I bought my veil from Serendipity. The staff was so welcoming and kind. They helped me choose a veil to match a dress I had already bought elsewhere. They even suggested a local seamstress in which I ended up using to alter my dress. I highly recommended Serendipity!

I had a great experience at Serendipity! I am easily overwhelmed and not great at making decisions but Melissa was there to help every step of the way. She never made me feel rushed or pressured to decide on a dress. She gave her honest opinions when I would ask, which I appreciated and did not experience at other shops. I ended up narrowing it down to a plain white A line (what I thought I wanted) and a lace, sparkling fit and flare. (not at all what I expected). After going with the unexpected dress I was having doubts a month or so later and was considering shopping for another dress so I reached out to Melissa and expressed my concerns. She was nice enough to send me options that would work for my size and timeline before I went back into the store. She gave me great advice and I ended up staying with my original dress, which in the end I absolutely loved. The only "complaint" would be about the dress itself, which I don't think is the shops fault. I got a dress from the serendipity collection and the lace was extremely delicate (which I'm sure is common on lace dresses) but every time I went in for a fitting or tried the dress on I would find a new tear in the lace. Luckily they were easily fixed by my seamstress. Regardless of the delicate dress, my experience was amazing and I would recommend Melissa & Serendipity to everyone!

Such a perfect bridal shop!! I had gone to one another and the employees there and there selection just weren't that well. The minute I walked into Serendipity though they were so so helpful and actually made me feel like a bride. They picked out dresses based on what I was looking for and were just so helpful in finding the perfect dress for me. We also decided to get my husband and his groomsmen suits there and they turned out perfect and the shop was extremely accommodating and made sure everything turned out perfect. I will tell every bride - go there for your dress and suits!

One of my favorite wedding dress consultations! Even before I stepped foot inside Serendipity, a cute, personalized sign at the entrance welcomed me. Melissa was such a joy to work with! She was patient and fun every step of the way. Her energy matched mine and my entourage’s! I am a South Jersey local, and I visited almost all of the wedding dress shops near me. Although I ultimately got my dress from out of the area, I loved my experience here so much that I knew I had to go back. I ended up purchasing my veil from Serendipity! It was so pretty and matched me and my wedding dress so well. Thank you, Melissa and Serendipity!

The mom and daughter team who helped me find my dress were so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me! They helped us celebrate with champagne and made the experience so special. I had previously had a very bad dress shopping experience at another store and they made sure that my experience there was so much better. The dresses are all so beautiful and affordably priced, and the atmosphere is very laid back and stress free, even when you want to try the same dress on 5x.

I had a great experience at Serendipity! We had a two- hour appointment and it was very private and intimate. Melissa and Lynn were very helpful and attentive. The shop had all the different style options I was looking to try and the whole shop was at a reasonable price range which made it easier to try on anything I wanted. I look forward to returning once my dress comes in!

Found the dress of my dreams!! I had two very differing ideas for what I wanted. The mom and daughter duo went quickly to work pulling fantastic options. I found my dress on the third try. This dress was pulled by the team. So thankful they listened to me and even picked things I might not have tried on myself. Very affordable and they let me feel like a princess!!

I couldn’t rave more about this place! First all let me just say how accommodating they are ( I live in Rhode Island but from New Jersey) my flight my delayed over an hour missing my appointment time, not a problem a serendipity they saw me anyway! Melissa and Lynn were amazing they really understood the look I was going for! The line of dresses that are only created for their store is another amazing point so brides don’t worry about have the same dress as a million other girls! The store is such a cute little shop and you can tell by it that Melissa and Lynn really take pride in it, as far as I’m concerned Melissa and Lynn at serendipity bridal collections really are a force to be recon with in the bridal boutique community!

Serendipity is a cute, affordable bridal shop! Melissa and her mom are very nice and provide a cozy, relaxed atmosphere for trying on dresses. I was worried about finding a dress in time for a wedding 5 months out but was able to find a great dress! I am glad Serendipity was recommended to me, and I cannot wait to wear the dress for the wedding!

Serendipity was exactly what we were looking for, and I found perfect dress! They really listened to what I wanted, and made great suggestions, and also let us look around at what they have. We went to two places before Serendipity that didn’t do that. The dress is from their designer’s private label, which wasn’t a big deal to me at first, but now I keep seeing all of the same dresses on Instagram from the top designers, and I love that mine is special and not seen everywhere/anywhere. Highly recommend!

This was the first place I went wedding dress shopping and went in without having a clue of what I wanted for a wedding dress. Thanks to Melissa and her mother Lynn, I walked out knowing the exact style/fit that I wanted for my big day. I am not a big shopper and Melissa and Lynn were incredibly patient and helpful when selecting dresses for me to try on. I went to a few other bridal shops after Serendipity, but nothing compared. In Serendipity, it is a private experience, which is the way it should be. All their attention is on you and helping you find the dress. After my other experience, I just had to go back to Serendipity and decided on my dress. I would HIGHLY recommend Serendipity to anyone, and their prices are reasonable.

This is such a beautiful shop! It’s not crowded like some stores, you can really see all of the dresses. Missy is very knowledgeable and helpful. And they make it a super fun experience when you say yes to the dress!

Serendipity Bridal Collections is a hidden gem in the southern Jersey region. I had found my dress early on, but due to workout regiments found late in the game that the dress of my dreams no longer fit. Melissa and her mom Lynn took great care to make me feel comfortable in my search. The very last dress (a total of 27!) was the one I fell in love with and wore on my wedding day. Their customer service is outstanding.

I would just like to say lynn made the experience so easy and enjoyable! This is was my second choice after going to David’s bridal I am so happy I was able to find my say yes to the dress at serendipity! I highly recommend them!!!! Make this your one stop shop! They are amazing!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I came here after 4 failed boutique appts elsewhere and one online dress that I didn’t love. I explained all of that and mentioned what I was looking for in a dress. I’m so happy to say that I was able to find the one! My needs and wants were listened to and now I have my dream dress that checked all my boxes. If you’re wondering whether to come to this bridal salon, just do it! The experience was lovely and I never once felt pressured to decide even after I tried on the same dresses multiple times. Totally recommend!!!

I had the best time shopping for my second wedding dress here. I was supposed to get married last May and was postponed twice. As time went on I started to dislike my first dress. I refused to put it on due to fear of my gut feeling being accurate. Well, three months before our new date I decided it was time. I WAS RIGHT. Sold my first dress and made some appointments to try again. Stumbled on this cute spot and went for it. I went by myself because my family was busy. I have never been made to feel more comfortable with someone who felt like a friend. The energy, excitement and honesty was top notch. I would recommend this place to any bride!

This Mama/Daughter duo will make you feel welcome before you even step in their boutique! Melissa has a story that gives her commitment to making sure every bride-to-be feel special! I was SO picky but that did not make a difference to them. They let me try on just a out every dress on and then retry ones I love. I would have never expected to find the perfect dress my first time wedding dress shopping - however, it was almost impossible to not with how knowledgeable and intuitive Mellissa and Lynn were. They made the experience perfect and personable. I would recommend 10/10, will never forget that moment I walked out and saw myself looking back and me in my dress.

I had such an amazing experience with Serendipity Bridal yesterday. Due to the pandemic, I had to shop for my dress alone. Lynn and Melissa were so warm and so helpful throughout the entire experience. They were able to find exactly what I was looking for that day. There needs to be more Bridal shops that are off the rack like Serendipity where you don't need to order the dress months ahead of time, and have so many different designers to choose from. Serendipity was the first and ONLY bridal shop I went to! I had the most amazing experience last November and just got to wear my dress last month. I was recommended here from a girlfriend who had bought her dress here a month or so prior. So my mom, sister, future mother-in-law and I decided to make a weekend shore trip out of coming here from Philadelphia one weekend. I actually didn't have any idea what type of dress I was looking for and Melissa and her mother were able to help me from the second I walked in the door. They encouraged me to try as many styles as I wanted since it was my first outing. I swore I didn't want a strapless dress, but Melissa pointed me to 2 that would suit my body and style. The dress I ended up selecting was one of the ones she pulled and the second ever wedding dress I put on. I felt like it was made for me and am so grateful she pulled it or I could have totally missed it! This may be the only purchase of my life that didn't give me buyers remorse. Even though I hadn't been to another salon, I knew my search was over and I found the one. The shop was so personal and the girls didn't put a single bit of pressure on me to make a decision. I also loved that they were so transparent with prices/discounts AND I got to walk out that day with my dress. I don't know how I would have survived wedding planning during COVID if I also had to add waiting for my dress to be shipped in the mix. I recommend this place to every single person I know when they get engaged!

I had the absolute best experience at Serendipity Bridal! I went into it not really knowing what I wanted the dress to look like, but Melissa and Lynn were both so sweet and helpful! I love this mother-daughter dynamic. I visited the shop with my mother and sister and felt Lynn and Melissa were very personable and made the experience very relaxing and stress-free. They really help you narrow down their collection to find your dream dress! Dresses are bought off the rack so I love the comfort in knowing my dress is already tucked away safely at home, same day. They even recommended one of their favorite seamstresses who we were able to FaceTime during my appointment to ask her what she will be able to do to make my dress even more perfect! These ladies are so nice and flexible, we were treated with champagne when I said yes to my wedding dress! Definitely would recommend Serendipity!

I had first heard of Serendipity at a bridal expo and I loved their dresses during a fashion show. They were my first choice for my wedding dress shopping. Melissa was so helpful and listened to what I wanted, even though I was not exactly sure. For this reason, I tried on a little bit of every style. Melissa would tweak each pick based off of my likes/dislikes from previous dresses. With her expertise, I found my dress! I ended up adding a veil and still came in under my budget, which was an added bonus!

I could not have asked for a better experience! I had an idea of what I wanted my dress to look like but had no clue as to the style of dress (a-line, ballgown, ect.). I will say my visit to Serendipity was amazing from the second I got out of my Jeep. They had a sign outside up front welcoming me with my name on it. When I walked in the owners, Melissa and Lynn, welcomed my girls and I with smiles and were with good vibes. They told us their background on how they got to where they are and asked what I had in mind for my wedding dress. They were very good on picking out what I was imagining what my dress would be. I ended up picking a completely opposite dress of what I’ve been looking for. They never pressured with any dress on me and stayed within my budget. I loved the experience I had with them and I found my “yes” dress with them. I recommend them!

Serendipity Bridal Collections was the second place I went to look for a dress. I ended up finding one I absolutely loved at the other store at Serendipity, and it was hundreds of dollars less expensive. Melissa and Lynn were so great, from the moment we got there they had my name on a chalkboard. They were patient, gave honest opinions, and knew exactly my style/what I was looking for in the first 5 minutes. I wanted family and my maid of honors involved and the only day everyone was able to was a Monday. Melissa opened the store just for us! They also made the buying of the dress exciting, with a sign and popping a bottle of champagne to make the moment special. They really care and make you feel special throughout the whole process. I can't recommend them enough!

First time bridal dress shopping, first shop, and the first dress I tried on! Of course I tried on at least 8 others after, but when I put that first one back one, that was it! Lynn had actually picked this one out after I chatted to both her and Melissa about my vision and showed them some inspiration photos. These ladies were absolutely lovely! I loved the fact that they are a mother-daughter team, having brought only my mother into the shop with me that day made it the perfect experience to share together. We were greeted with a sign outside the door that had my name on it, it was so cute and unexpected. Little things like that show you how much they really care about your experience and making it all about you! They even had a champagne cheers at the end and a photo op with an "I said Yes" sign. It was so perfect! I definitely recommend this lovely shop and these beautiful women! FIVE STARS!

Serendipity was my first and last stop on my month-long dress search. I was so overwhelmed when I started my search, but Melissa patiently walked me through each of the styles of dresses, encouraging me to try different things without being pushy. As she learned what I liked, she suggested a number of other designs that were spot-on! I’m very body-conscious, so I was dreading dress shopping, but Melissa and Lynn made the process so much fun, and they were super patient with my multiple visits. I finally “said yes to the dress” yesterday, and they provided suggestions for tailors and were excited to hear my vision for other elements of my wedding. Can’t beat the value, too - designer dresses at discounted prices! I work at a wedding venue, and I will be suggesting Serendipity to all of my friends and clients!

I didn’t even think I wanted a wedding dress until I walked into Serendipity, that’s the kind of bride I thought I was. However, Melissa and Lynn were so wonderful and patient with me helping me select the dress of my dreams that I didn’t even think I could love as much as I did (PS my husband cried tears of joy when he saw me in it so it definitely was the perfect one). They took the time to walk me through each section of the store and gave completely honest and thoughtful opinions on the probably 15 dresses I tried on that day. I can’t thank them enough for making my day!

I was welcomed without an appointment when other bridal stores such as David's Bridal asked me to come back after I make an appointment. The owners gave me time to look through their well-organized designer dresses without asking me a million questions. They have a great selection of under $700 dresses as well as other dresses. As I was trying on dresses, I did not feel time restricted or overwhelmed. The owner helped me discover what style of dresses look good on me, which is hard because I have a very athletic body shape. I highly recommend coming here and finding your dream dress.

Okay, I’ll start by saying I was absolutely NOT feeling “ready” to try on dresses let alone buy my dream dress! Myself, my family, and my bridesmaids had such a great experience at serendipity. Melissa and Lynn were helpful, understanding, and so knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable in every dress I tried on, all while giving feedback so that I could find a dress that was perfect for my body shape. The shop has a great variety of dresses without being overwhelming. If you haven’t bought your dress yet, definitely schedule an appointment at Serendipity. You will not be disappointed!

I didn't end up finding my dress at Serendipity (yet) but I had a great experience trying on gowns and they had a lot to choose from. All the dresses were in great condition and Lynn and Melissa were both very knowledgeable about the designers and what kind of alterations could be made. It was my first time trying on bridal gowns and they made me feel comfortable and special, but did not make me feel pressured. They also have a beautiful collection of new veils, headpieces and other accessories at very reasonable prices, so at the least, I think I will be back to buy my veil at Serendipity. Would definitely recommend!

For a bride who had no idea what she wanted and has a tough time making decisions, the service here was amazing. They helped to steer me to "the dress" that I would have never imagined to love, but it is perfect, and they were so patient, encouraging me try on my favorites over and over to help me make a decision. Serendipity provides an amazing experience and has so many beautiful dresses. Almost all of their dresses were designer sample gowns and they had so many different styles and sizes. I noticed how the dresses were carefully cared for and kept in the boutique, you would have never thought they had been worn before. As samples, the dresses were totally affordable and I found my dream dress for a fraction of its retail value!! Thanks Melissa for making me feel so special and helping me find my 'yes' dress!!
