I would give Spoon Photo 100 STARS!! We loved working with Michelle!!! Honestly, choosing to work with Michelle is one of the best decisions that we made in planning our wedding. We were married in Mexico and our photos were even better than I dreamed of! Michelle scouted out the most gorgeous settings along the beach and within the resort. She is truly gifted, creative and detail oriented. We had at least 50 random spectators during the beach ceremony and Michelle used the right angles to make it seem like we were the only ones on the beach. She does a fantastic job with destination weddings! She was so helpful and encouraging, truly a JOY to work with. All our family and guests were raving about how stunning our photos are! They cannot wait to see our photo album. I HIGHLY recommend Spoon Photo & Design!

We met Michelle over three years ago and since then, she has captured our engagement, our wedding, and most recently our gender reveal. To find a photographer that you work well with and can be a part of all the major milestones in your life is a rarity. Michelle’s professionalism as well as her sharp eye for detail is truly exceptional. She consistently delivers photographs that will be forever treasured and provides the service that everyone deserves.

We decided to work with Michelle based on a recommendation from a close friend and could not have been more pleased! I had a very specific design in mind and Michelle executed it perfectly. She was incredibly patient and knew exactly how to make our vision a reality. Even working from a distance Michelle made working together seem like we were in the same room. I never believed I would have loved my invites so much! We had so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful and classic the design was and I could not agree more. The shimmery paper, envelope calligraphy and her suggestion of the full rose gold foil suite was the perfect touch. Her layout suggestion and the detail provided in the design for an out of town wedding had people begging me for her contact information. I cannot recommend working with Michelle enough; Her talent and work ethic speaks for itself; flawless! ❤️

OUTSTANDING photographer! We had so much fun working with her, she had us laughing the entire time. She was well organized and took alot of time to go over all of our questions as well as walk us through the entire day. She was a true professional the entire planning process and gave us fantastic advice throughout the day. We love all of our photos and she really let us be us. Michelle was absolutely amazing!! She has the most wonderful, fun personality that is easy to get along with. She actually listens and takes into consideration the type of photos you want. She provides a beautiful assortment of photos each with a different touch. Her is absolutely stunning and you won't be let down. She is willing to go above and beyond of what we wanted. She was absolutely perfect and did an excellent job of capturing our day. We LOVED her!!!

There are not enough words to convey how wonderful Michelle and her photography is! Once I met her I knew I did not need to look any farther for an engagement photographer. She is sweet, easy-going, beyond committed to providing an overall great experience. She was incredibly responsive building up to the day which I loved being the excited bride-to-be that I am. On the day off she was prompt, prepared, helpful and patient. Michelle looked through the many photos of inspiration I had in mind. She was ready to have us pose, directed us to how we need to be to capture a great shot and my vision. But she also captured some really beautiful natural moments in between poses. Overall Michelle is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone for any occasion!

Michelle was wonderful to work with! We are having our wedding out of town and wanted our engagement pictures taken locally. A friend referred us to Spoon Photo & Design and we could not have been happier with the turn out. We opted in for the 2 hour session. We gave Michelle little to no direction about what we were looking for aside from taking them in Lincoln Park. She had a handful of great locations she has shot before,and took charge for the entire two hours. She was friendly and attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Thank you again!

Michelle helped my husband plan the perfect proposal. She worked with him on coordinating, and ensuring the moment was captured perfectly. Michelle worked with us on our engagement photos as well as out day of. She is very creative and it was refreshing to have someone who had the same vision of photography that I do. To me a photo is a memory captured and cherished in a single shot. A photo can take an individual back to that very moment and remind us of the joy which was celebrated and bring a smile to ones face. Michelle understands this concept even more than I do and she captures this in her photos. Michelle also was able to create a custom snap chat filter for our wedding with her InDesign & Photo Shop expertise. I highly recommend Michelle she has photographed many historic moments in our life. She also photographed our family photo soot September of 2016 and she has also shot my mother and I in Oct 2014!

We used Spoon Photo and Design for an hour engagement session in Chicago (we have a local photographer for the big day in Ohio). Michelle was great over email and the phone as we coordinated where to meet. She offered suggestions of what to wear with regards to color and patterns and offered us the opportunity to reschedule, when the weather on our original date was particularly troublesome. In our hour session, she took us to four or five separate locations to give us a variety of backgrounds and the pictures turned out great! While we didn't have her as our wedding photographer, Michelle caught a lot of great, natural moments during our engagement session. I'd definitely recommend her for engagement or wedding photography!

Our experience with Michelle was amazing. She was so pleasant and easy to get along with. She does amazing work. Our engagement sessions was easy going and a lot of fun, as well as the entire day of our wedding. I would recommend Spoon Photo and Design to anyone.

We just had our wedding in October 2012. We hired our photographer based off of the internet and one meeting and did no further shopping. Michelle was very friendly and very easy to work with. We just got our photos back and loved them! I would recommend her to anyone and plan on our using her in the future for family pics.
