ered every question we could think of at any time, even down to table placements. The staff was incredible and I didn't have to coordinate or lift a finger the day of our wedding, the staff made sure everything was ready and fulfilled any request I had. The venue itself is beautiful and we got so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the place. The bridal cottage was amazing for me and my bridesmaids to hang out and get ready in. I would 1,000% recommend them to anyone; they made my wedding day perfect and super easy to plan.

mention about the grounds is the mulch can make it hard for elderly family members to walk to their seat, but the venue offers transport in a cart! The loss of star is mostly for the choice of certain vendors samuel cedars uses. To start, we chose this venue for the all-inclusiveness and affordability. Samuel cedars does multiple "open houses" to get to know vendors and explore the grounds. Which is really awesome!! However, multiple vendors that this venue utilizes pressured us to purchase more time than is included in the package. The DJ and multiple photographers uses pretty manipulating tactics to pressure me into spending more. As a bride who had just graduated graduate school, was just starting her first job, and was hesitant to throw down thousands of extra cash, this made the planning process a bit of a bummer. Shelby Chante specifically brought me to tears when I asked her if I could just do the hours included in the package and not purchase her $4,000 extra package. She had a very ugly attitude and stated "your grandchildren are going to look at these, you know that right?" I discussed this with the owner and I really hope she talked with her about this, bc it really put a bad taste in my mouth planning my special day. I was thinking about not mentioning it, but I also want other brides to not have to experience what I did, or at least brace yourself if you speak to this specific vendor. She may have had an extremely awful day, but she should not attended open house if this is the case. They do use Linda's Flowers for flowers and I want to say they blew us away with their bouquets and planning process!! The flowers were exquisite. The food offered is also very good, my family would not stop complementing it! Overall, no wedding experience will be perfect, and I would still definitely recommend this venue.

I know the owners of this company and have done business in the past. I would not trust all reviews. I am aware that Samuel Cedars does have multiple rehearsals and rehearsal nights and they allow one hour for each couple. I also know that when...

we used Samuel Cedars they stated in their contract that rehearsals were only outside and not inside. This was stated. Finally we were well aware that their package was for 150 people and that additional chairs were $1.50 per person. They really prefer to keep the inside chairs inside so that they are nicer. I would highly recommend Samuel Cedars and especially Dodi! They are a truly amazing business. If you have questions don't hesitate to call The owners for answers, especially if you see questionable reviews.

CT size and style, very clean, and the ceremony site is well groomed with breathtaking grounds. Out of all the places we looked they were the best priced for what you get! Quality is top notch. The vendors they recommend were beyond what I could have found on my own and they were always quick to respond to my questions. The only negatives that were not deal breakers are; we had to end reception by 10pm in order to be out by 11. They are overly picky about certain aspects of what you can use during ceremony.. but for good reason. The bridal room is quite small for an entire bridal party. You cannot set anything up the day prior. Those were really the only downsides. This venue is easy to find and they are so very well organized. I couldn't imagine a more perfect setting!

Beautiful place, but they kick you out a little early - I think 10 pm. The outdoor ceremony spot was very pretty and the deal they have with the dj is a steal. We chose somewhere else due to the early curfew but the was the main deal breaker....

choose to decorate the inside to make it a little more elegant and the outside is just a gorgeous setting. We hired Dodi to choreograph our ceremony and she was very professional. Alot of our other vendors would only talk to my mother in law and this ended up in me not getting what I wanted, but Dodi called me to discuss what I wanted before the wedding. She had everything written down and was organized and in control. I was very pleased with her services.
