DJ Slone was so much better than we could have ever asked for! He was the most professional DJ I spoke with when we were on the hunt and that is why we chose him. He lived up to expectations and even more! The one thing we wanted from our DJ was for people to have fun at the wedding. After it was all said and done, MANY people told me how much they loved the DJ and a couple of friends (and my sister) who are beginning to plan their weddings all got his card because he was so great. We had some strange and very meaningful-to-the-bride-and-groom song requests and he was able to pull them all off flawlessly. He was amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ at a great price!

Now if you want to know how we can say that with such certainty, continue reading! When we first started planning our wedding, we had several ideas for the music played at the wedding and reception. So needless to say, finding a DJ was a very big deal for us. In the first meeting, we discussed our music needs with DJ Slone and explained to him how important they were to us. He was engaged from the very beginning. Musically, we had a lot of Brazilian/bossa nova and Spanish elements for our wedding ceremony, while our cocktail hour required neo-soul/jazz/smooth R&B approach, and the reception was all about partying to feel good, get down music thats appropriate for grandmas, babies, and everything in between. So we had a tall order for whatever DJ we chose. But DJ Slone was not only up for the challenge, he told us that he could do it exactly how we wanted it. His emphasis was on making the day memorable and special to us. He was detail-oriented, provided us with honest and thoughtful feedback, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Since we were literally states apart, DJ Slone communicated with us through text, phone calls, e-mails, and even dropbox to help finalize wedding plans and make sure that he stayed abreast of any updates related to music, order of ceremony, or individuals involved on the wedding day. Finally, the wedding day arrived, and DJ Slone was super excited about our wedding day and that energy really set the tone for the wedding day. He arrived about 6 hours ahead of the wedding to participate in our final wedding rehearsal. He didn't have to, but he did because he wanted to make sure that everything on his part was perfect and it was. The DJ completely knocked our socks off. On the day of, the music was perfect and our guests were dancing the entire time (grandma, the babies, and everyone in between). He got the crowd going and even as the night wore on and the crowd grew thin, he kept DJing like the house was packed. One of the best parts of the night was when DJ Slone turned the mic over to the crowd and we began a sing off between the guys and the girls to the music he played. We had a ball all night long! And as the night drew to an end, I requested a final song. DJ Slone not only played it, but he had to play it 3 times because we were having so much fun the song wasn't long enough. He even came from behind the DJ table and danced with us for the final spin!! I think that the ultimate comments came from our guests who all enjoyed the music and wanted to know if he DJ'd for other occasions too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one given to us. As much as we enjoyed his numerous services and amazing price, the thing we love the most is that we trusted him with the most important day of our lives and not only did he not let us down, but he exceeded every expectation we had. If we were to plan any other event that required DJ services, there is no doubt DJ Slone would be the first vendor we would book!

I have had the pleasure of seeing DJ Slone work at a Charitable function and also at my own wedding. Both atmospheres were completely different from one another, and he was definitely a crowd pleaser for both! He is able to adjust to the atmosphere of the crowd and still be sure your requests take priority. DJ Slone was willing to take time out of his schedule to meet with us as often as necessary to ensure that we had everything in order. He provided insight and guidance into helping to make our ceremony and reception wonderful. Our guests still talk about how much fun our reception was and how polite the DJ was. My father was skeptical about having a DJ, but was very much impressed with DJ Slone's professionalism. I would recommend DJ Slone to anyone who is looking for a DJ no matter the event because of his courtesy and adaptability.

DJ Slone made my wedding reception so much fun! He prepared us for the big day by providing a very detailed planning worksheet. We also met with him a few times before the wedding to ensure that everything was figured out before the big day. He definitely understood our vision and the vibe we wanted for the reception. He was very accommodating to all of our requests and everything would not have ran as smoothly without him.

I just want to extend my thanks to DJ Slone for the wonderful service we received at our October 8th wedding! He kept the dance floor full all night and transitioned well between the schedule changes and usual wedding details. I hired Slone Productions to handle the lighting for my wedding. It was such a smart investment. I got professional service every step of the way and no detail was left to chance. The lighting was subtle, elegant, and definitely added to the atmosphere.
