My husband and I found Benjy through internet search. We live in Virginia and visit SC often during the summer and knew we wanted to get married there. Benjy was heaven sent to us. He made everything SO easy from the first conversation we had until we said I Do. He assisted with planning, coordinating and even sending out signed wedding licenses at the end so we didn’t have to worry about it. When our venue got changed last minute (literally the day before our wedding due to weather) Benjy spoke with the DJ, coordinated with our other planner and didn’t even blink with the transition to new space. He even was willing to help us find a new venue to use. We had multiple family members come up to us after the wedding saying how wonderful he was, how eloquently he spoke and how perfect his choice of words was. We felt so comfortable with him during a time that is extremely nerve wracking standing in front of a bunch of people staring at you. One day, my husband and I will renew our vows and we will go right back to Benjy. Even though we didn’t get to utilize his full services provided including getting sand on the beach prepped and having him set up/take down chairs on the beach strictly due to weather, I have no doubt that everything still would have gone smooth. We put full trust in Benjy! Above all else, he is a really genuine and great person, which assisted with the process being so smooth. We recommend Benjy 1,000x over!!

Rev. Simmons was the absolute best! From our first phone call to the I Do's he took care of everything we needed. He always answered the phone and emails. He was very accommodating and made sure our day was everything we wanted.

My husband and I got married in December 2022 and hired Benjy as our ceremony officiant. Benjy is absolutely INCREDIBLE! He came highly recommended from our wedding venue, Pawleys Plantation, and I can absolutely see why. Benjy made the entire process so easy and stress free, and has very reasonable prices, especially compared with how crazy expensive wedding vendors can be. He answered all of our questions very promptly and met with us as much as we wanted. He made our rehearsal and ceremony perfect and we couldn't ask for any better. Rev. Simmons was perfect to work with! Even having never previously interacted with him. Picking an officiant was one of our harder tasks for the wedding, as we are not affiliated anywhere and he was the perfect choice. He communicated with us on several occasions to make sure we were comfortable with him and understood the entire process. Very professional and well spoken. Worked great with our DJ and coordinator.

Finely Tuned was an excellent addition to our wedding day. My husband and I were not looking for a DJ but rather a softer approach to entertainment for our guests. We found Finely Tuned and they had a wonderful demo library. Todd and Stephanie of Finely Tuned talked with us about what we were looking for and any music we didn’t want. Todd and Stephanie even learned a song on the violin for the father/daughter dance. We were so pleased with their day of performance and our guests still talk about it! They were having so much fun playing “guess that tune.” We highly recommend Finely Tuned for any event!

I cannot say enough about Benjy and all he did to make our wedding day perfect! As soon as I sent him a message, he responded quickly with more information and wanted to set up a call to start creating our day! He got everything we wanted down to the smallest detail, consistently kept contact throughout the months and helped with any questions or problems that came up! Our setup was beautiful, the ceremony was intimate and Benjy did a fantastic job! He even took amazing pictures himself (along with his assistant) and gave them on a flash drive the same day! I recommend his services 10000 times over, whether big or small, the quality and care is amazing!

Rev. Benjy made our wedding day absolutely perfect. We traveled from Michigan to South Carolina and had our ceremony/reception at Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club. Benjy made sure to speak with me at length about all the fine details, what mark and I expected, and what to expect. He was also very diligent about keeping to our timeline and explaining the court process to us since we were from Michigan. Our vows were beautiful and benjy incorporated everything we wanted while also guiding us with different templates that he offers. Reverend Simmons was very informative and very timely in communicating with me. He was very flexible when it came to the day of the wedding and I asked if he could add something for our wedding. We are so glad Rev Benjy Simmons married us! He made everything very easy, did a fantastic job during our ceremony, and is genuinely a great guy. He allowed us to customize our ceremony and provided us with a beautiful custom unity sand glass that is now on our mantlepiece. Pastor Benjy Simmons of Simple Wedding Day in Myrtle Beach was amazing to work with! We contacted him just a couple of months in advance of our wedding and he helped us plan our July 4th Sunrise ceremony at Surfside Beach. He was very helpful in telling us where the best places would be to get our marriage license ahead of time since we live out of state. He was also very patient when our service of only the 2 of us turned into us plus 15 guests!
