g weekend was absolutely magical! Her and her vendors and team made it a fairy tale wedding. She had a calming presence on all of our calls as well as the day of the event. If Shauna said she was going to do something, you could count on it happening. She has integrity and a good soul. I recommend her without any reservations whatsoever.

without a hitch and was flexible, coming up with creative solutions whenever we needed. She came up with a genius spot for our ceremony that was very unique and private, the decor was gorgeous, and the way the reception flowed even with some minor time changes was ideal. Both of us had no worries throughout the night because we knew she had it under control! All vendors that she recommended were excellent as well. She was also very available leading up to wedding the day, keeping me on track and calm and helping me make decisions. Truly can't recommend her enough!

Our band, our minister, a vendor, and the chapel staff all mentioned how great it is to work with Shauna, and how good she was at what she does. My wife and I live in New York and are probably a headache to deal with, more so when we’re trying to plan a wedding down on Bald Head Island NC, but Shauna put up with us and helped us plan a beautiful day that went off without a single hitch. It was exactly how we wanted it, down to the last votive (a piece of tableware Shauna and my wife taught me about during planning). As the groom who wanted absolutely nothing at all to do with planning a wedding, I’d highly recommend Shauna!

e. Not only did Shauna take me on as a client, but she did so without any reservation and she helped make my day amazing! She helped me find a florist that was able to accommodate what I wanted when it seemed like EVERYONE in the area was booked solid through 2024 (I am writing this in 2021), she provided me with a list of her preferred vendors but didn't freak out when I went off course and chose my own, she found me a great deal on a DJ (actually convinced me I needed one when I thought it would be fine not to have one - WE DID NEED ONE, LOL!), and we haven't even gotten to the main event yet. . . My husband's biggest thing with our big day was "I need to know when things are going to happen, where do I need to be when." And boy, did Shauna come through. Her schedule started the night before with the rehearsal and kept everyone on track through the end. . . She helped us rearrange the photo schedule when the ladies took a bit longer to get ready than originally planned. She remained calm when I started to freak out. She helped me bustle my dress and made sure that I ate. She met me at the front door of the reception venue with a cocktail. 12/10 recommend. Hire this woman to plan your wedding.

for weddings on BHI. My daughter lives in Dallas, the groom lives in LA, brides family is in Florida and guests will be coming in from all over. Did I mention both the groom and the bride work in professional sports and can only get married during a 6 week window in the summer?? Complicated enough to begin with... but I felt from reputation alone we were in good hands. Then a global pandemic hit! Shauna stood with us through the entire chaotic, ever changing world. Would we be able to move forward? Would will have to postpone or cancel? Shauna was a calming presence in the midst of so many unknowns and changes. She was always on top of the various rules and restrictions that came down from the government. As one door closed she found another door to open. If the original reception site could no longer accommodate a wedding she found a solution. She calmly walked us through the reduction of our wedding guests as per NC policy, giving helpful suggestions. But this isn’t just a review to say Shauna is great at problem solving, which she is, most wedding planners need to be. This is a review to say she is a visionary and a dream keeper. Not only did Shauna help us to have a wedding during the Covid crisis but she kept my daughter’s dreams alive! The beauty and the romance and the vision of Ashley’s wedding were never compromised. Yes, it was smaller. Yes, people were spread out further. And yes, masks were worn. Health and safety were extremely important and taken care of. But, as we look at pictures in the years to come, the love, the beauty and the fairy tale aspect of this wedding will be the story told not a virus. Shauna created a tiny little oasis of calm and love in a time of fear. You will never find a better wedding planner.

Seriously, an entirely new wedding. She was with us every single step of the way, supporting us and making arrangements.  She brought a sense of peace and security to our entire wedding weekend experience when everything around us was hectic.  Shauna’s organization and leadership is truly unmatched. I credit her with the flawless wedding day. The day of the wedding you would have never known it was a backup plan because Shauna made sure the day was distraction free and absolutely beautiful. Additionally, rather than going back to check on her home after the storm, she chose to meet us in our new location to plan the new wedding, which speaks volumes to who she is and how she cares for her clients. We felt unbelievably cared for and heard by her.   Not only was Shauna amazing during the time of distress and tragedy when we realized the day we had planned together for 10 months wasn’t going to happen, she was incredible during the entire process.  From constant communication, creative design ideas, organizing our wedding parties, coordinating wedding weekend plans/timeline, and on-and-on, Shauna was truly an INCREDIBLE wedding planner. Any vendor we mentioned Shauna’s name too, could not say enough amazing things about her.  We would hire Shauna 1,000 times over again and would suggest that you do the same. We love Shauna.

I “met” with two other planners before finding Shauna and they only offered phone calls instead of meeting in person and I felt like they were selling me on their services the whole time. When I setup a meeting with Shauna we met over coffee and she asked me tons of questions about my day that I hadn’t even thought about. She started giving me recommendations and was basically helping me before a contract had even been discussed. I immediately felt comfortable with her and even though I chose her “day-of” coordinator package she went above and beyond for me all of the days leading up to my wedding.
