My husband and I fell in love with Rosewood Events the minute we stepped foot on the property. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a rose garden, beer garden style cocktail area and large classy tent with walls for dinner/dancing. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at a Catholic Church nearby, so Rosewood Events fit our style, location proximity and needs perfectly! We were immediately drawn to Ann, the owner of Rosewood Events, who was beyond kind, understanding, and professional. Ann answered all of our questions with a prompt and direct response, which we greatly respected as this allowed us to have a clear vision of how our day would run. We felt that Ann and the property had a warmth that made you feel like you were at your family’s home, and we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding at a location that would feel like home! In fact, we toured two other popular wedding venues around the area that felt cold and staged, which solidified our decision that Rosewood Events would encompass our love properly. On the day of the wedding, our wedding party got ready on site, and the bridesmaids cottage and groomsmen quarters were a perfect getting ready location. After we arrived back at Rosewood Events from the church, Ann greeted my husband and I with drinks, and throughout the day she, along with her daughter, Juliana and husband, Dan, checked in on my husband and I to make sure everything was going perfectly. I saw how hard Ann, her family, and her whole crew worked to make everything go smoothly! Ann went above and beyond to drive my husband and I around the property in her ATV so we wouldn’t have to walk to different photo locations. We truly felt loved and cared for on such a special day. Her crew of workers who helped guests park, as well as set up and break down as the day went by gave me major Yellowstone vibes (great TV show lol), which again encompassed the family feel who was there to get the job done in an efficient manner. Aside from the gorgeous property, Ann went above and beyond when we had a hiccup with our initial catering vendor. THREE weeks prior to our wedding, the catering company we initially hired ghosted Ann and our wedding planner during a scheduled venue walk through. This, coupled with recent lack of communication between the catering company towards our planner, Ann saw the red flags and knew our wedding would have its challenges should we have kept them as our catering vendor. While my wedding planner handled the situation like a champ, Ann personally reached out to me on several occasions to make sure everything was okay and to check in on my husband and I. I was overjoyed with her personal touch and care as I was stressed out about the situation. I knew we were in good hands when we hired Rosewood Events but this situation truly showed me how wonderful Ann and her venue is. I highly recommend Rosewood Events!!

Ann was a pleasure to work with and her property is stunning. From our first interaction with Ann she was professional and warm. Her experience with weddings helped guide our planning, and she gave us valuable feedback throughout the planning process. She worked the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly (it did). Her staff was also incredible, they handled parking and did a great job accommodating all of our guests' needs. The venue is nestled in the hills of West Marin. It's absolutely beautiful. She and her husband drove us up a 4x4 trail to a ridge above the venue for sunset photos that we will treasure forever. If you have the opportunity, do it! We cannot recommend Ann and her venue enough! Our wedding was perfect and we're glad we chose Rosewood.

My husband and I got married a couple weekends ago and are still feeling the beautiful thrill of the day. We fell in love with Rosewood Events as soon as we stepped onto the property. Ann and her team were incredibly supportive and there wasn’t a moment that I questioned if Ann had us taken care of. Any and all of our needs were kindly accommodated with a smile. It was the most special day we could have hoped for and a truly magical experience.

We loved our wedding at Rosewood. You get so much for the price, the owners are caring and kind, and they make you feel like a part of their family. The grounds are absolutely beautiful even in the dead of summer on one of the hottest days of the year. The master garden is fabulous for pictures, and the beautiful willow trees. The owners and their staff made the day run so smoothly.

Nic and I enjoyed every moment spent at Rosewood for our wedding! Ann and her staff ensured a smooth celebration with zero hiccups. The property is so beautiful with many photo ops. We loved getting ready in the bridal cottages and taking pictures under the willow trees. The weather was perfect in early September. We couldn't have found a better venue! Thank you!

From the moment we contacted Rosewood about our wedding, we received immediate attention and care - I cannot emphasize enough how much of a joy and an asset that Ann is! The grounds are breathtaking, from lush trees and rolling hills to the wisteria-draped pergola and gardens bursting with flowers. It was like we were transported into a fairytale, and our wedding was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined! Ann is an absolute expert, and made sure that everything ran perfectly. She was so sweet and helpful throughout the entire process, and her staff orchestrated the event flawlessly! Rosewood is like a dream - I couldn’t imagine a more naturally stunning, serene, and iconic place to get married. My wedding day was hands down the best day of my life, and Rosewood and its owners Ann and Dan were an integral part of making the vision for our wedding come to life. The first time my now husband and I stepped foot onto Rosewood, we knew it was different. We had visited many other “wedding factory” venues that seemed impersonal and unsupportive. Ann blew us away with her kindness, charm, and passion for holding weddings on her stunning garden estate. I knew she would treat me like her daughter, and she absolutely did. I remember loving Rosewood so much on the tour that I didn’t want to leave! Another bride was picking up wedding decor from her wedding the night before and was crying tears of joy and hugging Ann, telling her that her wedding was the best day of her life. I knew this was our venue instantly, and that its magic would enchant all of our guests, both local and out of state, and I was right. I have included a few pictures that only capture a glimmer of the beauty of Rosewood - our photos are indescribably gorgeous, just like out of a magazine! There are so many facets to Rosewood - the bridal cottage and groomsmen quarters, the pergola where we had our first look, the ceremony field with rolling hills as the backdrop, the outdoor bar by the redwood grove, the regal white reception tent...Throughout the entire process, Ann guided us through with warmth, wisdom, and grace. Even on our wedding day, it was as if I had a second wedding planner at my side, asking me if I needed anything and comforting and reassuring me. Ann was quite literally my wedding angel. I will never be able to thank Ann and Dan enough for helping me throw the most spectacular event of my life. This venue is a unicorn.

We just had our wedding at Rosewood on 8/19 and it was everything we wanted and more. Rosewood is such a beautiful place with amazing views and lots of picture perfect areas. We fell in love with Rosewood through pictures but seeing it in person is something else. The owners Ann and Dan were so great to us. Ann is so knowledgeable about weddings and had a lot of good advice to give us. She was so great about communicating with us throughout our planning and she was the absolute best on the day of our wedding. Ann is someone who truly cares about her guests and she showed that to us on our wedding day. She made sure everything went perfect. Dan was also super great and caring. Our favorite part of the day was taking photos out on the ridge. Everywhere we looked had a beautiful view, it was so quiet and beautiful up there. It was a moment we will never forget. Spectacularly beautiful and versatile, Rosewood Events has everything you could want for your wedding: unique locations for each wedding event - ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner/dancing; a caring and accommodating venue owner (Ann) and a capable team; spacious and fun quarters for both the bride and groom to get ready; and gorgeous locations for photos. We fell in love with the venue for its "feel" - the classic pastoral hills of coastal northern California, the beautiful flowers and willow trees accenting the property, and private access to a hilltop for sunset photos. We didn't realize though, how many elements of Rosewood would make all the difference on our wedding day: the unexpectedly beautiful white tent saved the day when we had unseasonably cool weather; Ann's experience and levelheadedness helped keep wedding day chaos to a minimum; lots of open space on the property ensured young kids could play (keeping both kids and parents happy); and a conscientious staff made sure our elderly guests were well cared for. Our guests raved about the beauty of the location and the kindness of the venue staff. We couldn't agree more!

We had an amazing experience at Rosewood. As our guests were traveling from the East Coast and overseas, we wanted a venue that truly embodied the beauty of California. Rosewood exceeded our expectations!! The space was stunning, with every inch thoughtfully curated and purposeful. Even the parking was ample for our 150 guests, and we didn't need to rent shuttle buses. Out of the nine venues we visited across the bay area, Rosewood was the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Ann, the owner, was an absolute delight to work with. She was warm, personable, and dedicated to making sure our experience was the best it could be. She truly cares about her couples and her venue, and her passion shows in the continuous improvements she makes to the venue. We share the same faith, and Ann prayed for us before, during, and after our wedding, making us feel so cared for and grateful we chose Rosewood. The only downside to the venue was the limited wifi and cell phone service, which can make it difficult for guests to get there and back, so we made sure to remind our guests not to rely on Uber or Lyft. We highly recommend Rosewood to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding venue that captures the beauty of California!

There is not much to add to the spot on wonderful reviews already posted here, except to say it’s simply the best and most beautiful place to have a wedding! Our daughter & son-in-law had the first wedding of 2023, and it was perfect! The setting and the set up at Rosewood is incomparable, as the pictures show (worth 1000+ words), and Ann’s good natured, above-and-beyond helpfulness, and her watchful eye and get-in-there-can-do spirit made everything run smoothly. We can’t thank her enough! Everyone had the best time! You can’t ask for anything more!

Where to begin with Rosewood Events! My wife and I were married at Rosewood in October. From the beginning of the process, Ann was immensely involved and helpful in helping us create the wedding day of our dreams. She had a couple walk-throughs of her gorgeous property with us to help work through details and tailor our experience to what we envisioned. Rosewood is a gorgeous property- so many settings and scenery to get beautiful photos! We appreciated Ann’s attention to detail and obvious care in making sure our special day went off without a hitch. We were able to set up decor, etc. the Friday before our wedding, making the day-of less stressful Both my wife and I got ready on site, which was not only fun, but incredibly convenient. Ann checked on us, our guests and family several times throughout the day/ night- this meant a lot to us! We had a medical emergency during our reception; Ann and her team were INCREDIBLE at handling this without disrupting the evening. We fell in love with Rosewood the first time we walked onto the property and we were sold on it as our wedding venue because of Ann’s incredible heart. We highly recommend Rosewood Events for your special day.

Rosewood hosted our Indian wedding ceremony and reception in September 2022. For reference, we looked into 50+ venues for our event and toured about 15 places. Rosewood stood out immediately - and even more importantly - Ann stood out as an amazing human to work with as we planned our wedding. It was really important to us to find a venue and vendors who were kind, flexible, thoughtful, and generous - if that resonates with you, don't hesitate to work with Ann. Our wedding was absolutely amazing. As expected, things don't always go perfectly during a wedding (it was in the 90s for our ceremony!) - but that's precisely why Rosewood is perfect, because Ann is thoughtful, adaptable, and committed to making things work for you. She went above and beyond leading up to our wedding and on the day of to make sure things went flawlessly. She cares deeply about making sure events at Rosewood go well; her investment in her couples, her property (home, really), and business is really special. She was incredibly flexible in working with us to choose our own vendors - for an Indian wedding, this really gave us the ability to find caterers who had food offerings that fit our goals. It also let us find an awesome bartender and DJ that made the event particularly excellent. If Rosewood hadn't already been at her home, we would have simply invited Ann to be a guest at our wedding - because she is awesome and kind and generous. If you are looking for a flexible, outdoor venue with an amazing setting and even more amazing people, Rosewood is perfect choice. We just celebrated my daughter’s colorful traditional Indian wedding. It was better than anything I could have I imagined. Rosewood Events was the perfect place to have my daughter’s wedding. It is a beautiful location surrounded by beautiful willow trees, flowers, mountains and nature. I saw 11 venues and the moment I walked into Rosewood, I knew immediately this was our wedding venue. However, what sold me most was Ann (owner of the venue). She made me feel at home as I toured the venue. She provided all the information and freely answered all my questions. I especially loved her enthusiasm for being part of the wedding planning and executing process to make our day very special. I am very impressed with the way Ann and her husband Dan (and her staff) took care of everything during the wedding so that we did not have to stress about anything. I especially appreciated the golf cart ride service provided to my 90-year old father who could not walk. My family and I appreciate you so much and we will always remember our special day at Rosewood. Thank you so much Ann and Dan.

Rosewood is truly our favorite venue. From the moment our team met Ann and touring Rosewood we knew where we would love to spend most of our weekends! Ann is so thoughtful, detailed, caring, and compassionate and it SHOWS how much she cares for each and every one of her clients. With her being all those things, she attracts the most amazing clients that we get to work with! There is nothing not to love about Rosewood Events . The gardens are beautiful and provide great backdrops for photos. The cocktail and reception areas were unlike any others that we saw. There was plenty of space in the cocktail area for guests to mingle, enjoy the gardens, cool off in the shade, and take in the golden hills of the ranch. The cocktail area provides ample room to sit or stand. The tent makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into another area entirely. It is spacious and has just the right amount of accessories, allowing you to keep it simple or glam it up. Rosewood is the only venue we saw that included spacious, comfortable areas for both the bride and groom to get ready. The bridal cottage has everything you need to make your morning go smoothly. The groom’s quarters is a combination of relaxing and fun. There is plenty of space for everyone to get ready and spread out - a major plus for a wedding venue. The venue owner, Ann, is an awesome person who will truly make you feel at home on her property. From the day we met her, we knew we wanted to work with Ann. She is honest, approachable, kind, a problem solver, and so much more. Ann cares about your wedding and truly wants it to be the best day of your life. She has great attention to detail and handles so much behind the scenes so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We would highly recommend anyone searching for a venue to work with Ann and have your wedding at Rosewood Events.

Run, don’t walk to lock in this venue! It’s absolutely stunning and a bit of a hidden gem. We are local and it was amazing to find a venue that felt so “us” and also that no one had been to before. Our guests have continued to rave about it since our big day. Ann and her husband own the property and she’s extremely responsive and kind. She also allows a lot of flexibility with vendors - the only requirement is to have a planner from her list (and our planner honestly ended up being some of our best money spent for the entire wedding - she was amazing!). They include a lot at the site as well, including ceremony chairs, reception tables and chairs, wine barrels and a bar. The setting is also so beautiful that you can let it shine and be selective with your floral budget. Can’t say enough good things!

We feel very lucky to have found Rosewood for our wedding. Ann was very kind and welcoming at our initial meeting where we got to tour her beautiful property, and she continued her hospitality throughout our visits and on the final day. The venue comes with a spacious tent with an ornate chandelier in the middle. Ann was very thoughtful to leave some decorations from a previous wedding up just for us, and it fit perfectly with our theme. While she has a spacious field and arbor where couples normally get married, we opted to get married under her willow tree with our smaller guest count. On the day, her husband Dan also took us and our photographer in a Polaris up to the top of the hills during golden hour to get some absolutely gorgeous shots. Thank you for our perfect day, Ann!

What an amazing experience from start to finish. Ann and her team at Rosewood not only have one of the best looking venues in the region, but their team and responsiveness were well beyond expectations. It was fantastic. My daughter's wedding was a day to remember and this venue is just a dream! You have to see this place to believe it. But...the reality is that there are many beautiful places, for me the thing that set this venue apart from any other is the team who makes it happen. She books just one wedding per weekend so you can be her entire focus. This also makes setup and take down stress free. The Rosewood crew is so efficient and smooth on the day of and put in so much work behind the scenes. What an absolute dream to be married swaddled between the hills of Petaluma with the sun and fog rolling over the hills. Ann is organized and clear, and she worked so incredibly hard to make our day magical. Ending the wedding on top of the ridge was such a treat and some beautiful photos and video were filmed up there as well. The gardens were a great place for photos, the tall daisy fields and lavender were my personal favorite. The day was an absolutely magical.

Ann, her husband and her staff are phenomenal! They all went above and beyond to make our wedding seamless, stress free and spectacular all around! The venue is gorgeous and private yet welcoming. Our wedding felt classy and elegant with a rustic charm. The venue is spacious yet warm. We honestly had the best time of our lives and part of that had to do with how trustworthy, professional and dedicated Ann was.

I just got back from my daughter's wedding at Rosewood Events and I do not have words to sufficiently express what a wonderful experience it was. Ann and Dan are fantastic. From our initial conversations through the planning process and the actual event, they, and especially Ann, made sure that everything went without a hitch. Ann was thoughtful and proactive in addressing any potential issues that might have arisen (none did, thanks to her foresight). She was always readily available to answer my questions and to communicate directly with our wedding planner and other vendors to insure that everything went smoothly. Ann is so warm and caring and genuine, and I always felt she had our best interests at heart; she even checked in with me and my daughter periodically to make sure everything was going well. I really feel she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a venue owner. Her policy of having only one wedding per weekend reflects this. It was wonderful to be able to drop things off on Friday and pick things up on Sunday so that the wedding day itself was more relaxed and we didn't feel rushed in or out! The venue itself is gorgeous with fabulous views of rolling hills. My daughter knew as soon as she saw it that Rosewood was where she wanted to get married (and we had looked at MANY venues previously). Our guests also kept exclaiming how wonderful it was. It was great to have several different locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They are all close to one another but it was nice that people were able to move around from one to the other. That made it easy to mingle and contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Ann also made sure that one guest who needed help was taken from one area to the next by golf cart, yet another indication of how thoughtful and considerate she is. The tent itself (included! -- as were all the chairs, tables, bar, some signage and some bathroom items) was beautiful with a chandelier and string lights which helped create a lovely atmosphere. It was also great to have separate areas for the bride and groom and their attendants to get ready. One glam highlight for the bride and groom was the trip to the ridge for sunset pictures! I really cannot recommend Rosewood and Ann more highly. My daughter and son-in-law were absolutely thrilled with the wedding, as were my husband and I. Our experience here was nothing short of wonderful!

After two years of planning, we finally had our dream day at Rosewood! Ann was accommodating and thoughtful through the entire planning process, which included one postponement due to COVID. Ann takes pride in her venue, and the time that she invests into the property definitely shows. There's a ton of thoughtful touches throughout. It's clear that she thinks a lot about the guest experience - and more importantly, the bride and groom's experience. The gorgeous tent is included, along with a ton of rentals - and the rentals aren't the generic type. Clean white folding chairs for the ceremony and beautiful cross-back chairs for the reception. It rained a bit during our cocktail hour, which was absolutely gorgeous, but it led to the ground being a bit wet. Ann was so helpful through that, offering to golf cart me to the bathrooms so that I didn't have to get my wedding gown wet. It's this and many other small touches along the way that made Rosewood the perfect venue for us. Thank you, Ann!!!

As a Petaluma native, when I first walked onto the venue property I was floored. I had always dreamt of an outside Petaluma wedding, and Rosewood was everything I had in mind and more. When my then fiancée and immediate family viewed the property, we were all emotional, knowing this was where we were supposed to get married. Not only is the property beautiful and tucked away, but the owner Ann is truly amazing and takes care of every couple that gets married there. She is always adding special touches to her property to make sure every couple has the best day of their lives there. She was very flexible and always available to chat and answer questions, especially in the uncertain and ever-changing times of covid. There are so many special touches including a cottage for both the bride and groom to get ready, the private hill for pictures, and the multiple areas for ceremony and cocktail hour, Rosewood is a dream in Petaluma. We are truly grateful for Rosewood and Ann and helping create our perfect wedding day!

Our daughters wedding last weekend at Rosewood Events was absolutely perfect! Not only is the venue itself well thought out and exquisite but Ann's attention to detail and customer service is simply the best. We can't think of one thing we would have wanted to do differently due to her expert advise and guidance. We are still glowing from all the love and joy that was felt over the entire weekend and couldn't be happier. Working with Ann has been by far the best experience in planning my wedding! Her attention to detail is evident in every single area of this venue, and there are many! The grounds are immaculate, obviously well cared for, and spacious. Of all the different venues we toured, Rosewood Events was the only one that felt like ‘home’, the perfect place I’d imagined for our wedding. To start, the grounds at Rosewood will literally take your breath away. From the beautiful gardens, to the ceremony views, and the amazing included reception tent – Rosewood has it all. Not only was Rosewood the most beautiful venue we toured, but it had the most to offer. The gardens are so expansive, gorgeous, and well-manicured and there are so many different areas for our guests to enjoy. Other venues had more strict guidelines on what vendors would be allowed, which Rosewood assured us would not be the case. Additionally, the number of rentals needed at other venues far exceeded what we will require at Rosewood. Aside from the venue, Ann and Dan, the owners of the venue, could not be more helpful, knowledgeable, or dedicated. Ann took us on our tour, and I was almost brought to tears with the detailed descriptions given of throughout each segment of the tour. Ann gave us so many touching options that we would have for our day and added professional insight to assist with our planning. Ann has a way of giving you facts and advice without being pushy. As a couple who has no experience with planning a wedding, Ann’s advice was so appreciated. In addition to tips about planning, Ann was able to put both of our minds at ease with how seamlessly our day will run and the promise to be there for us on the big day. Ann and Dan are so dedicated to ensuring your day is perfect and it is very evident with the attention to detail seen around the venue. I cannot wait to write another review after our wedding date next fall. If you are thinking of having an outdoor ceremony in Sonoma County, you cannot beat Rosewood.

Ann is a the most wonderful person to work with. Her venue is prestigious, clean, and not to mention absolutely perfect. The bridal cottage is one of my favorites places and is perfect for me and my bridal party to get ready in which was a huge must have for us. We had so many choices to pick from but from the moment we stepped on the property it was game over. Nothing competes with the rolling hills and the space to create whatever wedding vision you have. I can’t wait for our special day because this estate is absolutely stunning alone and I can’t imagine what it will look like with all my wedding decorations.
