If I could give negative stars, I would. The owner Samantha, had two businesses - “Sky Candy” cotton candy and “Sunset Creamery” gelato. I sent an inquiry for the gelato for my wed...
ding. When I received a response I decided not to book because it was out of my budget. Samantha then reached back out to me and gave me a different price to help meet my budget. Prior to booking and making a payment she was very responsive and professional. After I made my first payment and the closer we got to the wedding, she became less and less responsive. Each time I talked to her or my coordinator talked to her, she seemed like she forgot who we were and it was like speaking for the first time. I asked her for a copy of my contract so that I could see when my last payment was and she then sent me a picture of my original payment rather than the contract. As the wedding got closer my coordinator continued to call her because she wasn’t answering her emails. It is impossible to get this lady on the phone. She rarely emails back or sometimes texts back. Two days before the wedding she 100% confirmed she’d be there. The morning of my wedding, my coordinator receives a TEXT (not even a phone call) stating she will not be there. It was Super Bowl Sunday and I had to figure out another dessert option because she was all I had booked. Luckily, my COORDINATOR was able to repair the damage that Samantha caused. After the wedding I reached out to Samantha via email since she didn’t have the decency to apologize and reach out to the bride, the person that booked her. Her emails with me were rude and unprofessional, as if I was the one that did wrong. The one that stood out the most to me was after us emailing back and forth, not happy with each other she emails me stating she was logging off her computer for the day and would reply tomorrow even though the situation about receiving my money back was not fixed. Receiving my money back was a complete challenge with her but eventually did receive it after getting completely fed up and mentioned legal action. I decided to go back to her website, which was deleted and all of her social media was as well. This lady and her “business” is a complete scam and I just hope this review helps save someone else from booking her and causing the amount of stress she put on me. Do NOT book any “business” that is “owned” by Samantha O’Hare.
