and get their input. After us all loving it, they gave us champagne and kind of let us hang out and chat for a while. It was better than I ever expected this process to be. Every time I went in, they made me feel like family. I ended up being a covid bride and they always kept me up to date on the shipping of my dress and assuring me that my day whenever it was, would be perfect. They tailored my dress to perfection and took ALL covid precautions. I was always the only bride there even before covid, and I loved that.

Hello, the brides-to-be. My first impression of Ashley & Alexandria was favorable and inviting. My experience with the owner Vinnie was jovial. I initially spoke with Vinnie via phone. It was my phone conversation with her that prompt my interest to visit her bridal salon. I was so impressed with her friendly, no-pressure, and upbeat personality. Not only was I impressed with her. I adored her salon. Her salon is well-organized, inviting, and not over-whelmed with bridal gowns. Back story, I had to postpone my initial wedding plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic like most brides-to-be. My fiance and I decided to get married this year with immediate family, and have our wedding reception next year. I planned to purchase an inexpensive wedding gown for the ceremony, and "The Dress" for the reception next year. Vinnie suggested looking for "The Dress" for both events. I thought to myself -- is she serious?! To my surprise, she was. Laugh out loud. Vinnie and I picked out "The Dress" less than 45 minutes. I couldn't believe I found my dress. I was excited. She is good at her job. Lastly, Vinnie and her partner, Alvin, and I toast to finding "The dress"; and which they provided the champagne. Such a lovely touch. I LOOOOOOVE Vinnie & Alvin! They made my wedding experience more than I could ever dream of! My dress was gorgeous, my father's tux was perfect, and my guys were as dapper as could be! Vinne made sure with everything being chaotic and some places not being open to find someone to create a custom suit for my now husband and a jacket got our son! They looked almost as good as me. I could definitely go on and on about our experience and how blessed I am to have been apart of the Ashley & Alexandria's Bridal Boutique! Ashley & Alexandria's Bridal Boutique is the BEST place to purchase your bridal gown in Southeast Michigan!! Vinnie and Elvin are so kind and make you feel so welcome every single time you go into the shop; they are simply a ray of sunshine! The shop is by appointment only, which means you get the entire shop to yourself and have all the time you need to try on dresses, get photos, and enjoy your "yes to the dress" moment! The shop's seamstress, Olga, is equally as sweet. She was able to accommodate my alternations (including a complicated bustle) even with having my first fitting only 2 weeks before my wedding due to COVID-19. AMAZING! I simply cannot say enough great things about this shop! If you want elegance, kindness, and class... look no further!

I absolutely loved Vinne and Elvin! They made me feel like the most important person during my appointment and were so in-sync. My likes and dislikes were listened to intently and beautiful suggestions were made to fit my body type and personal style. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on (after trying on several other beautiful dresses), and was congratulated with a champagne toast. The store is very intimate, which I personally enjoyed. It is way less intimidating than I was expecting, and actually preferred that all the dresses were not out on display. I loved that my family and I were the only appointment in the store, it creates such a wonderful and personal appointment. They are EXPERTS at what they do. Every suggestion that was made was on-point, and they are more than willing to work with any budget/style/alteration that you can throw at them. I will be recommending them to everyone I know in the future that is looking for a dress. I also loved that Elvin was taking pictures the entire time to capture the moment. What a nice touch! You guys are gems!

I am absolutely obsessed with this bridal boutique! Vinnie and Elvin were incredibly kind and helpful through the entire process. It's a very small shop, so you are the only bride in there during your appointment (which is GREAT!) I was treated like the most important bride ever and every appointment was all about me. You never feel rushed or pushed to the side. They are very accommodating to your schedule and time. It would be days I just wanted to go look at my dress and they would always welcome me in with open arms. We would all sit, laugh, talk and just have a great time. My family and I became super close to them and plan to keep it that way! They are family to us now. I started shopping for my dress one year before my wedding and ordered a custom made dress from them that we were told would be 6-9 months to be made by the designer. I actually got pregnant (with our first) four months before my wedding and we had to do sooooo many alterations to my dress. I actually had weekly appointments and some weeks multiple in that week due to my growing bump. Vinnie wanted to make sure it would fit and still looked as good and not rushed. She was so awesome about it all and very happy for me.. which I really appreciated in such a difficult time for me. she made me feel so secure in my dress even with a bump lol They even came and helped me set up my dress on a mannequin at my hotel the night before my wedding. And Vinnie helped me put it on. She visited me in my bridal suite on my wedding to make sure everything was going okay. Vinnie and Elvin attended my wedding and reception and even gave a great gift which they did not have to do, at all. They made me feel valued and special and the dress was perfectly altered and steamed before the big day. Olga was great as well with the alterations. I cannot speak highly enough of this place! I just love them sooooo much! I highly highly recommend to EVERY bride or anyone just looking for a really nice dress! :) I give them 1 million stars!

I can’t say enough great things about Ashley & Alexandria’s Bridal Boutique and the service I received from Vivian and Elvin. The selections were the best in the county having gone to three other shops, I ultimately found an amazing dress perfect for my wedding venue in Maui. I need to add that I needed my dress within three months of making my decision. Without a hitch Vivian made it happen. The gown order was expedited through her connections along with a recommended seamstress who provided perfect alterations. Vivian was with me the entire process providing support, reassurance and exceptional customer service. Save yourself the time, effort and trouble of shopping at multiple venues, Ashley & Alexandria’s has it all!

This little shop is perfect for a bride who wants a classic, timeless dress, and a wonderful experience! I knew I wanted a Paloma Blanca dress (that lace, how can you not?!) and made an appointment at Ashley and Alexandria’s. My family, friends and I were greeted with huge smiles and made to be a part of the family from the moment we walked in. I found my dream dress that day, but that’s only the beginning of how great Vinnie and her husband are. I’m a military bride and don’t live in Michigan, so vinnie ordered my dress and scheduled my fittings not only around my wedding schedule, but also around my Army training in Texas and Georgia. I was able to fly in from Georgia two Saturdays In October to get my fittings done For our November wedding, and Vinnie was there with me every step of the way. I can’t thank them enough for making what could have been an absolute nightmare an easy, stress free experience and giving me a perfect result!

I was not the girl who planned my wedding as a little girl and knew just what I wanted... I had no idea what I wanted my wedding dress to look like when I started this process. I went to multiple dress shops and nothing seemed right. I always felt like another number in line and the dresses seemed like they were made for someone else. Then I went to Ashley and Alexandria and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Vinnie took the time listening to my scattered vision and what I felt comfortable in. She found the dress for me and, being the indecisive bride I am, let me come back again another day just to be sure it was the right one. Vinnie and her husband celebrated with us when we settled on the dress, and everything felt so personal and wonderful. I would then come back multiple times for dress fittings with Olga at the shop, who did an amazing job working with me and Vinnie on dramatically altering the gown to make it absolutely perfect for me (the dress was great to start with, I just wanted a lot of personalization). Olga is truly gifted at what she does and the dress turned out stunning. Throughout this process, Vinnie and everyone else involved with Ashley and Alexandria went above and beyond, completely bending over backwards for me. The worked fittings in around my busy schedule, even when I'm sure it was inconvenient for them (but they didn't in any way show it). I cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to any woman looking your perfect dress! If you get your dress from Ashley and Alexandria, you gain a supportive, friendly, knowledgeable, kind, generous, and helpful team who will make sure you end up with your perfect dress!! ❤

It's a very small shop, so you are the only bride in there during your appointment (which is GREAT!) having just gone to a big chain bridal shop before this, it was like night and day. I was treated like they didn't have time/want to deal with me there, whereas at A&A, they give you all of their attention and care. They treat you like family, celebrate with you, and are genuinely interested in your story. I remember when I was there shopping the first time, Vinnie said "oh no, it's raining! One of our brides gets married today, I hope it all works out okay for her!" and I was touched by the fact that they care about their customers even after the sale is made. This place is a true gem. I had my dress altered here too, by Olga, and I honestly don't know how she does it. My dress had intricate lace at the bottom, and I can't tell how she managed to hem it and keep it perfectly intact at the same time. I told Vinnie on the phone the designer/style I was looking for, and she quickly helped me find my dream dress. They took photos for me with my family and friends and emailed them to me later, which I was very grateful for. They made me feel valued and special and the dress was perfectly altered and steamed before the big day. I cannot speak highly enough of this place! I'm definitely going to go back to them to have my dress cleaned and preserved, too. :)

We loved working with Vinnie and Elvin at Ashley & Alexandria's! They were so nice and helpful during the dress shopping process. I had quite a bit of production and sizing issues (designer error) and they helped us right through it! Their shop is so cute and was the perfect place to pick a dress -- which was beautiful and perfect and made me feel like the most beautiful person in the room all day long! Thank you for everything!

I went to a few salons and they were okay, when I walked in to Ashely & Alexandria's it felt comfortable. The salon is small and makes your experience personal. You don't feel rushed to pick a dress or to keep trying more on. The owners Vinnie and Elvin make you feel like family, it takes all the stress out of finding a dress, we all laughed and had a blast when shopping!!!

Outstanding service! After trying on gowns at various Birmingham and West Bloomfield bridal boutiques, Ashely & Alexandria's was the diamond in the rough. The other boutiques were more focused on getting a quick sale as opposed to making my experience pleasant and meaningful. Enter Vinnie. I was greeted warmly when I entered her adorable boutique, and as I walked into the fitting room, I was blown away to see gowns upon gowns waiting for me. I had emailed her in advance due to my interest in Enzoani gowns and she was quick to respond and boy did she deliver. I wasn't rushed, she wasn't disinterested, but listened to what I had to say as well as my family's input, and was genuine and accommodating throughout my entire appointment, never once pushing me into a sale or pressuring me. Fantastic selection, various styles within my price range and an incredible seamstress (even though it was a little pricey, it was worth having them done in house as the bodice and hem of my dress were perfection after the alterations). When I did decide on a dress (I don't want to spoil it) but what they did to celebrate was icing on the cake, I won't ruin it for future shoppers. I was on a time crunch and Vinnie knew to the date when I could expect my gown and veil in. She was on top of it and always an email away if I needed anything. Superb boutique, I highly recommend!

I had gone to a few other bridal dress shops before going to Ashley and Alexandria's. I tried on dress after dress but just couldn't find "the one". I walked in to Ashley and Alexandria's and right away I could tell this experience would be different than the others. The time and attention they gave to me was personal and thoughtful and they made me feel so comfortable. They make you feel like the most beautiful bride and as if you're family. I tried 2 dresses and automatically fell in love with both. Vinny and Alvin worked with me to bring together different pieces of both dresses to make a completely unique dress. I live out of state, so planning a wedding in Detroit without living there was quite stressful and difficult. Vinny and Alvin worked with me to make appointments when I would be in town, whether that meant staying open later or finishing alterations quicker than normal so I could try it on when I was in the area. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with them and I would highly recommend using them to any bride.

LOVED my dress! I never would’ve found it without Vinnie! It was tailored perfectly and looked amazing. There were never any stressful moments in the whole process - no mixups or tailoring running behind schedule despite the fact that I got engaged and married in less than 6 months!

Vinnie and Elvin were amazing! I can not speak highly enough of my experience at their boutique! I had been to several other bridal salons before them but still hadn’t found quite what I was looking for. When I came to Ashley & Alexandria’s I explained to Vinnie kind of what I was looking for. She went from there and pulled a few dresses, after each dress I would tell her what I liked or what I felt like was missing but it wasn’t always easy because I couldn’t fully explain it. She was able to totally understand me though and with each dress she got closer to what I wanted until she pulled out the dress that I had been searching for! She listened to me so well and did an amazing job! However, I didn’t have my sister with me so I wasn’t ready to purchase just yet. I had another appointment at a different salon right after my appointment with Vinnie. I told her that I loved the dress but I wasn’t ready to purchase until my sister saw it. She told me it was no big deal and she would stay late for me if I wanted to bring my sister back later on. I went to my other appointment knowing that my dress was back at Ashley & Alexandria’s. After my other appointment, I called Vinnie and asked if I could come back with my sister and sure enough Vinnie and Elvin stayed open for us. I cannot speak anymore highly of my experience there. They went above and beyond for us!

Ashley and Alexandrias is by far the best bridal salon hands down. They are an appointment only shop which I loved because it was all about me during my appointment time. The owner Vinnie and her husband were amazing! They are really attentive to what you desire in a wedding dress. Their gorgeous selection of gowns makes it hard to choose. In fact I’m contemplating on purchasing a second gown and doing a dress change for my reception. I am definitely going to refer my friends to this salon for their weddings!

I had THE best experience with the owners and finding the right dress for my body type. They knew EXACTLY what I needed based upon my descriptions over the phone. It was nice to be able to go to a bridal store only one time and walk out knowing you found “the one”. It saved me so much time and effort. Once I found my dress, they brought out champaign, toasted, and celebrated with me. They were as happy for me as If I were family. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dress shopping experience. Thank you so much, Ashley and Alexandria’s! You deserve nothing but the highest regards.
