that the flavors we chose during our cake tasting and actual flavors in our cake weren’t exactly similar. During our tasting, we fell in love the with pumpkin cake and cream cheese frosting, it was so rich and incredible. On our wedding day, we were looking forward to having those same flavors but were very confused as the cake was much lighter in color and lacked that pumpkin and cream cheese flavor. Natalie reassured me that those were indeed pumpkin and cream cheese, but it tasted more like vanilla and vanilla when comparing to what we had at the tasting. Our guests, however, loved the cake regardless of the flavor and were so impressed of how high the quality was! We even had guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever tasted!

The cakes were a success. We are obsessed!

in a hurry; less than 2 weeks to be exact. Not only did Natalie respond in a few hours, she agreed to the job and I couldn't have been happier. I had a million questions and requests and she was quick to respond and very accommodating. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and our guests were raving about how delicious it was! We also had her make several other desserts for the table and between the beignets, donut holes and cake pops,( which are seriously the best cake pops I have ever tasted) the table was empty by the end of the reception! She even made too much dough for the beignets and so brought about twice what we had ordered. She arranged and decorated the whole table, which was stunning, was prompt and everything was delicious...What more could you ask for??? She is more than reasonably priced and she travelled an hour to our new venue to deliver everything...which btw was in the pouring rain! I will be using her for everything dessert and cake in the future, her designs for every occasion cakes are on her instagram and they are not only pleasing to the eye, but the best cake I have ever had. Natalie, we couldn't be more pleased and I cannot thank you enough for everything!!! It is obvious that she puts her whole heart into all that she bakes...Natalie, you have a gift....thank you for making our day fabulous!!

a weekend to do 3 different cake tastings from other vendors, but she was not happy because none of them would accommodate exactly what she wanted in terms of flavors and size or design. I continued to search and found Natalie who is honestly the nicest most accommodating person! To those of you planning a wedding or special event, you know how important that is! She was willing to make exactly what my daughter wanted. Now, I am a cake person. I LOVE good cake and nothing disappoints me more than going to a wedding with blah cake. This cake was so yummy! The flavors were spot on and so good! Texture was moist and not too dense. I got many compliments. I ordered a 3 tier cake to serve 75 people and each layer was very tall. This served more than 75 for sure and we had cake to spare. I did have some cookies and other stuff so maybe not everyone ate cake. Natalie was right on time with delivery and even came in and set up my entire dessert display for me, even the items I ordered elsewhere. I had some extra flowers from our florist that she added. She took her time and made everything look really beautiful. Those of you doing a DIY wedding reception know just how awesome and helpful that is! One less thing I had to worry about. I could not be more happy about taking this chance!

I even let her pick the flavors and everything was to die for! She gave me multiple different flavors and everyone’s favorite was definitely the confetti cake flavor. She is just a bundle of joy and was SO EXCITED to personally deliver our cake to us, on time and looking professional! It was a joyful experience and can’t wait to use her services again! Will definitely recommend to friends!!

Seriously, I was most looking forward to trying her chocolate chip cookies, but I couldn't even get my hands on one because they were eaten by our guests before dinner even started! She even did an incredible job with our dessert display, it turned out way better than my original idea. She does both cakes and desserts, and will make any adjustments you'd like!

not too sweet and absolute perfection. We knew we HAD to have the cake at our wedding . A year later, we called the restaurant to find out they no longer serve the cake as the pastry chef had left. However, we got lucky as the hostess of the restaurant knew the chef’s fiancé who happened to also be a pastry chef. We got her number and the rest was history. Natalie is a complete pro! She was already “booked” on our wedding day, but offered an alternative to pick up the cake the night before. She also helped us select the perfect size for the amount of guests, design for our budget and was so flexible since we really wanted fresh tropical flowers on the cake. It wasn’t until maybe a week before our special day, when we were coordinating pick up and fresh flowers that I found out it was actually her wedding day as well. We felt so humbled she honored us with baking the wedding cake of our dreams the night before her own wedding. The fresh flowers didn’t time well with the pickup, so Natalie couldn’t decorate, however, our pineapple rum cake tasted so amazing it didn’t even matter!!! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how unique it tastes, not too boozy & not too sweet. It was perfect! We cannot recommend Natalie at Sweet As Love enough! Thank you! ❤️
