I’m Emma: Soirée Specialist, MC, and bonafide Instigator of Epic Dance Parties! Soundtracking special occasions has been a specialty of mine for many years. Both of my parents worked in Radio, which landed me on the mic and learning how to make choice audio selections from an early age. Now as a professional in the field of Performing Arts, I’ve worked with a wide range of music in many dynamic ways, and pride myself on the eclectic playlist curations I’ve made for special occasions large and intimate, for my own dance classes, workshops and performances, and for my weekly radio show on Central Vermont Community Radio in Plainfield, VT. I have an especially tender spot in my heart for weddings ~ I love celebrating love! Each event & couple is unique and it’s such an honor to be a part of the tailoring to that distinctiveness, from helping to choreograph the couple’s first dance, to the delight of providing a musical score for a dream ceremony & reception, to announcing the newlyweds onto the dance floor, or simply witnessing the devotion to love and cheering on the newlyweds with their family and friends.. I’ve yet to get through one without wiping away a tear or two of pure happiness. I’m a native Vermonter and feel it’s an especially brilliant place to hold celebrations of all kinds, with endless picturesque destinations and a steady undercurrent of kindness and open-mindedness leading the way. I cherish bringing my enthusiasm and upstanding work ethic all around the state to help create so many treasured memories. Growing up, I was enamored by music and entertainment, especially considering English is my second language. Listening to music provided the most exposure to English since reading was too difficult. I recited songs, practiced reading lyrics, and rhyming. I was raised in Burlington, Vermont and was a three-sport captain for cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams. I attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Management, with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. Through these educational and recreational endeavors, I discovered my passion for facilitating meaningful experiences. Whether helping folks overcome their fear of heights on high rope elements, guiding teams and companies through team bonding programs, or event planning, I thrived in balancing the needs of many people to help forge new connections and memories. From my early days spinning tracks at school events, to going to concerts for my favorite artists, I was hooked. For the past 11 summers, I’ve worked at music festivals across New England, whose genres span from bluegrass to heavy metal, serving up dumplings for @ting_ting_dumplings. The long hours on my feet, loud music, and the controlled chaos of feeding thousands of people with a small team, I love it! These experiences exposed me to multifaceted sounds and scenes that inform my unique style I bring into every set I play. I’ve been able to follow groups and artists as they start as openers, and becoming headliners. I have always been involved in customer service and am passionate about connecting with people. I was my family’s translator, learning English while helping them navigate life in Vermont. Since then, I’ve done it all—cleaned toilets, sold Ben & Jerry’s at Lake Monster baseball games, organized community events for folks with disabilities, and managed a retail customer service team. I am a native Vermonter with over four years of experience DJing at clubs, all kinds of events, and parties. I bring good energy to every event that I play at, and I am able to maintain strong engagement with the crowd throughout any type of celebration. I believe in staying open-minded to all kinds of music, and am always on the hunt for songs to add to my extensive collection! I love listening to music – and am always listening to the music playing around me. I find myself quickly pulling my phone out to Shazam a song in the grocery store or while at a restaurant. I enjoy everything from pop to reggae, country to disco and much more! In my spare time, I love cooking and baking. I am passionate about healthy eating and supporting local businesses and farmers. I'm a DJ and school librarian with a passion for music and education! I have DJ’d events from the afterparty for the WATA Gravel Grinder bike ride fundraiser (over 400 attendees last year), to a beautiful Vermont farm wedding. As a wedding DJ, my focus is providing a fun and memorable experience for the couple and their guests. I’ll work closely with you to understand your vision for the special day! I have been a musician and lover of music my whole life, and I still enjoy learning about new music. I DJ’d a wedding with an Argentinian bride and I had an amazing time learning about Argentinian pop music (which is so much fun!), so I could incorporate it into their event. I look forward to working with you to make your event just how you envision it! In my day job I am the school librarian for the preK-12 grade Winooski School District. Working in a preK-12 school means I get to do everything from elementary storytimes, to playing “Just Dance” with my High School Homeroom. First, congratulations! It’s exciting to get married, it’s wonderful to be married, and you’re almost there. My best advice is to plan everything you want, share everything you want with your vendors, and trust them to make it happen! Everyone involved in your day has the goal of making your wedding exactly what you want it to be. Share what you’ve imagined and know that your vendors will bring it to life. And once you’ve shared everything and your day finally arrives, relax and enjoy every moment. You won’t need to check the time, check if something or someone is ready, or wonder what’s happening next. We’ll take care of all of that for you. I started with SuperSounds in 1999. I’ve played at between 500 and 600 weddings. That’s given me the chance to get to know so many of the photographers, officiants, banquet coordinators, wedding planners, and videographers all over Vermont. We’ve all worked together many times and many are my friends. We trust each other and know that we can make your day happen exactly the way you want it to happen. If you’re working with vendors with the same level of experience, you can trust us too. In the months before your wedding, we’ll exchange email and you’ll let me know everything you’ve planned. When we get together on the phone a week before your wedding, we’ll review all of your plans. I’ll ask lots of questions, including the names of all of your vendors. Most of them I’ll know, and if there are any that I don’t happen to know, on the day of your wedding I’ll make a point of meeting them hours before anything starts. With that, I’ll know everything you’ve planned, I’ll know everyone who I’ll work with to make it happen, and you’ll know that we’ll make your wedding exactly what you imagined. Why would you hire me as a DJ? Fairly regularly, guests come up to me at weddings and say “I’d love to be a DJ – I love music.” I tell them that I love music too, but to really be a good DJ, you need to love people. Sometime in the early 1990s, my neighbor, Supersounds founder and owner Grant Allendorf, asked me if I might want to become a DJ and work for him, and in the late spring of 1995, I began this completely unexpected and remarkably rewarding journey that has now led to my DJing more than 2500 events from weddings to corporate parties to mitzvahs to school dances to anniversaries to entertainment for tourists–all while teaching English and coaching lacrosse at Mount Mansfield Union High School. At least 500 of these events have been weddings. I had no idea at the time how much I would come to love working for and being with people at their most joyous and intimate occasions. I am surprised how often I find myself moved to tears (well nearly–I am working) when I listen to a speech by a maid of honor, a best man, or a father of the bride I do not know about a bride or groom I also do not know. Nevertheless, one of the truly serendipitous and joyful aspects of DJing for me has been that about four or five times a year I have the good and rich pleasure of DJing the wedding of a former student or lacrosse player. So while I always enjoy the personal connection with our customers, the connection is all the more full at these events. Like all Supersounds DJs, I take great pleasure in working with the crowd to build the party and the dancefloor in order to allow people to be their very best at their most important occasions. It is a tremendous privilege that I do not take for granted to have a job in which my goal and the source of my personal satisfaction is to make people happy–to push them to elation and create a sense of euphoria–all in a style that most suits them. Hi! My name is Jarryd Audette. I have been a professional, well-versed and excitable DJ/Entertainer with Supersounds Entertainment since 2011, thanks to my great friend Ryan Allendorf who suggested I join the company. I learned much from him, along with many of the great veteran DJs in this company! And, when they are combined, I am down-right inspired! As a DJ with Supersounds, and as a Musician since age 16, I’ve always been excited to be able to do and share a talent that I truly enjoy – which can usually be found in the moment on my face and/or with a few dance moves! Entertaining and helping others put on a great event/party is truly a great feeling that I take pride in no matter what the occasion. There’s always a certain eagerness, excitement, and wanting to do your best that comes along with helping make a day come true and to be part of a great memory in someone’s life! Being able to read/vibe/interact with a crowd, to be flexible, have a go-with-the-flow attitude and being veritable with my DJing and music choices over my hundreds of gigs over the years has served me very well… name a type of event and odds are I’ve probably done it! Above all, on the day of the event I indulge in making customers happy and working off of their design. I am not one to be biased with songs and genres, rather I enjoy the challenge of variety and to keep things interesting for everyone (if it calls for it)… a happy and filled dance floor is what I like to visualize and make happen! I started at Supersounds over 26 years ago as a High School Senior, with school dances and project graduations. Upon graduating from college, I decided to expand and try my luck with weddings. From that point on I have never looked back and I’ve completed over 500 weddings throughout New England! Flexibility is very important as a DJ as well as my other professions. I’m also an elementary school teacher and a varsity boys’ basketball coach. These three positions can create challenges as well quick on the fly thinking. Not only will I be there for you on your wedding day, but I will be a part of the entire process. Just always keep in mind it’s your special day. I’m here to help you!

My professional career in entertainment as a musician playing guitar and singing in bands began in 2002. I received my bachelor’s degree in music with a concentration in education in 2010 and realized how much I enjoyed the performance side of music and making memorable nights memorable. Since then I have been hosting weddings, adult & family events, and performing regularly at a wide variety of venues loving every minute of it! Your wedding day will be the fastest day of your life! Let me say that again; your wedding day will be the FASTEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. You will blink, and it will be done! Then you will say “I can’t believe how much fun we had!” So my advice is to take a moment during the wedding with your spouse, take them aside, take a deep breath, and just slow it down, and watch everything that’s happening. You’ll be happy you did, and you will have the best memories for years to come!!!! Savor the day! It will be tremendous! Why Someone Would Hire Me As A DJ, and What I feel are the most important parts of your wedding day! One of the best questions to ask your DJ is “why should you hire them?” What makes them different than any other DJ? I have many answers for this question. Firstly, you should hire me as your DJ because I care immensely about the success of all aspects of your wedding day, and help coordinate it all! I have heard way too many horror stories about DJs who were either too ignorant, or who just plain didn’t care to help coordinate important events at the wedding! You want a team-player at the most fun day of your life! That is why it’s so important to find someone who cares about your wedding day. You can tell this just by chatting on the phone with them, and getting a sense of their attitude. If you don’t like their attitude, stay away! There are many more aspects of a wedding that are so important to its success. I will cover them here below! Secondly, the ceremony sound is an area that I take great pride in, and so do all of the DJs at Supersounds. The ceremony sound is so important. How many times do you hear a wedding guest say “Yeah it was a beautiful wedding, but I couldn’t hear a word the officiant said!” I have heard that from others a lot! Notedly, outdoor sound can be difficult, however I have a proven regimen to get loud, clear sound despite windy days and/or a large attendance. CONTINUED ON WEBSITE

Congratulations as you begin to plan for your big day! I am a lifelong Vermonter who has grown up surrounded by music. Anytime there is a family gathering, one thing is for sure: there will be music, singing, and good times. From a very young age, I’ve been exposed to great music and have developed a love of all genres. On any given day, I’ll go from listening to The Beatles and Metallica, to Stevie Wonder, Tim McGraw or Beyonce, and just about everything else in between! I am a local middle school Special Education teacher with a strong passion for advocating for people with disabilities. I also have a background in coaching local high school Football and Basketball. As a teacher, coach, husband, and dad, I’ve learned how to be flexible and adaptive. This is essential when working a wedding. On July 20, 2019, I married my best friend Heather. I can honestly say that this was the most fun day of my life. Not coincidentally, the music was a highlight and our guests had as much fun as we did. I know from experience how important this day is and how difficult and stressful it can be to attend to the details. As your wedding DJ, you can trust that I will give you the individual attention you deserve and that I’ll go the extra mile to make sure that your big day is everything you’ve always dreamed it would be. Congratulations, and you’re getting married, and almost there! I’ve always had a love of music. From attending live shows at legendary venues like red rocks or the gorge, seeing a local band at a small venue here in Vermont , to even just a couple of friends playing on their porch, music never stops in my life. I love it! I grew up in Jericho Vermont, played every sport from Football, lacrosse, basketball, Snowboarding, to even competitive chess, and the list goes on. Since going to the NFL was out of the picture for me, snowboarding ultimately won the battle. My love of snowboarding brought me out to Summit county Colorado for a year, and eventually Bend Oregon for 7 years. Although snowboarding was the passion that brought me out west, I found a job doing tree work in Oregon and fell in love with it. But after 8 years away, it was time to return to Vermont, which has always felt like my true home. Whether working or attending, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been a part in many weddings! I’ve officiated friends weddings in Costa Rica, attended friends weddings in Portugal, and even been the best man at a wedding here in Vermont, along with a number of times of being a groomsman near and far. All of those times have been great, but I do love and enjoy bringing you and your guests as good as times as I’ve experienced, if not better!!! Food has always been a big passion of mine and I consider myself bi lingual because food is my love language. As someone who has eaten the best food of their life not only at Michelin star restaurants, but back alley restaurants and friends houses across the country. It’s all about who’s at the table with you! Having said that, if you’re not local to the area, I have great intel on where to eat for you and your guests leading up to your big day!
