We are professional party rocking DJs who have focused our talents on creating unforgettable wedding receptions and we would love to help you create a extraordinary experience for your guests! Our business is air guitar, sing alongs, high fives and fist pumps. We play the music that makes old ladies twerk and gets guys to pull off their jackets and “floss” between their legs with it. We play the music that will incite spontaneous dance offs, group hugs, and the occasional spilled drink. We create unforgettable parties! More than anything, you should know that we are young enough to know what is hip, but we are old enough to know that your event is all about you, not us. Our team of DJs has over 100+ years of cumulative DJ experience, and our team knows that weddings are composed of an assortment of guests with a wide range of ages and musical tastes. We know that it is important for a DJ to play music that everyone will enjoy at a wedding, and our team is skilled at creating a mix of music that will satisfy everyone at your event and get guests of all ages out onto the dance floor. Our DJs will also custom tailor the music to reflect your personal taste and style, and they will avoid the music you hate by getting a detailed do not play list from you! We will mix in all your personal requests and we will be sure to work in those guilty pleasure “everybody faves” to keep the dance floor packed. All this will be delivered using an amazing ultra premium sound system paired with stylish and modern event lighting. Please know that our DJs are classy, confident, and tasteful MCs who will keep your event flowing and will "direct traffic" as needed, but they won't ry to be the showman or over the top annoying DJ (like the guy you probably saw at your cousin's wedding). We will keep the focus of the night on you and will only interrupt the evening for any activities you want us to facilitate or any announcements you have asked us to make. Mitch was our Remix DJ for our wedding and we could not have asked for more! He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about what he does. He kept the dance floor packed the whole night and took all of our requests into consideration. We would highly recommend Remix Weddings for any special events!

DJ Ryan (and the whole crew at Remix) was absolutely incredible. He was able to get a small wedding of introverts on the dance floor for the entire night. From our unconventional song choices for the ceremony to the eclectic requests during the reception, Ryan never missed a beat. I am so grateful for this team for turning our wedding into a dream!

Kipper and Remix weddings were absolutely fantastic! My husband and I requested DJ Kipper after some stellar reviews from some of our other vendors. Needless to say, they did not lead us astray! Throughout the whole process, Kipper was very open with his communication, accommodating, and very approachable and fun to talk too. Each meeting felt as if we were discussing music and the party to come with a close friend and that made a world of difference come the wedding day. When planning what add-ons we wanted, he did not try to oversell us and provided very professional responses regarding what resources the venue already had at our disposal. We did end up adding the disco ball set-up and did love the way it complimented the space! During the reception, he absolutely crushed it with his mixing and the songs he played. All of our guests were on the dance floor all night and had nothing but great reviews for the music! My wife and I are both very into music and had put together a few playlists as inspiration. Kipper did fantastic with reading the vibes we were going for and putting the vibes into action! We had a vision for the party and the reception we wanted, and DJ Kipper absolutely executed the vision! DJ Kipper is an amazing DJ who happens to DJ weddings -- 10/10 would recommend!

DJ Kipper was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Leading up to our wedding day, he took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions to get to know us and ask questions about how we envisioned our day. He kept the dance floor going all night long and made sure to play all of our favorites. He was able to blend so many different genres of music together effortlessly - from punk rock to pop to country. I am so happy we booked DJ Kipper - our guests still complement him!

Immediately upon talking to Remix on our initial phone call, I knew they were our DJ company. The DJ I spoke with listened patiently, TOOK NOTES (I could hear him typing in the background), asked all the right questions, and then ended the call by providing me with a clear understanding of the next steps with any DJ we may chose. The DJ was adamant about letting us pick the right DJ for our day, and not trying to sell Remix to us. I left that conversation feeling good inside, and I knew I had found the right company. We signed the contract with Remix a year and a half from our actual wedding date, and over that time, the DJ we signed was always available by email, text or phone call to answer questions and provide us valuable insight into our planning. Remix DJ’s have seen it all and can tell you what works and what doesn’t. They are such a valuable resource beyond just playing music on your wedding day and I owe so much to our DJ. His skills on the decks were obviously amazing too. We got compliments all night long and even the next several days about how good the DJ was. Our dance floor was always full and everyone from young to old was out there at some point show-casing their moves. A great wedding DJ can make or break the atmosphere of your wedding (working with the Bride and Groom of course), so it was paramount to us that we hired someone we connected with and who was able to read the room and adjust on the fly to keep the energy high and the night fun for everyone. Remix nailed it. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again, and as you can tell by this long-winded review, I am overjoyed with their service.

From the first email to our wedding night, we had an absolutely amazing experience with Mitch and Kipper at Remix. Many of our guests declared Mitch 'the best DJ ever' and we were so impressed with his creativity, kindness, personality, and professionalism. They were on top of emails, responsive, and alwayss willing to help. At the wedding, we had guests we've NEVER seen dance at a wedding before out on the dance floor for a long time! The photo booth was a huge hit, and Ali was wonderful! We loved the video guest book, too! Overall, we would give them 10 stars if we could!

Kipper was an WONDERFUL part of our wedding day! He was super communicative, organized, and full of enthusiasm from the start of our planning process. Kipper’s fantastic, wellrounded experience really showed through when it came to providing an incredible perspective and well thought out details to our wedding day. We could not recommend him ENOUGH! He brings professionalism to each aspect of the planning process. From asking us questions that we didn’t even consider, to helping me surprise my partner with his favorite WWE entrance song. As a planner (and control freak), it was really special to be able to put all of my trust in Kipper to create the perfect atmosphere for every part of the timeline. The dance party was FLAWLESS! I never left the dance floor. Not for cake cutting, not for anything! Our guests are still talking about what an awesome dance party it was! THANK YOU KIPPER!

We are still floating on a cloud from my daughter's wedding this past weekend. We were blessed to have DJ Tony running our event. From the first phone call to the end of the reception, he was the consummate professional. He was organized, timely, friendly, and, most of all, FUN! Our evening went off flawlessly because of him. Using Remix Weddings was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Mitch did a fantastic job! It was exactly what we were hoping for and more. Remix weddings was great to work with from beginning to end. At the beginning we worked with Mitch. Mitch was very informative, helpful, and friendly. We had a couple conversations with him before deciding to move forward with Remix. He was never pushy trying to make the sale. Remix has a handful of different djs to choose from. And they provide sample mixes and profile info for each dj so you can find out which dj best relates to your desires and vibes. DJ Ryan was our DJ. Ryan was great to work with. He is easy to speak with. He is such a nice and happy person (with a great laugh and personality!) We loved that he is a teacher and actually teaches dj classes at his local high school. He truly listens to your input and requests while offering advice and suggestions based on his experience. He’ll be honest with you on where he sees opportunities in the planning to improve your and the guest experiences. On his actual skills behind the turntables… he absolutely killed it. As with many weddings, we had a wide range of ages and vibes in our guest list. But he read the crowd perfectly, while respecting what we wanted. He was able to successfully mix it all from classic rock to dance / house music. The dance floor was alive and rowdy all night. We would certainly recommend remix weddings to anyone!

We used Remix Weddings for our wedding a few weeks ago and are so happy we did! Mitch Fortune was GREAT; very responsive, very professional (also made sure to check in on what the attire of the wedding was so he could dress appropriately), and he listened and took note of the types of music we wanted played and when and made it happen so smoothly. I highly recommend Remix Weddings for your wedding day!!! DJ Kipper was extremely professional and really took the time to get to know exactly what kind of music we were wanting. He Facetimed us a couple of times throughout the planning process-which was super easy and streamlined. He was willing to give us some of his own tips/recommendations which was so helpful. Can't say enough about Kipper and the team at Remix Weddings, extremely professional and really took the time to understand our wants. We had a large contingency of guests travelling from abroad, so really wanted to strike the right balance in pleasing all crowds while still ensuring it was the music that we liked. Kipper took the extra time to meet with us and also research the music genres we were requesting, and when it came to the dance party we couldn't have asked for more. You're definitely in safe hands if you decide to work with Remix Weddings!

We worked with Remix Weddings for our wedding in Asheville and they were great. We worked with Kipper specifically, who helped keep the wedding on track time wise and played great music all night. We met with Kipper several times before the wedding to check in about the schedule and to make sure he knew how the night would run. Little details and organization go a long way, and Kipper knew exactly what needed to happen and when and there was absolutely no stress the night of the wedding. Could not recommend more highly.

I don’t know where to even begin! Kipper was an absolute dream to work with! He was so kind, so professional, extremely responsive, and beyond accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Whatever expectations we may have had beforehand, he blew out of the water. He is truly the best at what he does. Mitch and his team were the best at my wedding! Mitch is so professional and helpful. He was able to help take some of the wedding stress off of my shoulders thanks to his client portal which is extremely user-friendly! Would highly recommend working with Remix Weddings. We got married at Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC in May 2022. From our first Zoom call with Mitch, we knew we would be in good hands. He walked us through how he would manage the vibe and the flow of the entire day. He didn't try to upsell us on anything. In fact, he knew our venue well and was able to explain to us all the things we probably DIDN'T need, because of the way the space was laid out, lit, etc. My friends really love to dance and they are music snobs. They told us later that Mitch was the best wedding DJ they had ever experienced. (By the way, I am the last one in my friend group to get married, so we've been to a LOT of weddings. This is really high praise!!) They were really impressed by the way that he really live mixed through the entire night and was super responsive to the crowd's energy and requests. Speaking of requests, Mitch has a really easy online portal where you can enter all of your must plays, do not plays, etc. He definitely honored all of ours, so we had no reason to be concerned about any guest requests :) He also handled sound for our ceremony and dinner speeches, all of which was totally seamless. Thank you, Mitch, for making our day so fun, and making us look so good in front of our friends!

Remix Weddings was the perfect choice for our wedding at the Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC. Mitch and the team worked with us while we planned our event long-distance, and everything went smoothly. We worked with Craig Loveland and - true to his name - we LOVE HIM. He met with us a few times to get to know our story, our vibe, and our goals for the event. He got to know our guests, curated the perfect playlist, and even made sure my husband and I had our drinks before starting the toasts. We also used the Remix Photobooth, and have loved all the photos our guests took during the event. We truly didn't want the night to end, thank you DJ Craig!

Kipper was amazing, legendary! Our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to and the best photo booth they had ever used! They loved the digital feature vs the print out booths they had seen at other weddings. Kipper was so amazing, his transitions were flawless. I don’t think I left the dance floor once! It was so memorable and it was majorly because of how great his DJing was! I’m honestly sad we won’t get to hang with kipper as much as we have been. He’s so awesome and made our wedding a 12/10.

Kipper was the DJ at our wedding and we could not have been happier with our entire experience. He was great at listening to what music we wanted and incorporating both the songs we love (a lot of which were not your typical wedding songs) and classic songs that our parents and rest of wedding party would know. He played it all in a way which flowed and kept everyone on the dance floor. It was honestly hard to leave the dance floor because we didn’t want to miss whatever song he played next! You can tell he really loves what he does and that is totally why he is so good at it. I would 100% recommend Kipper and the rest of the Remix team, you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I got married on 4/30/2022 at Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC. The venue coordinator recommended Remix Weddings, and in particular Craig, for our wedding. She was not wrong! From the start, Craig was extremely helpful when it came to planning the right amount of songs for our ceremony and the best music theme for our cocktail hour and reception. Every email we sent, Craig responded within minutes! Our final meeting with Craig prior to the wedding was a breeze and he made sure he had every single detail he needed to make sure our wedding day went off perfectly. He set up the sound for our outdoor ceremony and every guest said that they could hear us perfectly. I was worried that guests wouldn't dance at the reception but trust us, they all danced (some better than others)! Craig even took the time to listen to our Spotify playlists that we sent him so that he got to know our music tastes. We highly recommend Remix Weddings, and in particular Craig, if you are looking for a DJ. They are wonderful to work with and they make sure your party is full of fun and dancing!

Mitch did an awesome job and was a highlight of our wedding weekend! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flowed perfectly with effortless ease. He kept things organized and on track, but all of this felt natural. When it came time to get everyone on the dance floor, he has a genius trick that guests are still talking about. He kept the dance floor full all night and knew exactly how to read the room. Everybody loved the song selection and the transitions between songs were incredible. Don’t hesitate with hiring this one of a kind DJ.

Just WOW!! As a performing musician I feel I have an appreciation for the energy of a crowd and cannot say enough good things about our DJ and his ability to keep it fun!!!!! Everyone stayed on the dance floor for about 3 hours!!! It was amazing!!! And he did exactly what we asked!! Not obtrusive, kind and respectful in every way to our couple! Great sound, professional in every way!!!

Our wedding was in June of 2021. To be honest, the DJ quality was far below our expectations. There were several times when the music completely cut out unexpectedly. Twice, Craig asked us while we were on the dance floor which song he should play next, while no other song was playing. It was very awkward for us. Several times he left the dj booth to take pictures of the dance floor. Once, after a good dancing hype song was played, the music just abruptly stopped, and Craig was nowhere around. He then had to run back over to the DJ booth, then got on the mic to explain that he was distracted with something else and that "it wont happen again" all while were just waiting for him to play another song. This was really disappointing, as we had MULTIPLE calls with Craig to discuss what types of music we liked and even sent a playlist of songs to play. It was absolutely terrible.

Mitch and his team at Remix Weddings are AMAZING! They were accommodating and responsive during the wedding planning process and truly transformed our reception space with the use of a projected monogram and uplighting. Mitch played music for every generation of wedding guests and perfectly read the crowd in terms of what to play next. Mitch responded to emails quickly and approached each request we had with an open mind and enthusiasm. The day of the wedding I had no stress regarding our reception music because Mitch had thoroughly walked me through each portion of our reception days before. If you are looking for a DJ for your special event LOOOK NO FURTHER! I truly cannot say enough good things about Remix Weddings. I wish I could have another wedding so I could hire them all over again. :)

Mitch DJ'ed our Asheville wedding recently, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him and Remix Weddings to couples looking for a wedding DJ. He was a joy to work with as we planned our wedding long-distance: cheerful, professional, super friendly and helpful, and very responsive whenever questions arose. He made our entire planning process fun, easy, and stress-free. One of the things that mattered most to us was making sure our small wedding of 35 guests still had a great dance party, and Mitch made that happen. He played a great mix of Top 40 and older songs that got everyone out on the dance floor and was wonderful about taking specific requests to keep the dance party going. He was the perfect MC for our event: professional and fun, and made sure that everything at the reception ran smoothly. Remix's online planning platform is a great tool to plan not just music but also your event timeline and more, and even has a feature that allows guests to make requests in advance. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mitch and the entire Remix team if you're looking for a professional DJ service to make your wedding (and wedding planning) fun and stress-free.

We are huge music nerds and don't love the traditional top 40 hits. We knew we wanted osmeone that would understand that while also mixing our style with music that keeps everyone dancing. We worked with DJ Marley and it was PERFECT. We talked to Mitch to decide on our DJ and hear about Remix as a company and were then matched with Marley who opened up our online portal where everything was planned. They had checklists and spotify link-ups that made planning easy. Hardest part was choosing the songs. We had a conversation the week of the wedding to finalize everything and he was huge in helping us by hearing the vibe that we wanted for each segment of the wedding and reception and making it come to life. We had a few must plays from our college dance party day's that kept the energy high while we ended with a huge Mr. Brightside hit that easily became the best song of the night. Remix and Marley was a HUGE hit and we highly recommend.

If my wedding was prom, Mitch would have been voted King. Every single person I spoke to literally gushed over him. How amazing the song selection was, how sick the setup looked, how they were blown away by the lights. I personally loved speaking with him as he felt like a friend and made the process fun and easy. DJ Kipper was phenomenal throughout our whole wedding process!! He really understands how events and music should flow from ceremony to reception, and he was helpful in making music decisions leading up to our wedding. Our reception music was spot on, and multiple people, who are in the music industry, said his equipment and song transitions were really top notch. Everything was just perfect thanks to DJ Kipper!! DJ Adam was FANTASTIC! There was never a dull moment on the dance floor--people of all ages were on their feet the entire night. He was so kind and accommodating to our particularly "lively" guests who requested a dance off between friend groups (which was a blast)! The online portal provided by Remix Weddings was awesome!! We could request 'Must Play' song, 'Play if Possible' songs, 'Do not play' songs, and even 'dedication' songs. In addition, we were able to specify our cake cutting song, bouquet toss song, first dance, entrance, etc. to the online portal. It was extremely easy to use and it was so nice to know that the bride and groom had some control over the music!! Highly recommend!

Remix Weddings was hands down one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Everyone said that our wedding was one of the best they've ever been to and I have no doubt that Mitch and Remix Weddings were a part of that. Mitch was super easy to work with both before and during the wedding. Once you book, you have access to their planning software, which is super beneficial if you want everything planned out to the smallest detail. We were fairly easy going so we pretty much did all of our planning during our meeting with Mitch a few days before. He was able to help guide us on things that we hadn't even thought of as well as help us come up with a time line for the wedding/reception. He was able to roll with last minute changes in music and requests. During the event, Mitch kept the party going and was always ready if we wanted to skip songs or cut short awkward moments. Mitch had a game plan for the night when it comes to music and it was fantastic. He had a way to get everyone on the dancefloor to avoid the awkward who starts it off moment, went through a good selection of music for everyone and slowly worked towards the end with music the hard-core dancers loved, and each song was transitioned seamlessly into the next. One of my favorite moments of the night was towards the end when we were getting ready to go into some hip hop/rap song which everyone was excited about and then the beat dropped into All Star by Smash Mouth. It was unexpected but absolutely hilarious and everyone enjoyed it. Another testament to the skill of Mitch was that my uncle actually blew out his dress shoes dancing, ran to the car, changed into some sneakers, and came right back out onto the dancefloor. Overall, Remix Weddings was a perfect choice. We'd almost hit two years of waiting to get married due to Covid and it was well worth the money and the wait. If you want to dance and have an absolute blast, hire Remix Weddings.

5 stars all around for Remix Weddings! Both Mitch and Craig were super helpful during the planning process. At the actual wedding, DJ Craig absolutely killed it! We had no speeches or real downtime, and our reception was basically just dinner and dancing. Every guest we talked to said the music was one of the best parts of the wedding! As the bride myself, I danced to every single song from after dinner to the grand exit! I'd recommend Remix Weddings to every bride in Asheville and the surrounding areas. They truly are the best we could've asked for!

We had the best DJ for our wedding. Craig contacted us a number of times to make sure everything went off without a hitch for our wedding. We put together a custom playlist. We had about four hours of music for 2 1/2 hours of wedding time, and Craig went through cutting the music and adding excellent transitions. We also had unique introductions that he nailed. We were very happy with their services.

Our wedding was the dance party of THE CENTURY thanks to Remix Weddings! I'm not exaggerating. Our whole experience with Remix weddings felt very professional, personal and fun. We had the pleasure of having DJ Kipper from Remix as our wedding DJ and I think it was one of the best decisions we made. He was an absolute joy to work with. He was able to put together the perfect playlist for our whole wedding based on our specific requests but also our individual music tastes. One thing some people may forget about a wedding DJ is they not only play music but they essentially MC your whole reception. You want someone who has a fun personality but also is professional, Kipper checked all those boxes. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. You know your DJ is good when your wedding guests are chanting the DJ's name by the end of the night. Look, if you don't want your wedding to be fun, hire someone else but, if you want your wedding to be the best party of your entire life and probably your guests lives too...hire a DJ from Remix weddings.

Mitch was incredible!! He rolled with a bunch of fast changes that happened during our wedding day and made sure everything was perfect! Our guests were on the dance floor all night long! The photo booth they offer is amazing as well! Mitch helped create a perfect personalized filter and our guests had so much fun taking photos and boomerangs! Definitely recommend Mitch for your wedding!!!

Mitch & DJ Ryan did a fantastic job for our wedding from start to finish. Mitch was extremely responsive during the planning process and the website gave us enough details to know that DJ Ryan would be a perfect DJ for us! DJ Ryan was flexible with our changes and last minute decisions. We definitely had a great time on the dance floor! We would highly recommend Remix weddings for your DJ needs! I would without a doubt hire Mitch and Remix Weddings for any event. We were lucky to find Mitch via google. His website was fantastic with ideas and information. It also stressed the importance of hiring a fantastic DJ for your wedding to keep the party going. Mitch delivered. We had several zoom meetings before our wedding and Mitch helped us think through every detail, and many we did not consider. He helped with timing and overall day of event management. He set up at our ceremony site and provided amazing audio and then effortlessly was ready to go at the venue when the guests arrived. He kept everything going and the reception was the most fun. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and Mitch gets credit for a majority of that. If you are getting married - hire Mitch! Do yourself a favor and boom the Remix team now. Mitch has been incredible throughout the planning process, and after speaking with us paired us with Kipper. Kipper was able to keep all the guests on the dance floor the entire night, while flawlessly combining a wide array of genres. We cannot speak highly enough of this team.
