Bill is the perfect balance between scientist and artist as a photographer. His technical skills in finding the correct lighting and shooting modes combined with his ability to generate creative and artistic shots and work a crowd have allowed him to carve out a unique space in an otherwise crowded wedding market. Bill’s traditional packages were over our budget, but he worked with us to create a customized package that was perfect for capturing our wedding day. Both before and after the wedding, Bill was prompt, professional and friendly in responding to questions and delivering results. His wife, Laura, is a triple threat, serving as his assistant, our ceremony officiate, and photo-booth operator and excelling in all three roles. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day personal, fun, and wrinkle-free. Bill himself was a huge hit with my bridal party and guests, who he made feel comfortable and at ease while also helping them look and feel their best. The Blitz Dog photo booth was a great addition to the atmosphere of the reception, providing hours of entertainment to our guests and a great take-home souvenir. Laura handed me an entire album of photo booth strips as we were leaving the reception- talk about instant gratification! The true testament to Select Photography’s value, however, is the quality of the end result – the photographs that will be hanging in our home for years to come. Within hours of waking up the day after our wedding, I had dozens of gorgeous photographs in my inbox and friends were tagging themselves on Facebook before I knew it. Just weeks later, I had hundreds more high quality, professionally edited photographs each one more beautiful than the next. From candids to sunset photos, black and whites and formal family pictures, Bill captured every moment in perfect detail, allowing me to relive portions of the day that I had forgotten and experience the special moments that I missed.

I would have given them 6 stars if possible! From our first meeting to the engagement pictures to the day of the event, we could not be happier! The pictures are amazing! You know they're good when everyone says, "Oh you're so photogenic" and you know in your heart that a comment like that is far from correct but that you just had a good photographer. In addition, the Select Photography team turned out to be an integral part of our wedding day by not only taking photos, but of keeping the event moving and on track. They even did my dress bustle for me because my MOH and mother were off in lala land somewhere!

WOW....where do I begin. Bill is a wonderful photographer! He is patient, kind, honest and the list goes on. Laura (his wife) is a blast and they make a wonderful husband & wife team!!! They made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. He dosent require the service to be paid in full at time of booking which is more budget friendly. The amount to reserve the date is minimal and acceptable for everyone budget. The engagement session was done at a park in fall and went perfect. He took a ton of photos and still planned to do more but due to an emergency on my behalf we had to leave. When we went to do the save the dates with him I had a change of heart on color but that didnt stop him. He took pictures right then and there at his studio and came up with elegant save the date maganets! (This was just the begining of his flexablity) He came to the wedding rehersal to make sure that he meet the venue staff and arrange where his equipment would go. While there he also took pictures of us getting things together. On the day of the wedding he was there bright and early to start getting everything set up and to get detail shots. He thinks of everything! Laura is fabulous and we loved her! You can tell she has been at this awhile with Bill as she shows up with this case full of things - just incase. This is similar to those emergency kits for the big day. She is there getting the pictures of getting ready and all the before fun with the girls. Once the group/family photos start she is there to help fix dresses, hair and anything else that pops up. I was able to see some photos within a week of the wedding and they are great! I'm looking forward to seeing all of the photos (it has only been two weeks since the wedding). THANK YOU BOTH FOR ALL OF THE FUN AND WONDERFUL PICTURES! As a repeat customer (Bill took both my and my brother's senior pictures), I cannot rave about Select Photography enough!!! Bill was great to work with and met with my mom, as I was planning from out-of-state. I was determined to stick as close to my budget as possible, so I opted for the most basic package. However, this still included a few extras not listed for no extra charge! Since our venue was a private family residence, Bill came out to see the property and take our engagement photos. (A short "30-minute session" lasted almost 2 hours!) The day of the wedding, Bill showed up earlier than my bridesmaids and me, took a few shots of Mt. Rainier and got set-up. His wife Laura also came, which was wonderful. They work very well together! Laura helped not only take candid photos, but get boutonnieres on the guys, my dress laced up, and my great-grandmother's pearls wrapped around my bouquet when the strand broke as I was trying to clasp it around my neck. She even used pins to fix broke stems in our bouquets. Bill was great with photos. He had so many great ideas, and I could tell he had many more that we just ran out of time for. Our venue was very close to Mt. Rainier and we had a spectacular view on the big day. Bill watched the light and pulled us off the dance floor for a couple great sunset shots! They are stunning!! Even my skeptical bridesmaid, whose father is a photographer in Wisconsin, thought Bill was spot on with his choices. Bill also convinced my (frugal) dad that a photobooth was worthwhile. I was skeptical, but both Bill and my dad proved me wrong when it was the biggest hit at the party!! I was amazed at how inter-generational it was! Worth every penny. I knew the photographs of our wedding were going to be one of the big-money items because I didn't think a videographer was worth it. Comparing Select Photography's offerings with other area photographers, you definitely get the most for your money. You also get to work with a couple with wicked senses of humor and a good balance of fun and seriousness. Thank you, Bill and Laura, for making our day the best ever! And thank you Bill for taking a "silly" picture of my extended family even if it made you roll your eyes- It's one of my favorites! Bill and Laura were amazing to work with for my wedding. I met with Bill several times before the big and he was always ready with information and at ease which made me feel like my photographer was not someone I needed to worry about showing up. On wedding day they arrived early and it to work shooting everything. Pictures were fun and plentiful! Bill stayed through the end of the reception and was full of energy the whole day. He really helped us throughout all of the events of the day! We love the samples we have so far and can't wait to see the rest of our photos.
