er, I would! The engagement shoot was our first time meeting and she was so warm, so welcoming, so sweet, funny, and just made the entire environment so comfortable for my husband and me. We were so nervous about the shoot and ended up having an awesome time. And so for our wedding it wasn't any different. We absolutely adored her energy and loved working with her. We are both camera shy and Vicky just has this magic of making us feel safe and comfortable and she captures all of these perfectly timed beautiful moments. She is so communicative, so helpful, so phenomenal. I truly can't express how much we adored her and I highly highly HIGHLY recommend her!!!

She even waited while we went back to our house to change outfits, touch up, and dry my hair (that’s how hot it was and how sweaty I got at our first location) before our second outfit/location shoot. We got our pictures back in three days and they were all amazing! I needed some small edits due to some skin blemishes and she quickly fixed them to my liking. For our wedding, her and her husband (second shooter) were a great team. They followed the timeline we created together and made sure to get the important shots I requested. Vicky even helped me bustle my dress after the ceremony since I couldn’t find my bridesmaids at that moment. She did a fast and great job making sure I was taken care of. They got a bunch of amazing shots and most of the time I didn’t even realize they were around. On the dance floor, they did a great job of capturing the fun moments without being intrusive. Vicky got my wedding photos back to me in 3 days and they all looked amazing!!! I highly recommend Captivating Collective and Vicky as your photographer!

some beautiful outdoor shots without ruining my dress. I had my entire album (1000+ pictures) within less than a week of my wedding. They are impeccable, and I can’t wait to display them around my house. She even brought a second shooter without us mentioning it…and those pictures are the cherry on top. d stayed late. Melissa was by my side the entire day making sure I got every shot I wanted. She made me and my bridal party so comfortable and you can see that in the photos. She was incredibly patient, allowing bridesmaids to see photos and adjust and take more if they were not happy with the original. Additionally, we got our photos back in under a week and WOW. I was so impressed. There were SO many beauty photos, it was hard to choose which I liked most. Prior to the wedding, I was already thinking that I would need to take photos another day, as we were not doing a first look and would not have that much time to take photos, but after we got our pictures back, I knew that was not necessary, there were more than enough to choose from. Seriously so happy with how the pictures came out!!

Melissa is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She is an AMAZING photographer. I just received my wedding photos (over 5000) and my current stressor is picking out my which ones to print because she does not make it easy (too many beautiful pics to choose from) LOL. I love how during the shoots she would quickly show me the pictures on her camera so that I can see how their coming out and how I look in the photos. She makes sure to ask you things like what’s your good side. She gets booked out pretty far out in advance so book her early you will not regret it. Neither of us feel like we are photogenic people and usually feel awkward in front of the camera and they made us feel so comfortable and actually made us look really good! They were extremely patient with our family members who wanted to take pictures with us when they weren't supposed to and were very polite when they needed to turn people away or ask them to come back at a different time. This is important because when you have a big wedding because your photographers have to enforce the flow and are dealing with your guests directly and they did an amazing job with that. We also got so many awesome candid shots and we didn't even notice them on the dance floor! A lot of times photographers & videographers tend to be in the way or constantly asking for posed shots and everything with Simply Captivating felt so natural and easy. Melissa is so patient and is great at giving advice in general about pictures, photoshoot sites, posing tricks, but she goes beyond that. We hit some road bumps along the way as my engagement shoot appointment predicted a lot of rain and Melissa texted back and forth until the last minute with me before we decided after watching weather advisories to reschedule. She worked with me to find me another slot in her busy scheduled. It all worked out and our engagement shoot reschedule day was great! Melissa took great engagement photos and was so easy to work with and made me and my fiance very comfortable. I had so many great pictures that it was so hard to pick favorites. For my wedding, she noticed on our wedding timeline that the photo coverage time was not adequate and last minute gave me added shooting time at a great rate. She is not just a photographer but an amazing human being who is so considerate. She arrived before schedule and ran around with me and my husband all day to ensure we got all the pictures we wanted.
