We were able to set up decor, etc. the Friday before our wedding, making the day-of less stressful Both my wife and I got ready on site, which was not only fun, but incredibly convenient. Ann checked on us, our guests and family several times throughout the day/ night- this meant a lot to us! We had a medical emergency during our reception; Ann and her team were INCREDIBLE at handling this without disrupting the evening. We fell in love with Rosewood the first time we walked onto the property and we were sold on it as our wedding venue because of Ann’s incredible heart. Our wedding was absolutely amazing. As expected, things don't always go perfectly during a wedding (it was in the 90s for our ceremony!) - but that's precisely why Rosewood is perfect, because Ann is thoughtful, adaptable, and committed to making things work for you. She went above and beyond leading up to our wedding and on the day of to make sure things went flawlessly. She cares deeply about making sure events at Rosewood go well; her investment in her couples, her property (home, really), and business is really special. She was incredibly flexible in working with us to choose our own vendors - for an Indian wedding, this really gave us the ability to find caterers who had food offerings that fit our goals. It also let us find an awesome bartender and DJ that made the event particularly excellent. If Rosewood hadn't already been at her home, we would have simply invited Ann to be a guest at our wedding - because she is awesome and kind and generous. If you are looking for a flexible, outdoor venue with an amazing setting and even more amazing people, Rosewood is perfect choice. However, what sold me most was Ann (owner of the venue). She made me feel at home as I toured the venue. She provided all the information and freely answered all my questions. I especially loved her enthusiasm for being part of the wedding planning and executing process to make our day very special. I am very impressed with the way Ann and her husband Dan (and her staff) took care of everything during the wedding so that we did not have to stress about anything. I especially appreciated the golf cart ride service provided to my 90-year old father who could not walk. The tent makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into another area entirely. It is spacious and has just the right amount of accessories, allowing you to keep it simple or glam it up. Rosewood is the only venue we saw that included spacious, comfortable areas for both the bride and groom to get ready. The bridal cottage has everything you need to make your morning go smoothly. The groom’s quarters is a combination of relaxing and fun. There is plenty of space for everyone to get ready and spread out - a major plus for a wedding venue. The venue owner, Ann, is an awesome person who will truly make you feel at home on her property. From the day we met her, we knew we wanted to work with Ann. She is honest, approachable, kind, a problem solver, and so much more. Ann cares about your wedding and truly wants it to be the best day of your life. She has great attention to detail and handles so much behind the scenes so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We would highly recommend anyone searching for a venue to work with Ann and have your wedding at Rosewood Events.

ce our big day. Ann and her husband own the property and she’s extremely responsive and kind. She also allows a lot of flexibility with vendors - the only requirement is to have a planner from her list (and our planner honestly ended up being some of our best money spent for the entire wedding - she was amazing!). They include a lot at the site as well, including ceremony chairs, reception tables and chairs, wine barrels and a bar. The setting is also so beautiful that you can let it shine and be selective with your floral budget. Can’t say enough good things!

ue comes with a spacious tent with an ornate chandelier in the middle. Ann was very thoughtful to leave some decorations from a previous wedding up just for us, and it fit perfectly with our theme. While she has a spacious field and arbor where couples normally get married, we opted to get married under her willow tree with our smaller guest count. On the day, her husband Dan also took us and our photographer in a Polaris up to the top of the hills during golden hour to get some absolutely gorgeous shots. Thank you for our perfect day, Ann!

But...the reality is that there are many beautiful places, for me the thing that set this venue apart from any other is the team who makes it happen. Ann Reed and her entire staff are amazing and helpful and empathetic and so honoring of the bride and groom. If you can find an open date, be sure to book this soon!

erfect. Every portion of her venue is immaculate. If you visit during the winter, you can be guaranteed that the gardens will be blooming and blossoming for the spring and summer. No matter the weather or time of year, the property will give you everything you could ask for. The venue provides so many locations for stunning photos for yourself and your guests: gardens, cocktail hour area, willow trees, and golden rolling hills at sunset. Every corner is pristine and adds another layer of beauty everywhere you turn. All of our guests were so impressed and continue to talk about how beautiful the venue is. From beginning to end, Ann was so easy to work with. She provided priceless advice throughout all of our planning and during our wedding. Ann is dedicated to making your day perfect. She books just one wedding per weekend so you can be her entire focus. This also makes setup and take down stress free. The Rosewood crew is so efficient and smooth on the day of and put in so much work behind the scenes. We will be recommending Rosewood to all of our friends and family because we can't wait to return to the venue for a wedding!

Ann was thoughtful and proactive in addressing any potential issues that might have arisen (none did, thanks to her foresight). She was always readily available to answer my questions and to communicate directly with our wedding planner and other vendors to insure that everything went smoothly. Ann is so warm and caring and genuine, and I always felt she had our best interests at heart; she even checked in with me and my daughter periodically to make sure everything was going well. I really feel she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a venue owner. Her policy of having only one wedding per weekend reflects this. It was wonderful to be able to drop things off on Friday and pick things up on Sunday so that the wedding day itself was more relaxed and we didn't feel rushed in or out! The venue itself is gorgeous with fabulous views of rolling hills. My daughter knew as soon as she saw it that Rosewood was where she wanted to get married (and we had looked at MANY venues previously). Our guests also kept exclaiming how wonderful it was. It was great to have several different locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They are all close to one another but it was nice that people were able to move around from one to the other. That made it easy to mingle and contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Ann also made sure that one guest who needed help was taken from one area to the next by golf cart, yet another indication of how thoughtful and considerate she is. The tent itself (included! -- as were all the chairs, tables, bar, some signage and some bathroom items) was beautiful with a chandelier and string lights which helped create a lovely atmosphere. It was also great to have separate areas for the bride and groom and their attendants to get ready. One glam highlight for the bride and groom was the trip to the ridge for sunset pictures! I really cannot recommend Rosewood and Ann more highly. My daughter and son-in-law were absolutely thrilled with the wedding, as were my husband and I. Our experience here was nothing short of wonderful!

It's clear that she thinks a lot about the guest experience - and more importantly, the bride and groom's experience. The gorgeous tent is included, along with a ton of rentals - and the rentals aren't the generic type. Clean white folding chairs for the ceremony and beautiful cross-back chairs for the reception. It rained a bit during our cocktail hour, which was absolutely gorgeous, but it led to the ground being a bit wet. Ann was so helpful through that, offering to golf cart me to the bathrooms so that I didn't have to get my wedding gown wet. It's this and many other small touches along the way that made Rosewood the perfect venue for us. Thank you, Ann!!!

Not only is the property beautiful and tucked away, but the owner Ann is truly amazing and takes care of every couple that gets married there. She is always adding special touches to her property to make sure every couple has the best day of their lives there. She was very flexible and always available to chat and answer questions, especially in the uncertain and ever-changing times of covid. There are so many special touches including a cottage for both the bride and groom to get ready, the private hill for pictures, and the multiple areas for ceremony and cocktail hour, Rosewood is a dream in Petaluma. We are truly grateful for Rosewood and Ann and helping create our perfect wedding day!

but it had the most to offer. The gardens are so expansive, gorgeous, and well-manicured and there are so many different areas for our guests to enjoy. Other venues had more strict guidelines on what vendors would be allowed, which Rosewood assured us would not be the case. Additionally, the number of rentals needed at other venues far exceeded what we will require at Rosewood. Aside from the venue, Ann and Dan, the owners of the venue, could not be more helpful, knowledgeable, or dedicated. Ann took us on our tour, and I was almost brought to tears with the detailed descriptions given of throughout each segment of the tour. Ann gave us so many touching options that we would have for our day and added professional insight to assist with our planning. Ann has a way of giving you facts and advice without being pushy. As a couple who has no experience with planning a wedding, Ann’s advice was so appreciated. In addition to tips about planning, Ann was able to put both of our minds at ease with how seamlessly our day will run and the promise to be there for us on the big day. Ann and Dan are so dedicated to ensuring your day is perfect and it is very evident with the attention to detail seen around the venue. I cannot wait to write another review after our wedding date next fall. If you are thinking of having an outdoor ceremony in Sonoma County, you cannot beat Rosewood.

Nothing competes with the rolling hills and the space to create whatever wedding vision you have. I can’t wait for our special day because this estate is absolutely stunning alone and I can’t imagine what it will look like with all my wedding decorations.
