Eric was absolutely wonderful and really made our day so special. Not only did we love his online tool for pre picking songs, we also loved that at different parts of the night he would check in on us and make sure we were having the best time. He also went above and beyond by getting additional pics for us and when we woke up the day after the wedding, he had already sent us his blog post for our wedding, our playlist, and pics! Neither my husband nor I are big music people so heading into the wedding, this wasn’t a vendor we were particular about. Eric is bar none the best DJ we've ever encountered. He's so friendly and easy to work with at every step along the way. He was the DJ at our friends wedding and when it came time for our wedding we knew who we were going to pick. It's not even just the DJ stuff (which of course he's great) but it's all the small stuff he does that really sets him in his own class. From capturing candid photos all night, creating a blog about our wedding, sending us our playlist, helping organize our timeline, and so much more. I could not have been happier with Eric! We hired Eric for our wedding back on 9/3/22. Eric was very caring and involved in each step of the planning process to make sure that our day was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Our wedding was not super "traditional" and Eric was very helpful with helping find the perfect song choices for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. He made sure that the flow of the wedding transitioned and went smoothly. Eric has a super fun attitude and did a great job announcing the bridal party and got everyone excited. When it was time to get everyone on the dancefloor Eric did an amazing job of playing songs that had everyone dancing and he did not take a single break! I was concerned with sound quality because our wedding was at the Pennsylavnian which is challenging acoustically, and Eric knew how to place speakers in a way that ensured sound carried evenly throughout the space. Eric truly goes above and beyond for his couples and I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding. He listens, helps with the planning and is a top-tier professional.

Eric came highly recommended to us by friends that used his services a few years back, and hiring him was honestly the best decision we made for our wedding day. From the moment my now-husband Jon reached out to Eric, he was so full of energy and so kind. We set up a zoom call to chat with him before booking, and as soon as we hung up the call, Jon and I simultaneously said that we loved him and we needed him for our day. I don't know about anyone else, but I was told during our planning process that no one would put the care into our wedding day that we would, and though I do understand, I have to call BS on that because Eric had made Jon & I feel like we were all the mattered for not only the day of, but the several weeks leading up to the wedding. He was so on top of every single detail! He followed up with us about a month prior and we discussed some songs that we wanted to hear and what we were thinking for the rest of the evening.. He was the biggest hype-man and started each of his emails with a countdown to our day! (this is very cool- it might seem small, but it's reassuring to know that your vendors are excited to share your day with you). We had joked that my emotions days out from the wedding were "internally chaotic" and Eric played a huge part in helping to calm my worries. Our wedding day was an absolute dream. Not because it was "perfect" or even anything extravagant, but because we were surrounded by people that loved us and that were rooting for us, and we could truly feel that energy throughout the entire room.. we have Eric to thank! He was genuinely happy to be celebrating with us, and our guests new it! As I had mentioned earlier, we did give Eric a few must-play songs, but otherwise it was all him! He read the room, got our guests dancing, and totally surpassed any expectations we had. We had him as our DJ, but he was so much more! He was a photographer (seriously, some incredible photos and videos of some really special moments that we may not be able to revisit otherwise), our wedding coordinator (the day ran so smoothly because he stayed on top of every single detail, and talked through the day with me all 10 times I sent up an updated timeline.. lol), and now he is a friend. I can recall several moments throughout the evening that Eric checked on Jon and I and made sure we were doing okay and asked if we needed anything. Even after our wedding day, we've kept in touch and he still continues to hype us up! I've had so many guests reach out and say kind things about the wedding, and every single one has made it a point to compliment Eric. There are so many details from our day that I'll always remember, and Eric is to thank for so many of them. There's truly no better DJ in the world (I'm guessing, but I'm probably right). So do yourself a favor and hire Eric/Schiemer Entertainment! It'll be the best decision you make, I promise!

Eric is the BEST! He dj-ed our wedding and was such a pleasure to work with; so friendly, quick to respond to emails, and very well-organized with an easy-to-use online system for compiling any songs we wanted to use. And, just as important, he did an amazing job the day of! Everything sounded great, and our guests were on the dance floor all night. We truly got so many compliments on the reception music! Eric also did a great job of emceeing, covering all the announcements we needed (like announcing the bridal party into the reception, mentioning shuttles toward the end of the evening, etc.) without making it feel like interruptions in the party. And to top it all off, he sent us a slideshow and some great pictures from the wedding! I really can't recommend Eric enough!!

The guests at our wedding never left the dance floor! I can not recommend Eric enough, he was good at communicating, detailed, checked in with us throughout the night and we are so glad he could be such a big part of our day! He was the Dj for our friends wedding last year and after dancing our butts off at that wedding we knew we had to Book him for ours - and we are so glad we did. We had a lot of dancers in our group and when they started chanting “one more song” at the end of the reception (which we told Eric we would not need a one more haha) - even though we did not prepare him for this he picked a great one more song choice for everyone to enjoy! The guest loved it!! As someone who loves dancing at weddings - it was important to us to get a good Dj that gets everyone on the dance floor. Eric was absolutely it - I couldn’t have imagined the day without him. Thank you times a million!!!!!

We LOVED working with Eric! He has so much personality and made our planning sessions with him so much fun. He totally met our vibe and was so understanding of exactly what we wanted. He has a website where you build your "must play" would like to hear" and "do not play" playlists along with selecting the songs for every big moment. He allows you to add notes and he pays attention to all of your details. He also is great at editing music, he cut our first dance, entrance song, and mother/son dance to include the parts of the songs we wanted flawlessly and without requiring any extra fees. He understood what we meant when we said he could take requests but to run anything that seemed out of place or not our vibe by us. He was reading the room all night and very quick on his feet. At one point, late in the night, my parents joined me on the dance floor and when I asked him "can you play one more song they'll like to dance to" with about 10 seconds left of the song that was currently on, he pulled it off! He waited until we were on the dance floor to play our "must play" songs so we didn't miss any of the songs we couldn't imagine our night without. As an added bonus, he was taking pictures from his perspective all night. He told us he would be doing this, but we didn't expect them to come out as great as they did! He captured so many funny moments with our friends that happened after our photographer left for the night.

Eric was easily one of the best vendors of our wedding day! We connected from our first meeting, and as we approached the day, we appreciated his hands-off but thorough approach to making sure our day was perfect. Being very much type A, I loved the portal he used and its inclusion of all our key moments, proper pronunciation of all our last names (we have some tough ones!), and the customizable timeline based on our songs. On our actual wedding day, Eric hit it out of the park - the music was so on point, and he was willing to roll with the punches as friends requested songs throughout the night. There was never a dull moment on the dance floor! We also really appreciated his tact with being a stellar DJ but not speaking over the music and interrupting the moment. He was on the dance floor at opportune times to make sure my husband and I were having a good time and approved of song choice, which was above and beyond. He also took fantastic photos / videos the whole night, and he was kind enough to collate these memories and share them with us for the future. Eric is extremely thoughtful, respectful, and just an outright excellent DJ. HIGHLY recommend him for anyone's wedding!

The absolute BEST. Hands down. Eric has been a pleasure to work with for our wedding. He listens to what you want and makes planning the music for your wedding as hands on, or hands off, as you want it to be. He's so kind and goes out of his way to make your day perfect (a great example was how much he practiced the pronunciation of our bridal party's names). We even had some crazy requests from our parents including merging two songs AND incorporating my dad singing into our first dance songs and Eric didn't think twice about going above and beyond. Outside of making sure the party is amazing, he also photographs throughout the night, which I appreciated as he caught some of the best moments of the night after the photographer left. Within one day, he had sent us a highlight reel on YouTube that we will cherish forever. We had a very unique situation where the groom had to be taken to the ER for a stomach issue mid-reception, but Eric kept the party going and was so accommodating of our situation. Eric truly is one of a kind! He made sure our reception was the best of the best! He took the time to get to know us and made our wedding playlist exactly what we wanted. He is great at what he does and knows how to keep the party going all night long. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

I cannot recommend Eric enough! He did our entire wedding - from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to the dancing at the end. He made the entire process so easy and put both myself and my now husband at ease the whole time. He’s extremely professional and will make sure that your day goes as smoothly as possible. Eric is AMAZING – Where do we even start with how amazing he is?! From the moment we first met Eric, we knew he had to be a part of our day. His energy and positivity are unmatched and he truly cares that his couples have an amazing reception. Throughout the planning process, Eric was extremely responsive, provided his honest opinion when asked and just made us so excited leading up to the wedding with his enthusiasm, even if we were going through hard pandemic times. He was more than happy to have multiple planning meetings with us leading up to the wedding day and really listened to what was important to us. His awesome online planning tool also made it extremely easy for us to create the timeline, decide on special dances, etc. On the day of the wedding, he was timely, energetic, and so ready to have a great time! He was also reassuring and a positive voice in times of chaos right before our ceremony when it wasn’t set up properly by the venue. He truly went above and beyond and we can’t thank him enough! Our bridal party had a last-minute change to our entrances, and he quickly pivoted and accommodated, and was so happy to do so! The entire reception ran smoothly because of Eric. He was phenomenal and our dance floor was full the entire night. We had several people ask for his contact info and we have family members that have already booked him for their weddings! One of the best things Eric does is he takes his own pictures throughout the reception, some of which are my favorite from the night! He creates a list of all of the songs played, a photo slideshow and sends all of the photos to you afterwards. It was such a great surprise to relive the night the day after through his photos! This review doesn’t even do justice to just how amazingly wonderful Eric is. He truly goes above and beyond, cares so much and is just an amazing person all around. Booking Eric was the best decision we made and I can’t imagine our wedding without him!

Eric was so easy to work with during the planning process, always responsive to calls and emails, and we really enjoyed speaking with him during our final planning meeting – he totally got us. THE BEST DJ EVER! I found Eric through a friend who got married years ago and I remember what a good time we had, so I reached out to him to DJ my wedding - best decision ever! It's super hard to find a DJ ( I think), but you will not regret hiring Eric. He really listens to what you want your day to be and the planning portal you use is extremely helpful and easy to use. You can tell he truly loves what he does, it shows in every way! He even took some pictures at our wedding and sent them to me, so sweet! A true gem to work with. I found Eric through one of my friends who was also engaged at the same time as me. She said she had seen him at one of her friends weddings and he was the best DJ she ever saw at a wedding and he was the first vendor she booked for her own wedding. With that glowing recommendation, I reached out to Eric and was so glad he was available for my wedding date! I would recommend him to anyone. He is very communicative, not just leading up to the wedding, but on the wedding day as well to make sure the timing of things is going well, etc. He has a website that makes it so easy to input any songs you want played and you can also rate different genres on a scale of how much you want a particular type of music to be played. I had a few songs listed for cocktail and dinner music, and he did a great job of filling in the gaps with similar music. He was energetic and the dance floor was full all night. After the wedding, he sends a list of all of the songs he played in order for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, which is such a nice keepsake to have to reminisce on the day. He also takes AWESOME photos and videos that he puts in a slideshow and sends a USB to you! Since we don't have our photos back from the photographer yet, it is so nice to have these photos almost instantly! The quality of the photos is incredible. It is especially nice to have a lot of pictures from the reception because our photographer didn't stay the entire night. If you are thinking of booking Eric for your wedding, this is your sign to reach out to him! You will not be disappointed!

I’ve literally never left a review for anything in my life (vendor, bar, restaurant, Amazon product). This needs to be my first. Eric brought the house down at our wedding. The journey was nearly as fun as the actual wedding. I’m serious. I do honestly feel bad for our videographer and photogrsiver because the DJ just went above and beyond and proceeded to take THE BEST PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ON PLANET EARTH. Eric was an incredibly important and very special part of our very special day. He’s the best.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Eric. He was amazing to work with, always quick to respond and always willing to help in any way possible. He was perfect for our day and kept the dance floor full the entire night. We even had a power outage for over an hour (no fault to Eric, it was a venue issue) and Eric was only down for about 5 mins (it was so quick I didn't even know), and the party just kept on rolling. He provided us with amazing pictures and a video to remember our perfect day. He did everything like we discussed and was perfect! He is truly the best. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Eric is THE BEST! He was the DJ at my daughter’s wedding and was mine as well when I got married in August. He’s so much more than a DJ, he’s like family. His website allows you to give him the type of music that you’d like for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and for the dance floor. Eric was the dj at our wedding on 8/21/21. From ceremony to the last song at the reception everything was perfect. He kept everyone on the dance floor - which is exactly what we wanted! Our crowd can get a little rowdy but he kept up and was professional the entire time. Definitely would recommend him to anyone getting married looking to have a great time!

Eric DJed my sister's wedding and was so beyond fabulous that he was the first vendor we had to lock down the day after we got engaged - and, undoubtedly, he did not disappoint! Not only does he bring the party and such a positive, calming presence, but he goes above and beyond what is typically expected of a wedding DJ. From the very start, his process was nothing short of seamless - his website is user-friendly and it allows you to provide ceremony/reception details and "must play"/"maybe play"/"do not play" songs at your leisure. Eric set up a touchbase prior to the big day where we talked through specifics and then he sent through his own detailed timeline later that evening. We also had some surprises for my mom sprinkled in, and he made sure to keep those off of any timelines or emails that included her -- he was on it, and she was so surprised during the wedding! He arrived early to set up/test out some day-of lighting options we discussed and facilitate all the necessary ceremony audio connections with other vendors (videographer, venue coordinators, etc.). He kept my husband and I in the know throughout the reception and didn't move on to the next activity without making sure we were ready - something crucial when you're in the blur and excitement of a 200+ person reception! When the open dance floor started, I don't think anyone was at his/her seat for the rest of the night - it was so much fun! Eric kept the party going and incorporated fun uplighting sequences sophistically all night! At the end of the night, he packed up and stuck around to tell us how much fun he had - that wasn't the end of his services though. The next day, he shared a blog post he made about our day, an entire album of photos he captured throughout the dance floor party, and a teaser video of those photos to our first dance song. Above and beyond! But that's not all.. we went on a two-week honeymoon to the Maldives and when we returned to our non-PA residence, there was a personalized card from Eric with a flash drive of all of the photos he captured waiting for us. I can't recommend him enough - we tell everyone that the first thing to do after getting engaged is to reach out to Eric. He's the best around!

5 MILLION STARS for Eric. I had my wedding at the PPG Wintergarden and we could not have had a more perfect night. As soon as the father daughter dance was over, we had a packed dance floor all night! If you aren't hiring Eric for your DJ, you are doing something wrong. He also sends a slide show and pictures which is just above and beyond! We could not have been happier with our DJ!

Eric was amazing to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He was everything we wanted our DJ to be. We created our own playlists, but Eric ordered the songs perfectly. He was the best combination of bringing energy to the dance floor and not being too involved. His flow of the reception was great and we loved how he took the lead but asked for our input and let us know when we were transitioning into the next thing. To top it all off, he made us an awesome slideshow from the pictures he took, which was so great to see the next day. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

Eric was truly the most incredible DJ we could have ever asked for on our wedding day. There was a never a day he wasn’t available to help or if we needed to pick his brain for some playlist ideas, he was always just a quick phone call, email, or meeting away! His upbeat and optimistic personality made wedding planning and playlist picking fun — even during a pandemic! Leading up to our big day he made sure to thoroughly run through our event and the details with us and our wedding planner to make sure everything was just how we wanted and envisioned it to be. Throughout our wedding day he checked in with both of us to make sure things were going well, we were having fun, and additionally asked if there was anything he could do for us. There was not a moment the dance floor wasn’t packed! I cannot tell you enough how many compliments we received from our wedding guests and also other vendors on how much everyone enjoyed him and his services! Needless to say Eric was extremely pleasant and fun to work with from start to finish. To top it all off, we were head over heels with happiness when he emailed us photos and a slideshow/video he put together of moments he had captured throughout the wedding day. It was so fun to see those moments the next day! We simply cannot thank Eric enough for making all of our wedding dreams come true! He was such pleasure to work with!

Eric did two of my best friend’s weddings (one of them is one of my bridesmaids) in the past and so we felt very comfortable hiring him as our DJ. I booked Eric in November of 2019 for our wedding in October of 2020 before the word Covid even existed. Once all of the restrictions were put in place we knew we didn't have a choice but to postpone to 2021. I contacted all of my vendors (14) of them and I had no problems switching our date or cancelling with a return of deposit. When I contacted Eric he didn't have our new date available, which was very disappointing. Eric did explain that if he had the date available that he would switch it without a problem. Unfortunately, the dates he had did not match what our venue or other vendors had available. Because of this Eric kept our $500.00 deposit. We wrote him an email nicely asking if he would be willing to give any of the deposit back but he declined. Working for a small family owned business myself reputation is everything and sometimes you have to keep your customers happy to keep your reputation. We understand that this is an unprecedented situation but we were hoping that a little more kindness would be shown for something that was out of our control.

Eric is so amazing!! He was recommended to us by a friend and we are SO glad we booked him! Eric is so kind and upbeat. It was apparent to use from the first time we spoke to him that he was exactly who we wanted to DJ our wedding. He has a wonderful, positive energy all around him. We got married in September 2020. Due to COVID-19, many of our plans changed. Eric was so accommodating and positive throughout. Every time we spoke to him, he was reassuring and enthusiastic. We always felt more relaxed after talking to Eric during the very stressful time of re-planning. Eric’s music selection at the wedding was absolutely spot on. He read the room and played music that everyone enjoyed and that was appropriate for the energy at that given time. He put together a special compilation of songs by my favorite artist to play at the wedding. It was an absolute HIT! Everyone enjoyed it and couldn’t stop talking about it! Eric is also a very talented photographer. He took beautiful photos at the wedding. Most photographers leave shortly after dinner, so it was so wonderful to have photo coverage of the entire night thanks to Eric! We received nothing but compliments from our guests on how wonderful, fun, and kind our DJ was. I am already thinking of parties we can have in the future just so we can book Eric again!! We can’t say enough how much we love Eric!!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Eric is! Our guests never stopped dancing, and I had lots of people say it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. He made the planning process easy and great, especially during COVID. He answered emails and calls right away and gave his honest opinion on everything. Our guests had a blast!! He even took some of my favorite pictures from our wedding day and created a beautiful monogram that made our tent look so pretty. I can't recommend Eric Schiemer enough!

We were so excited to have Eric as our DJ, but we ultimately had to cancel our wedding because of COVID. Eric was great throughout the process. He actually reached out to us to see how we were doing early on before we had cancelled. His online music planner is also great. Once I let him know we were cancelling, he sent us a list of the songs we uploaded which was a nice gesture. I hope we'll get the chance to work with Eric sometime in the future!
