nal, and could do this in less than 2 weeks time. It wasn’t hard before finding Reggie’s Instagram page through a number of hashtag searches. What drew us in what was his expertise in the world of photography. Throughout his Instagram page he had both wedding photos, but also a plethora of tips and tricks for everything photography related that you could think of. That was a HUGE plus. Next was his website, and booking. We wanted to see more of his work, and subsequently book him if we liked what we saw. We did, and filled out the inquiry for soon after. The booking process was extremely easy, and professional. He scheduled a video call with both my Wife and I to get a general idea of what we were looking for, getting to know about us as a couple, and also sharing information on how he got started in this business and why he’s so passionate about what he does. We both liked what we heard and saw so far, but we had one major question, for him. My Wife and I were having an outdoor wedding, but we didn’t see many pictures of dark skinned people of color on his website photos. This may not seem like an issue, but lighting is EVERYTHING in these situations. So we asked him straightforwardly about our concerns. He reassured us that he had experience in this area, and sent us a few examples of previous work he did. We were satisfied, and proceeded to officially Book him for our Wedding! A few days before the wedding, we had another phone conference to hash out the final details. Finally the Big Day!! Reggie arrived earlier than his required time (which was AMAZING). He introduced himself, and he immediately went to Work! With camera in hand, he started to get in position to work his magic. Throughout the ceremony he moved fluidly throughout the crowd to capture breathtaking photos. After the ceremony directed us for our group and couple pictures on the Beach, and we eventually traveled to another location in the area to take a few more. His direction was more than exceptional! We had a great time, and he made sure that he caught off of the off guard looks, the smiles, just everything! This was actually the first time my Mother was going to meet my Daughter, and after letting Reggie know this, he was able to get their FIRST interaction with each other, and a plethora of other amazing photos that will forever be cherished by my Family. All in all We would hire for EVERY future event we plan on having. He was THAT fantastic. We received the photos about 4-6 weeks later, with availability to share our link to friends and family (which was super important for all of my family who couldn’t make it due to COVID Restrictions) and a .zip file to download all of our photos! For example, during our photo taking sessions, he has a way of providing helpful directions and suggestions and then quickly fading into the background. I'm normally very anxious when taking photos, but with his help, I was able to just enjoy the moment and create a fun memory with my then-fiance, now-wife. His magic with the camera captured photos that I do not even know how he captured! Looking through his photos, I often think to myself, how did he get that shot?! It's amazing!

Reggie is a rockstar with communication, and as a formerly obsessive bride, that is a trait I really appreciate. He held our hands every step of the way, both with our engagement shoot and our wedding. There was never a time that I felt he was on another planet. He was open, understanding, accommodating, transparent, patient and professional. Those are a lot of buzz words, but believe me - he was ALL OF THOSE THINGS. Finding a photographer with technical skill, a creative eye AND good communication sounds like a unicorn situation, so when I say we are grateful to have worked with him...we mean it! I was trying to build our own timeline and Reggie was more than happy to help us carve that out. In fact, his timeline was what we ended up giving to our actual wedding coordinator! The guy knows his stuff! During the actual wedding, our timeline did fly out the window but he kept his cool (which was severely needed since my "cool" had moments of nonexistence.) He kept things running smoothly, he knew when to "get in there" and get some shots in and he knew when to take a step back. When he DID take a step back, he still kept busy capturing all the other shots that we had discussed. (He had encouraged a lot of discussion before the day to make sure we were on the same page regarding what pictures we wanted.) That prior discussion was a life-saver because I couldn't even get my shoes on right, let alone remember which pictures we wanted him to take. He worked so well with our other vendors (including videographer) and was such a friendly dude. Our dog loved him! All in all, I'd tell anyone that Reggie was a shining star. He captured our day perfectly and I dare say he made it look even cooler than it probably was. If I had the chance to do it all again, he'd still be the one taking pictures.
