I unfortunately did not have a good overall experience with brandi. I interviewed multiple wedding planners last summer and ultimately went with Brandi because it was who I felt I ...
had the best connection with and she seemed really organized. During our first big planning session together in the fall, she was very organized and communicative. However, that changed during the new year. I had emailed Brandi over 7 times (this was always our primary communication method) with no response. I didn’t hear from her for weeks. My wedding venue even tried to contact her themselves and nothing. It was less than 5 months out from my wedding and I had no sense of a timeline setup, therefore couldn’t start making invitations or give this detail to other vendors. Brandi did ultimately respond via phone (over a month later) and said she was locked out of her email due to technical issues. I don’t understand how that happens in 2026. If I didn’t respond to my clients email at my job for weeks, I would be fired. I would really expect that she call me immediately once she was having technical issues. I’d also think that she’d realize she’d need to work with me on a timeline or other details given the date of my wedding. I was very surprised she didn’t reach out once to ask for an update or suggest that we get certain tasks started. In addition to the lack of communication, on our second planning meeting in February, she seemed to forget multiple details I had already sent to her. I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews but having her as a planner made the wedding planning process incredibly stressful for me as I felt I was being ignored for weeks. Then I had to start over with finding a new planner, get them up to speed which has delayed everything else in my planning process. I did receive a partial refund but I do not believe it is equal to what services were not provided. About $1,000 lost that I could have used elsewhere.
