Owner and operator Nina Sagoo is honored to help nearlyweds celebrate their day with an unforgettable culinary experience. Using only the freshest ingredients and herbs, she crafts delectable dishes that delight the taste buds of every client she serves.
From a young age, Nina spent many hours learning to cook alongside her mother and grandmother in Kenya. Once graduated from the University of North Texas, she fell in love with the culinary industry and began working in a number of restaurant settings. Having gained invaluable experience training with many acclaimed chefs and catering professionals, she founded Spiced Lavender Catering and has served countless clients since.
To ensure a fully tailored experience for every couple, Spiced Lavender Catering provides a wide range of offerings. Nina draws inspiration from recipes from all over the world, including American, French, Italian, and Middle Eastern cuisines. She offers a wide range of alternative dishes to accommodate a number of dietary requirements, providing vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, among others.

worked to make just an absolutely lovely and completely delicious meal that was tailored to our tastes (and even my dietary restrictions, which makes things hard sometimes). We were married a month ago and people are still telling me how good the food was! I'm sure that it's something we will remember forever. And their prices are very reasonable, it was easy for us to figure out a menu that was within our budget. Also Nina and Robbie are both just awesome to work with, very easy to talk to and fun! a smaller family ceremony at my parents’ ranch house. I found Nina based on other fabulous reviews and was so thankful she was able to cater for us! She designed an amazing Southwest-themed menu and she and her team followed all of the latest CDC guidelines to keep our guests safe. They served individual charcuterie selections in plastic cups to prevent the spread of germs, multiple appetizers like shrimp ceviche and cheese quesadillas, a selection of carne asada with chimichurri and poblano cream chicken served with corn and bean and water and tea for everyone. A bartender safely served drinks so guests weren’t touching the same bottles over and over. Everything they served was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t have asked for better service! They set everything up, cleaned up afterwards and even put leftovers in the freezer for us. Nina herself is a delight and we loved working with her. We would abdolutely use Spiced Lavender Catering for a future event!

tory. Then a coworker of mine had recommended Spiced Lavender and I spoke to Nina. I told Nina I had needed fusion food for 300 guests she happily told me that she and her staff can cook live for the guests which is a huge plus and for the price point it was really worth it as and the staff went the extra mile for the bride and groom. Thanks to her the wedding went very smoothly.
