e I was a little nervous having my picture taken. The pictures look amazing, she really captured all emotions and candid moments. This was especially important to me and my partner. I highly recommend working with her. Sequoyah worked with us again a year later during our wedding celebration. She brought a festive energy and did a great job capturing moments with all of our guests (around 75 people). She found great places for us to pose even though it was a rainy day. No matter the event, she's a pleasure to work with.

er for our wedding. Pricing was competitive for her quality of work and packaging. Let me begin by stating that we had to change our wedding date! To which Sequoyah was respectful and very flexible in trying to accommodate. On the day of the wedding Sequoyah and her team arrived promptly, dressed professionally and followed my and my husbands every move- in a great way. They were there for every moment but not in the way. They captured moments beautifully- my husband being prayed over, intimate last moments with my mother, my friends and I laughing throughout the day, teary eyed sentimental moments, great candids and so much more. When it was time for the posed shots, Sequoyah and her team gave excellent direction while still having us both look natural in final photos. Our wedding day fell on an extremely hot summer day but Sequoyah and team hustled through it to capture every moment with no complaint. Our wedding ceremony was followed by an informal reception party at another site. Sequoyah arrived before we did to capture us entering the venue and captured all the smiles of our guests as we danced the night away. The technical specs: the contract was simple to follow; payment reminders were friendly and professional and easy to make on her site; Sequoyah stood ready to answer any questions we had along the way; Sequoyah and team worked very well with all the other vendors including the videographer; Sequoyah and team came with a vision of shots to capture but were very open when we asked for other shots; the photos were uploaded to a BEAUTIFUL website and organized very well. All in all it was a 5 star experience and I recommend her to all my friends and colleagues who ask for references.

Our photos are breathtaking! We just can't get enough of them. What makes Sequoyah’s photography a unique experience is the way that she becomes part of the affair. The photos are for your display, but she moves like a true artist. She creates canvases in her mind and knows how to maneuver her subjects to fit into that vision. As a result, we feel like models for a moment. Then, just when you had fun hearing her harmonize her thoughts as she positioned you, you see the photos and watch yourself look better than you ever thought possible. We wouldn’t simply recommend her. We’d feel sorry if you didn’t get the chance to have her. Don't walk, run to book her!

When we did our site visit to the venue a few months before our wedding date, Sequoyah and her assistant came along, spotting amazing locations that we should consider for our First Look and preparation photos. Our wedding was at The Factoria in Peekskill and we’d intended the first look to take place on the water on our wedding day but hurricane Henri derailed our plans. Sequoyah sprang into action and scouted a really special alternative down in the arcade at the venue. During stages photos she commanded the room, which we really appreciated because of how much of a whirlwind that period is before the ceremony. We didn’t have to think of anything—she had the shot list ready to go and navigated people in and out of frame to keep things moving. In addition to her camera photos, Sequoyah also took photos on her iPhone and sent a bunch to us the next morning, and tagging us in Instagram Stories. We *really* appreciated that part, since all we wanted to do the next day was relive the day/night we’d just had. My wife (!!) and I can’t recommend Sequoyah Daniel Photography enough. Honestly, your search should be over because she’s the real deal. Thank you so much Sequoyah!!! You made our wedding day and the weeks leading into it so much more special than we could’ve asked for.

One thing I loved most about her style of shooting, was that her photos of my husband and I told a story. e pandemic. We wanted to keep our original 9/20/2020 date so we got married over Zoom in our backyard in Brooklyn. Sequoyah (who took every professional health precaution) was so endearing and made everyone feel comfortable. The photos she captured of our wedding were so magical. She got EVERY shot we could’ve wanted from our special day. Even though our wedding was not what we originally planned, it definitely turned out to be even more perfect than we could’ve imagined and Sequoyah expertly captured those images for us.
