SoundWaves Entertainment Group with Trevin as our DJ was easily one of the best decisions we made for our special day! Not only were they our DJ company but they also did our uplighting and photo booth. They offer a package that includes everything for such a great price. Stacy and Jim were so sweet and have an amazing online planner for you to fill out every little detail of your day! I mean seriously every single detail! I got emails of what I should be doing throughout the planning process 12, months out, 6 months out, 3 months out, all the way up until our special day. They even sent me links with tips for easy planning! Soundwaves sent a team of three to our wedding and all of them were absolutely awesome!!!! To me, the DJ can make or break a wedding. Well Trevin absolutely made our wedding!!! He was so kind and personable and took the time to make sure everything was just right for us. He made suggestion of songs based off of what we liked and really helped us make decisions easily. Trevin invited us up on stage so we could get cool pictures and just really knew how to have a great time and get the party started. When we were running behind he offered helpful solutions to transition seamlessly between dinner and dancing. Our guests were on the dance floor all night having a blast. So many people told me my DJ was “awesome and played all the good music”! If you want to ensure your guests have a blast, book with Soundwaves and ask for Trevin as your DJ!

I can not express our gratitude for Jim, Stacy, and the Soundwaves event group! They made our wedding day even better than we could have imagined! Jim & Stacy were great to work with from beginning to end. Jim absolutely killed it with the music & keeping people on the dance floor. We had so many people tell us how much fun they had! The foam glow sticks were probably the best $100 spent!! So much fun!!

DJ Chris kept our dance floor absolutely packed the entire night. The planning process was so easy and everything went so smoothly. I may be biased since it was my wedding, but I truly don’t believe I have ever been to a wedding at which the DJ kept the party going the ENTIRE night. So many of our guests were saying that they didn’t even want to go to the restroom or take a step outside because they just kept playing banger after banger. Truly the best night of our lives. We had a situation with one of our dogs getting loose at our Airbnb earlier in the day, and the DJ assistant who came with Chris (who’s name I unfortunately never got so I can’t properly thank him) offered to go sit with our dogs for the remainder of the evening which truly meant so much to us. You can tell that Soundwaves employees not only love what they do (and are dang good at it), but they truly care about their clients as well. Cannot say enough good things about our experience with them!

We had an amazing experience with DJs Jack and Ian! They were incredibly personable and attentive, frequently checking in to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they made sure the music flowed perfectly, creating a logical and energetic sequence that kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor all night. Would give more than 5 stars! We booked Soundwaves for DJ and photobooth. DJ Pat was phenomenal and kept everyone dancing all night. Everyone loved the photobooth and the props. A person working at the venue told my mom that it was the biggest crowd she has seen on the dance floor in all of the weddings she has worked. The online planning tool is soooo helpful and easy to use. It allows you to select what songs you want played for certain parts of your wedding, do not play list, and has new music listed as well. I cannot recommend them enough

Nothing but wonderful things to say. We booked with this company and had DJ Jacob. He kept our guests entertained and engaged all night! Played the perfect amount of variety. We got ton of compliments from our music for our wedding which I feel like is not something people usually comment on. We’ve ended up having several friends book with DJ Jacob and had wonderful experiences as well!

Our DJ Chip did a phenomenal job and we couldn't have asked for someone better. We did a phone consultation with him a couple weeks before the wedding and talked through our plan and timeline. After our conversation we had multiple changes with our wedding party and Chip was nothing short of amazing with adapting to everything! Our guests were tearing up the dance floor the entire night and we got tons of compliments after the wedding from everyone saying they had an absolute blast. Thank you guys so much!

Chris and Noah did an AMAZING job and we couldn’t have asked for betters DJs. We met with chris a couple weeks before the wedding and talked our entire timeline through and he offered great advice. We chose Soundwaves to DJ our wedding after attending several weddings that we enjoyed the music at. Jim and Stacy were extremely easy to work with and had an online planning site where you could be as hands on or hands off as you'd like with your music choices. As far as the wedding night itself goes, the dance floor was full the entire night and the music was perfect! Jim nailed all of our requests while also keeping the energy high. We got numerous compliments after the fact specifically calling out how good the DJ was. In addition to their DJ/ceremony package, we booked a photo booth. The photo booth was full the entire night as well and was a joy for everyone involved. We would recommend Soundwaves for anybody looking for DJ or photo booth services!

Our DJ was Jacob, and we cannot say enough good things about how great he was when we met with him to plan our music and the night of our wedding. We highly recommend him with SoundWaves, and recommend to future couples to give him an outline of the vibe you want, some song requests and then let him mix the rest. He nailed all of our timing for the ceremony processional and recessional, including us having a surprise flower girl run out to "I'm Just Ken," and he ran with our prelude ideas before the ceremony started. We had a Halloween-esque wedding at Heinz History Center, although it wasn't strictly Halloween. We gave him some requests for our dinner, including "Rains of Castermere" to set a "Red Wedding" vibe our guests loved, and then for the dancing portion of the reception. But then he threw some absolutely wild surprises. He played the Halo and Kingdom Hearts themes during dinner, two of our favorite games THAT WE NEVER MENTIONED TO HIM. We loved it! And then he had a lot of fun mixing Thriller, Monster Mash, Backstreet Boys and a bunch more. Additionally, Jacob cared about getting everyone's names right for introductions, he was great with our officiant and when we briefly lost power right at the end of our first dance to throw it into the party with "Renegade," he brushed it off and cracked some jokes to get things rolling again. He thought on his feet better than we could've hoped. We were hesitant going with a DJ company, but Jacob was fantastic. We can't thank him enough!

This is about a month overdue but SoundWaves did such an amazing job and really deserve the props!! Our wedding was on September 21, 2024 at the Pittsburgh Zoo, and Stacy and Jim were wonderful. We received a call a few days before to go over everything (ps their online planner is amazing and so easy to use!) and make sure the final details were accounted for. They played the proper songs, got everyone’s names right, and were on-point with announcements all night. Stacy even stopped at our table and asked if we needed any drinks or anything while we were doing our greetings. Our dance floor was full all night, and we even got a group photo with everyone per Jim’s advice! It was so fun, the music was fantastic, and it really was the cherry on top of a perfect night. To our surprise, they even made a little compilation video for us to our closing song (September by Earth Wind and Fire) and it’s honestly one of my favorite keepsakes. I think their pricing is spot-on and truly cannot recommend their services enough for your wedding. Please do yourself a favor and utilize them as a vendor, you won’t regret it!!

Using Soundwaves for our outdoor farm wedding with over 200 people was such an easy decision. From the start, they were so helpful, so positive, and just so great to work with throughout the whole process. Jacob and Jaden had the best energy during our reception and really made sure our guests had a great time…we got sooo many complements from our guests on what a great job they did! We also had Soundwaves Photo Booth which was a HUGE hit! Kaley had everyone using props and having fun with each other, and then left us with the cutest photo book of all of our guests pictures. They speak for themselves on what a great time everyone had. We can’t say great things about them and we’re so grateful they were a part of our special day!

Soundwaves is amazing! From the very start they responded to all of my questions and made everything easy. On the initial phone call, Stacy was so kind and explained every option in detail. Once we booked, we had nonstop communication! Their online platform for choosing songs and making payments is extremely user friendly. We had DJ Chris, and he walked through the whole wedding timeline with my husband and I and made sure everything was perfect. We had a blast and everyone said they had such a great time. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Jacob was absolutely amazing. We had 400 people and wanted the crowd to have a blast and dance all night, and Jacob did that for us! He truly made our day so much fun, and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night, which was our main priority, and he fulfilled that. His energy was amazing, and also kept everything running smoothly and organized throughout the entire night. Everyone still talks about how he played "All I want for Christmas is You....You Soulja Boy Tell 'Em. He had the best mix of all of our favorite oldies, country, and R&B, and did just what we hope for! He was such a kind person, and truly made the difference for our reception. Absolutely incredible company, from start to finish. Having an amazing DJ at our wedding was a top priority for us and we did a lot of research to find the right one. As soon as we started inquiring, the communication was friendly and fantastic and it remained that way until the very end. The whole process is easy and straightforward and you can tell how professional they are. The true highlight though was DJ Jacob and his assistant Ian. We expected it to be good, but they absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. A majority of our guests told us that it was the best wedding DJ they have ever seen. Soundwaves is excellent! If you want a great party and your guests to be entertained and on the dance floor, DJ Pat is who you are looking for. From start to finish, he made our day so incredibly special. We had to make a last minute change from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony and they did not miss a beat. The ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner music and reception bops were so perfectly us. I also want to point out the way DJ Pat reads the room and switches things up to really keep the vibe going.The PhotoBooth with Kelly was so much fun and the props were just what everyone needed to let loose and forget their troubles for the night! Weddings are all about celebrating uniting families and Soundwaves really fits into that. Even DJ Pat’s son got on the dance floor and indulged our guests with some dancing!! Soundwaves, especially DJ Pat, Kelly and Nathan are a must have at your reception!!

We had DJ Charlie and Louis! They did an amazing job and read the crowd. I did not have much to give them for the reception music other than we had a younger crowd and few genres of artists/songs. They had the crowd going for the grand entrance and on the dance floor.

SoundWaves Event Group blew my expectations out of the water!! We used them for our May 2024 wedding and cannot say enough great things. Jim and Stacy were so helpful in the beginning to provide information and coordinate with. Their system is super easy and gives you the ability to be as involved in the planning process as you'd like to be. DJ Jacob and Charlie were absolutely incredible and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had our wedding at a private residence so we had some unique obstacles, but they handled them effortlessly! Between rain, power outages, and a smashed wedding cake, they did not miss a beat. Meeting with Jacob was so helpful as we were able to get his opinion and expertise on ways we could do things! We added the generator to our package which was a great offer, our main generator went off and on, but we were able to keep the music on luckily since we had SWEG's. We also loved the addition of the cold spark fountains - they made the night so magical and got to use them a couple times! So grateful with their service. We are the fourth couple in our friend group to use Soundwaves due to everyone having such a great experience with them, and even still Jim EXCEEDED our expectations. Our wedding day way THE BEST day of our lives and I truly believe Soundwaves played a huge role in that! I can honestly say that there wasn’t one thing that went wrong the entire day. Jim did amazing at keeping us on schedule, making important announcements, getting our guests on the dance floor, and playing our most necessary songs. At one point during the dancing, he even let me and my husband DJ for a second and create our own DJ names. It was so interactive and fun! Our guests continue to remind us how great our wedding was and it was evident that even our friends and family enjoyed Jim and his team. My mom even mentioned that the enthusiasm in his introductions made it sound like he knew us personally. There was one specific song I had asked about early on in our planning via email that I thought got lost in communication because it was never addressed, but to my surprise, it came on at the reception! These guys don’t miss a thing and are extremely detail oriented, you will be in good hands with them!

Jacob & Louis were great! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and the music was better than what we could ask for. All our guests praised Jacob & Louis for their professionalism, their music mixes and keeping the party going the entire night. We wished we had more time to continue the party! DJ Pat and Nathan worked our wedding back in April and truly made it one to remember for EVERYONE!
