e wanted her (and Jeremy) to photograph our special day because we could feel how genuine and passionate she is about her work. We wanted someone to capture not only the portraits, but all the moments in between... and that she did. The stars aligned and Sarah was able to photograph our engagement pictures in Southern California. Even though it was our first time getting professional pictures taken together, Sarah made us feel very relaxed in front of the camera. She guided us when needed, but also made it a point to allow us to interact organically as a couple. Our pictures were delivered really promptly and we received more than we had thought we would! You can tell how much Sarah cares about her clients and work because she not only asks for feedback, but also makes sure she understands every detail that you want captured on your special day. ired Sarah as the photographer for our wedding in September, and aside from getting to marry my best friend, meeting Sarah was easily the best takeaway of the whole wedding process! I searched in depth for photographers online about a year before our wedding, and aside from the gorgeous style of Sarah's photos, I was continually drawn back to the unique way that she was able to capture expressions and fleeting moments in her photography. I was absolutely overjoyed when I reached out and found out she was available for our wedding date! From the first meeting over Zoom, I felt a connection to Sarah on a soul level - she is just that genuine! Not to mention the incredible time she invested to learn about myself and my husband from a personal standpoint. Out of all the vendors we worked with, Sarah easily took the most care and attention in honoring and celebrating the story of our love together. The positive impact that Sarah had on the wedding planning itself, our engagement photo session, and the day of our event was absolutely invaluable. Both she and Jeremy have the most calming presence that put not only us, but all of our guests at ease as they captured the memories throughout the day. Jeremy was the second photographer, which enabled moments to be captured from multiple viewpoints, and he also took Polaroids of all our guests, which were a huge hit. Both our wedding ceremony and reception were outside, which left us surprised by a rainstorm, a rainbow, and everything in between! The day ended up being a whirlwind of emotions, so having Sarah and Jeremy as a calm, steadfast presence throughout the process was the best gift we could have asked for. They stayed until the very end of the night and were so patient as we squeezed out every last bit of creativity and fun that we could! And then the fun continued just a couple of weeks later when we scheduled a second session with Sarah in our wedding attire to take more photos at our venue since the day of the wedding flew by so quickly. Sarah went above and beyond with the time that she devoted to making our wedding photography dreams come true, and for that I will be forever grateful. When we received the photos just two short months later, we were brought to tears by the way they were able to capture every single moment of the day in great detail. The photos tell the entire story step by step, and have given us the opportunity to keep all of our memories of the day vivid in our minds, as well as fill in the gaps for the moments we missed the day of! We are now working with Sarah to create a wedding album from our day so we can have a tangible way to appreciate the art and beauty in each moment that was captured. We did engagement pictures with her last November and it was a great opportunity to get to know each other and get a feel for what our wedding day would be like with Sarah. I'm the MOST sentimental person so seeing our pictures now that include the apartment my husband and I live in during this chapter of our lives is just so special to me. She even took portraits of our dogs, and I'm already crying thinking of looking at them 30 years from now when they've moved on to the next life (downer, sorry lol, but the pictures really mean that much to me!). Somehow, she made the day look even more beautiful and perfect than it already felt, with all the joy captured in timeless stills. She caught the best of our families at our small garden micro-wedding, and working with her on our album was also so easy. She's so responsive to emails and suggestions! And when it came to album planning, we never felt like we were planning it alone, because she always came up with the best ideas that really reflected how she knew us as a couple, even in just the short time we worked together. She creates a draft, and then you work together to switch pictures in and out, and create an album that feels like YOU. Her photo album is perfect and SUCH amazing quality, I would highly highly recommend her to anyone, and to anyone working with her to purchase the album!

As soon as we got in the car, my mother said, "I don't care what she costs, we are hiring her." As she pointed out (mother's always know, don't they), if Sarah's calming genuine presence could so quickly and easily accept and accommodate him, she would be able to interact with all of our guests. (And likely also calm my extremely high nerves). Our wedding has gone from Plan A to B to C to D to...we still don't know when it will happen. Without me ever asking, Sarah took time to help me repeatedly replan our wedding during the stress of COVID. She literally spent hours redesigning our celebration and then redesigning it again without ever asking for additional compensation. When my father passed away, and we had to postpone the wedding yet again, she reacted with compassion and understanding. That's the best part of Sarah. She doesn't view you as a client. She sees you as a friend. We are fortunate that before COVID struck, Sarah took our engagement pictures. I expressed to her that I wanted them to be works of art, not the typical engagement pictures. When I saw the pictures, I cried. They are timeless, they are elegant, and they are true pieces of art. In a time when nothing about our wedding went according to plan, we will forever be thankful for our engagement pictures and the fun we had that day. Sarah has become so much more than a wedding photographer. We consider her part of our family. I know the pictures she takes when we are finally able to celebrate will be incredible. I have already begun to plan my maternity pictures, newborn pictures, 10th wedding anniversary pictures, the works--and I am confident that Sarah will be there to take all of them. I didn't know it was possible to have about 157 favorite photos, but she captured SO many wonderful little moments that all mean so much to me now that my wedding day is just a happy memory. We first fell in love with Sarah's work because it seemed like she had an uncanny ability to snap pictures at just the right moment to capture that look, that feel, that made you feel like you were right there. Looking at most candid photos, I eventually tend to get bored and just start skimming through the pictures, even if it is my own family and friends. Looking at Sarah's portfolio, I found myself drawn into the photos, even though I was laughing and crying along with complete strangers. Her work is so authentic and that is something that sets her apart from every other wedding photographer that I've seen! She and Jeremy felt like they were a part of the family immediately and I have not stopped getting complements about our gorgeous wedding photos! Sarah is also the nicest and easiest person to work with! She put everyone at ease and wasn't bossy or brusque with anyone while trying to take the posed shots like I have seen from other weddings that I have been in. Even just thinking about the photos makes me glow with happiness with how everything turned out. Sarah and Jeremy are worth every penny and she will be our photographer for life!
