Clare is incredibly talented! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and created exactly the look I had imagined! All of my bridesmaids loved her and were so happy with their makeup as well. Everyone really looked like the most beautiful versions of themselves! Her work obviously speaks for itself, but Clare also is incredibly professional, responsive, reassuring, collaborative, and dependable. It was just so refreshing to not have to worry about anything leading up to the day – I knew she would be there, be on time, be efficient, and do a phenomenal job. She was so fun and calming to have there on my wedding morning! She even accommodated my trial for the morning of my bridal shower! I would 1000% recommend her to everyone!

Clare is truly the best in Pittsburgh. Although she is capable of doing more soft glam looks, I chose a more full glam look for my wedding day. She is able to use reference photos, but I truly just told her which components of my makeup are most important to me and she created the most beautiful bridal look for me! In all honesty, I am very picky about my hair/makeup and Clare made me feel at complete ease from first meeting her. I am used to over explaining myself to make sure things are perfect, but she needed little to no detail from me to understand what I was looking for. We did a trial the morning of my bridal shower and recreated the look (but a little more in-depth) for my big day. She blew my expectations out of the water for my wedding day. Not only that but the makeup stayed on an entire 14 hour day in June. Clare simply can not be topped.

Clare is truly an expert at her craft! She somehow managed to do our entire party of 9 with everyone looking flawless, staying exactly on schedule with a smile on her face! She is professional, responsive, sweet and SO good at what she does. We started makeup early on a sunny August day and every time I would look in the mirror to fix my makeup I was shocked to see that it looked just as amazing as it did first thing in the morning and didn't have to touch it all night. Everyone loved their look and she really does enhance your natural beauty while still looking like yourself on your wedding day. I used my trial for my engagement pictures which was really great to see how the makeup would look in pictures and if we wanted to change anything. I would absolutely recommend for any future bride - you will be so happy with how she makes you feel!

Clare is a true professional. Her process in terms of booking and communication from the beginning was so easy! The morning of the wedding, she was booked to do 10 girls' make up on her own, which is a lot! From the second she walked in the door, she was so efficient with her set up and was able to get everyone done on schedule for the wedding. Not only that, but even 12+ hours later, the makeup looked like it was freshly done and fully intact!

Claire was simply amazing! For my trial, she worked around my being in town and was able to have me for my trial the same day I was scheduled for my hair trial. It helped so much to see it all together! The morning of, she was very patient with the two moms who have never had their makeup done, along with helping with the order of the morning. My makeup held up the entire night - tears, sweat from dancing, and all! She also was SO quick the morning of!

Clare is incredible!! I reached out to Clare less than 2 months before our wedding day and she was nothing short of amazing and accommodating on such short notice. I wanted to do my trial on the day of my bridal shower. Although Clare had a wedding already booked that day, she went above and beyond and offered to do my make up at the crack of dawn, before the wedding started! My room was a bit hectic that day and we didn’t follow the order we planned, but Clare was flexible, adapted and even calmed my nerves a bit. I had never had my makeup done before and was a bit nervous about looking overdone on my wedding day. But I felt really good about booking with Clare because all the brides I saw on her Instagram looked very natural with just a little oomph! She created the perfect look that worked with both my Indian ceremony dress and my white reception dress, and it lasted all day and night long (we got married at noon and were partying til 2am!). We got ready in the bridal suite at The Pennsylvanian and had the full range: women who always wore makeup, women who never wear makeup, women who know exactly how they want their makeup to look. And Clare was so understanding and patient with all of us. A few of us had been bridesmaids in other girls weddings and have always had a problem with our foundation matching; not an issue with Clare! She matched all of our foundation perfectly! I feel extremely lucky to have worked with Clare for my wedding- she really is the best. Of course, my skin became really dry and irritated a couple days before the wedding and I was NOT feeling confident. Clare came highly recommended to me as a makeup artist when I was looking for my wedding makeup. AND SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Due to COVID, we had to postpone our large wedding but Clare was so accomodating to do my makeup and my maid of honor's makeup for my small wedding this year. I did not do a makeup trial and just told her to do her "traditional Clare look". (See her instagram and you'll see). WOW!! She made my skin look flawless and my skin is not great because I have large pores and acne breakouts. My eye makeup and lipstick were also stunning and the makeup did not move! WOW! Clare was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish and she is extremely talented when you hand her a makeup brush! This bride right here owes A LOT to See Jane Blush. Unfortunately, I became quite sick the day before my wedding. Therefore, the canvas I gave Clare to work with was probably not the best she had ever seen! I was tired, dehydrated, and drawn, but Clare made me feel beautiful, confident, and magical. On the ONE day I needed to be the best me, Clare is one of the main reasons I was able to be that girl when just 12 hours prior I did not think it was possible. Your face becomes her artwork. And wow… what a lucky thing that is to be. Never in my life have I felt as beautiful as Clare made me feel. She listens to what you want, analyzes every inspiration picture you show her, and makes sure that you feel perfect before you get out of her chair. She is SO clean and everything is sanitized immaculately. She even gifted me with the lipstick she picked for me so I could reapply throughout the day! Clare is so incredibly talented. I was so excited to have her do my makeup for my sister's wedding because I've been following her work for YEARS. I gave her next to no direction (as I know nothing about makeup) and I honestly don't think my face has ever looked better. Clare was a dream to work with! The moment we met for my makeup trial, I knew she was so sweet and a true professional in her field. She asked questions before the trial that I wouldn’t even think to ask in terms of wedding makeup (I.e.: wedding colors, style of my dress, theme of the wedding, overall vision). Clare is incredibly talented, kind, and easy to work with - I highly recommend her! Clare was amazing and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She provided makeup for 8 of us total - across BMs, moms, and sisters - all on her own and ahead of schedule! I loved that everyone came out with a polished but natural look (and she was also able to pivot the day-of and do an amazing 40's glam look for my sister!). I greatly appreciated her professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility as well. When I decided I did not like something from the trial, there was zero defensiveness when I brought it up - Clare was instead 100% focused on what needed to change to get the look I wanted. And the day of, when rain forced my outdoor wedding indoors and I answered the hotel door in tears, she was empathetic and gave me and my BM's all the space needed to process / re-center on the day.....even though that meant entirely re-arranging the make-up schedule on the spot. (And did I mention we still wrapped up make-up early? Amazing). In short-- loved the make-up, loved the professionalism, and would highly recommend to any bride!

Clare is an amazing & really talented make up artist! She is also super easy to work with. She was able to fit me in easily for a trial and really listened to what I wanted. My make up was everything I wanted- my skin looked flawless, eye shadow and lashes were gorgeous - and yet I still looked like myself. That was my husbands biggest concern was not recognizing me and after my trial he was so happy to see what an amazing job she did! She also was able to all 11 of us and touch ups in amazing time. Some of my bridesmaid did airbrush too - and she made everyone look their absolute best! I would hire her to do my makeup everyday - so you definitely need her on your big day!

Clare was absolutely perfect - she was amazing with her follow up and straight to the point. Wow, where do I begin?? Clare was of the best vendor decisions I made. I had a small bridal party with only two bridesmaids. However, I would have paid the solo price to have her services though. As many others have said, she provides a free trial, comes to most sites without a travel fee, and includes lashes and airbrushing at no extra charge. Those were all things I was looking for. The price I paid was much cheaper than most salons or independent makeup artists I looked into. She is really easy to talk to and listened to all my concerns and requests. I looked exactly how I wanted to and felt more beautiful than ever on my wedding day. We made a few changes between the trial and the wedding, and it still turned out amazing both ways. She was even willing to work out of my parents’ garage day of the wedding. My bridesmaids were also very pleased with her work, and my one bridesmaid who is Asian and doesn’t wear much makeup felt comfortable that Clare could address her wishes without concern based on pictures of past work. I am looking for an occasion to have her do my makeup again. Thanks so much Clare!!!

I absolutely loved working with Clare. She did an amazing job on me and my bridal party. None of us wear a lot of makeup and were really concerned with having overly thick and dramatic makeup. Clare of See Jane Blush was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning! I will recommend her to every single bride out there for years to come. She has this way of making you look all dolled up, but not in an over-done kind of way. The best way to describe it is that she truly just enhances your features. I am SO happy I went with See Jane Blush for my wedding makeup! Clare did an amazing job with making myself, my mothers and bridesmaids look perfect. We had some different styles and expectations to manage - my mom and mother-in-law don't wear a lot of makeup and wanted to look natural, a few of my bridesmaids are very into makeup so expected a little more glam, and I wanted something in between. Everyone was really happy and comfortable with how they looked, and I've honestly never felt more beautiful. Our wedding day was also one of the hottest days in October, and as someone who sweats I was really worried about how my makeup would hold up all day and night. Luckily I went for my trial on an equally hot and humid day, so she was able to figure out the right formula that really did stay put until the end of the night! Clare was also super easy and professional to work with from beginning to end. I did a lot of research and comparison before going with her, and she is by far the most affordable vendor with equal (or better!) high quality makeup and service you'd find anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding ASAP, you won't be disappointed!

I’m extremely happy I went with See Jane Blush for my wedding makeup. After looking into a few salons for makeup and seeing how expensive they were I decided to look at just makeup artists. There were several reasons I chose Clare. First, her prices were cheaper than any of the salons I looked at. If you are within a certain mileage she doesn’t charge for onsite. All the salons I looked at did. Second, she gives you a free trial!! I hated having to spend an extra $65 on my hair trial when I was already spending $100 on the day of style. I don’t know any place that gives free hair or makeup trials. Third, she doesn’t charge extra for airbrush although I didn’t use it and lashes are included! Lastly, Clare is overall a great person to work with and is easy to talk to and even threw in a mini lipstick so I could do a more bold lip for the rehearsal.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Clare did my bridal makeup, in addition to the makeup for my 4 bridesmaids. We all have VERY different makeup styles. She listened to each of our preferences and made us all feel and look beautiful! Everyone’s makeup looked incredible. I was especially concerned about my chest being red and blotchy (which happens when I get emotional or nervous… not a good look for wedding pictures). After relaying this to Clare, she suggested airbrushing, which worked wonders! My makeup was perfect the whole day, even after tears and rain. Clare is calm, quick, efficient, and professional. All of which were greatly appreciated on our tight schedule the morning of my wedding. She is awesome at answering any and all questions throughout the whole process-- from booking to your wedding day. I cannot recommend Clare and See Jane Blush enough. Your makeup is such an important part of your wedding day and Clare absolutely nails it. Do yourself a favor and book her!

Highly HIGHLY Recommend Clare! I cannot gush enough about how amazing Clare is. I am not the biggest make up fan-- on a daily basis I wear very minimal make up. I was nervous that I would look like an overdone clown with a ton on-- but Clare completely eased my worries. I wanted an enhanced, but natural look, for my wedding day (for myself, my bridesmaids, and my Momma) and Clare did just that. Clare arrived early, set up, and got right to work. She was able to get all 9 of us done EARLY, which eased my worried mind and helped with my wedding timeline. I felt FLAWLESS and light, not weighed down by a ton of product, and I felt like I was the prettiest bride in the world (which is how everyone should feel). The make up also stayed on for the entire wedding day and I woke up feeling glamorous due to the gorgeous fake eyelashes. I absolutely loved Clare! I am reminiscing today on my wedding (which was a year ago)and I am if not sure I posted a review then but wanted to make sure I give Clare the credit she deserves! My makeup was absolutely perfect. I have little experience with makeup hence do not wear a ton and I felt Clare made me look so natural.
