During the summer they have Bonfire Wednesdays in which you have the opportunity to listen to live music, eat pizza, and show loved ones the venue. er not finding anything that matched what we wanted closer to home. As soon as we parked at the venue, I looked at my now-husband, and said "we're getting married here". We also took advantage of some of the wood-fired Wednesdays to help with visually planning where we wanted decor to go. That's where we worked with Nikki and got all of our questions answered. When we did our final walk through with Jill, she made sure everything was documented for the day to a T so everyone was on the same page. When gotI got to the venue, my MOH and I met with Maddy, our event coordinator for the day, and she was present and available for anything we needed last minute in regards to setup and executing the plan we had made. The day went amazing! We only got a bit behind but that was mostly due to me and my husband wanting to get more pictures in. The whole team at Rolling Ridge is so supportive and their property is so beautiful. We couldn't recommend them more!

ed for our friends in their flat facility rental fee that included SO MANY extras. The venue is stunning and private, there were so many spaces that could be utilized for every element of the wedding. Knowing all of this before showing up on the day of the event still didn't prepare us for the incredible experience we had. The ceremony was intimate and emotional on the ridge covered by massive oak trees, the dinner inside the historic barn was served professionally, the food was delicious and it was fresh, the bar service was excellent and the couples signature cocktail was so good. As part of the bridal party we got to hang out in the basement speakeasy which felt exclusive and was a great place to take a few moments to ourselves during the day. And then we ended the night dancing away underneath the stars in the courtyard and snacking on delicious woodfired pizzas. I don't think we've had such a beautiful, fun and relaxed experience at a wedding and that is largely due to how easy Rolling Ridge made the day with all their onsite services and inclusions. We highly recommend!

through all the details and was readily available to answer questions as we did some mock decor setups. Day of, Custom Catering staff was at our disposal. They were very efficient in their set up so we could take care of our decor and final touches. Our day of coordinator was very helpful, in particular taking care of some tasks we didn't have time for (turning on lantern candles while we enjoyed happy hour!). What I loved most was the expanse of this property for our guests to enjoy. It was a beautiful day so we were able to enjoy every inch of the place - indoor and out. The catering staff and bartenders were on top of everything ... very professional and wonderful with our guests. One last thing - I had used a crochet hook to secure the buttons on my daughter’s dress and it didn't make it back from wedding. It was from my mother in law who is deceased so it had some sentimental value. I called Nikki two weeks after the wedding to see if it had been found. It had not. A few hours later, I had gotten a message that they did a deep dive into the couch cushions in the bridal suite and found it! I appreciated the extra effort:)

Plus we were able to go on Wednesday nights during Woodfired Wednesday to plan by ourselves which was nice because we got to experience kind of what the atmosphere might be like! We got married on a Friday and were able to do our rehearsal dinner and set up there the night before which was great, but I think we totally would have had enough time had we just had one day because doing everything there and having Custom Catering set up the dinner and ceremony seating meant we had very little to do--our photographer commented that it was the first wedding she'd ever done where hair and make up were done ahead of schedule and I honestly think it was because we could start at 8am and had nothing else to do! 100% would recommend this venue to everyone; it was perfect!

The day of coordinator appeared to be a very new young girl who didn’t seem very experienced. And you have to do a rehearsal the same day or pay an arm and a leg if your wedding is on a Saturday. Apparently the kids meals were so over cooked the kids couldn’t eat them, the veggies were definitely not what we had seen and tasted with the caterer. At least there is a playground for the kids and they let us haul in our own arch and get married in between the oak trees. I was very disappointment with the customer service and felt pulled around by all the extra charges I didn’t realize we would need. Like insurance and lunch packages.

A friend of mine decorated the outside and inside areas, and the look was so classy.
We had specific requests—like a unique square design for tables for the meal. The staff helped us to make it a reality.
The root cellar was a cool place for the guys to get ready for the ceremony. The bridal area was roomy and well laid out for all of the ladies in our party.
Cocktail hour was in the bar area and outside seating adjoining, complete with Adirondack chairs and bonfires.
The meal was delicious and served professionally.
We had a twist contest during our dance and it was such fun!!
The historic barn was the ideal venue for our dinner and dance.
We had guests stay at the Hilton Garden Suites which was less than a 10 minute drive away.
We were so lucky to have Rolling Ridge in central MN! They made our day one of good memories.

for a July wedding day. We loved the onsite bridal suite for getting ready in the morning, but because we couldn't have access to the venue until 8am, we did have to start hair at the hotel. The guys getting ready space (rooster's roost) was not adequately climate controlled with a wall mounted AC unit, so they found space in the central part of the venue to hang out which led to a few close calls where the bride and groom almost ran into each other. Rolling Ridge staff were helpful making sure all of the details were addressed in the final walkthrough and answering last minute questions via email to help the day go smoothly.
There are additional fees outside of the base rental price, which is already quite high compared to other venues in the area that we toured. These fees include optional rental of an additional space downstairs (which would be an excellent area for the guys to get ready in a climate controlled space), set up of tables and chairs for dinner in the barn, and event insurance purchased by the couple. While they are transparent about these costs, it seems as though the high rental fee should cover more of an "all-inclusive" experience where the couple doesn't have to worry about coordinating and paying for these extra options. By working with Rolling Ridge, you are locked into working with Custom Catering by Short Stop for all food & beverage needs throughout the day (including breakfast and lunch if onsite for those times of the day). There were times where miscommunication occurred between venue staff, our Custom Catering event coordinator, and our Custom Catering day of coordinator which took time to resolve.
Overall, we received many compliments about the beauty of the venue and loved the indoor and outdoor spaces available for pictures and celebrating throughout the night. However, considering the price we paid, we wish customer service would have been more personalized. We didn't know who our point of contact for the venue was until our final walkthrough 3 weeks before the wedding. We felt as if we were just another wedding in their books and it took away from the feeling that they viewed our day as a special and one-of-a-kind event like we did.

itself. Rolling Ridge offered a great space to host all of our guests and offer them multiple spaces to gather, inside and outside. We planned to have our ceremony outside but the weather had other ideas and we had to make a day-of change, which was easy and painless because of the indoor ceremony space options and flexibility of Rolling Ridge staff. Later in the day, the rain cleared and we were able to enjoy the courtyard during cocktail hour. When it was time for the dance, rain was threatening again and we set up the dance indoors. Having all of these beautiful spaces made it easy for us to work with the weather without ruining our day or causing extra stress. And it turned out perfectly despite the changes. We would definitely recommend Rolling Ridge for anyone hoping to get married in central Minnesota!

fortable. I loved that I didn’t have to have too much decor because of how beautiful everywhere is outside and inside the barn as well. The staff were extremely helpful, reliable and easy going. We picked this venue pre-Covid and were thrilled to be able to have space for guests to celebrate with us however they were comfortable. The highlight for us and the thing that our guests still rave about was having an outdoor dance under the stars and twinkling lights! Highly recommend having your big day here.. it is the best!

tour and we knew it was going to be the place that we said "I Do!". The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and every guest shared the same words as they explored the day of our wedding. Through all of the uncertainty of COVID, Randy and his staff were nothing less than amazing. They gave such a sense of piece and calm through all of the choas of planning. They went out of their way to make our day more incredible and special than we ever even imagined it would be. I have shared with so many and will continue to share our amazing experience with Rolling Ridge as we are just beyond thankful for all of their help in making our day so special.

Totally thought we left this review earlier, but better late than never! Rolling Ridge was the perfect event for our wedding! From the first time we toured with Randy we knew it ...
was the place for us. Both Brooke and Randy were very patient and helpful in the planning process and made us feel comfortable on our wedding day. We really appreciated the upfront pricing and "non hidden fees" that Rolling Ridge had. If you have looked at other venues you know there can be a lot of hidden fees and we feel that RR was very up front with what was included in the price. Everything went off without a hitch. We were glad to have the option of an indoor plan B in place, as even in May the weather turned for the worse but we had fast turnaround for a beautiful indoor ceremony.
The only comment for improvement we would note is that the Rooster's Roost could really use a space heater so you don't have to bring your own when it's cold out.

d dance were hosted outside while dinner and bar were hosted in the air conditioned barn/lounge. The space can be described as a dream venue with beautiful landscaping and amazing re-faced buildings throughout the entire property.
All aspects of staff involvement were pleasant. Brooke was amazing to work with when planning our special day. Our day of coordinator Lyndsey had such a positive attitude and was super sweet, helpful, and available throughout the entire day to assist with any needs that came up! Hailey with custom catering was super friendly and easy to work with. We received great feedback on all our food and the service provided. 6/5 stars!

your day is perfect! The venue location is stunning with so many options for ceremony and reception both inside and out and we loved that and having the flexibility to choose. There is so much space at the venue too which was great as we had over 200 people. The price can add up because you have to buy insurance, and if you don't want to worry about ceremony or reception set up, you need to buy a package through the caterer, which is expensive... but overall, I would highly recommend this beautiful location!
