Sweets by LaDawn is by far the best bakery in Cincinnati. My husband and I tasted multiple bakeries across Cincinnati and Dayton, and LaDawn's cake is by far the most delicious. I can't recommend her enough! You won't go wrong with this bakery.

Ladawn is AMAZING! She made my wedding cake dreams come true! Her service is impeccable, she's friendly as can be, and the cake was the most delicious food I've ever had. My guests raved about her cake all through the ceremony. So excited to receive my first anniversary cake so I can experience it all over again! If you don't go to Ladawn, you are missing out!

We had the best experience with LaDawn. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She took into account our desires for our cake and also offered helpful advice on how much we needed for our guest count. We ultimately trusted her to make the design based on our wedding colors and we could not have been more thrilled with how beautiful and tasty it was!

Amazing experience start to finish! She did an amazing job on the cake. We ordered a 102 serving cake and had no extra from our 80 person wedding which shows how good it was! Everyone enjoyed the cake! Also included in our purchase, was a 1 year anniversary cake which is so nice! Highly recommend!

We had LaDawn from Sweets by Ladawn to do our wedding cake and cakes for our guests. It was so good we got enough cake for more than 150 people and had 100 people come to our wedding having no cake left over! Just a little cake from our own personal wedding cake - not for the guests. 10/10 recommend!!!! Be ready for another review by us for our baby shower in the future, cause Sweets by Ladawn will for sure be the one making our cakes/cupcakes and any sweets possible!!!

Thank you Ladawn for helping to make our wedding amazing! Your cupcakes were a total hit. From our first time going into the store to our tasting to the big day, you all were so caring, kind and courteous (and the options you provided us with were so tasty!) Y’all provided us with an amazing experience. We went with a “death by chocolate” (chocolate toffee cake, chocolate bavarian cream and chocolate buttercream) concept for one set of cupcakes and, that absolutely knocked the socks off of our guests. When I say that we have dreams about these cupcakes… LaDawn was absolutely excellent- especially for those looking to support a locally owned business. They were definitely the right choice for us!

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were so beautiful and delicious. LaDawn was kind enough to cut the cake for us to ensure we had an adequate number of servings. She also decorated with greens and it was perfection!

Ms. LaDawn was a pleasure to work with in helping us design our wedding cake. She was professional, knowledgeable and her cakes were affordable. The tasting were all we needed to sign on the dotted lines. The tastings were huge and we had enough to share with family. All delicious. Our cake was simple and beautiful just as we asked. It was the talk of the night! We highly recommend Sweets by LaDawn bakery for any event. We wanted a small intimate wedding and Ms. LaDawn was very helpful in making sure we didn’t order too much cake for our small event. We were very nervous going into this process but she reassured us and helped us through the process with grace and good energy. We will be back!

We found Dawn at the bridal expo last year, and what a find! Aside from being a fantastic ambassador for her business, she was handing out samples of the most delicious cake we have ever tasted. We signed a contract right then! The cake was absolutely gorgeous, made exactly as we had designed it, delivered timely, set up beautifully, and tasted divine! People raved about it! I cannot recommend her artistic and delicious talent enough! Don't sleep on the white almond cake with raspberry filling. It is one of the best sweets you will EVER eat!

We had cupcakes and cheesecake at our wedding and it was DELICIOUS! Everyone loved it. LaDawn did a great job setting everything up and everything went smoothly. I'd highly recommend.

Got one cake for us to cut and cupcakes for guests. Everyone loved them and I think they were all gone by the end of the night. They looked amazing and tasted amazing. The process of working with them was simple and smooth making it something I knew I didn't have to stress about for the wedding. I highly recommend using them. The best cake I have ever had.!

Our wedding cake by LaDawn was provided as exactly as we wanted. She was great to work with and made for a smooth wedding day with no added stress.

I have over 3 meetings with her planning my wedding cake as well as having my parents stop in store to make sure the order details were all correct. Deposit was paid weeks before the wedding day. She contacted me herself to make the full payment 2 weekend before the wedding which I did. On my wedding day, she was no where to be found. There was no way of reaching her and there was no cake delivered. There was not even a call informing us of any situation that might have come up. I had to call her the day after my wedding and she didn't even realize that she missed delivering a cake for a wedding until I reminded her. Not only was it a failed delivery but the cake was not even made. She could remember to contact me 2 weeks before my wedding to collect a payment after weeks of having no contact but she forgets to make and delivery my wedding cake 2 weeks later. It's been 3 weeks now and I have still yet to even receive a refund for her. Just absolutely unprofessional, unacceptable and just so ridiculous. If you would like to have your wedding cake delivered on your wedding day, I would not recommend you hire her.

We used Sweets by LaDawn for our wedding in May and we were extremely happy with the cake. It looked beautiful and tasted great as well. We also have to give her props for making a fantastic gluten free cake for our gluten sensitive guests. She was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. We have used her as well for our birthday cakes and we are always happy.

LaDawn and her team did an amazing job on our wedding cake and cupcakes. The flavors were on point and everything was super moist! Everyone there was super easy to work and very helpful. Would 100% recommend Sweets by LaDawn for any and all baking good needs you may have.

We got our Wedding dessert from Sweets by LaDawn. We had cupcakes and a personal cake for us to cut. The planning process was smooth and LaDawn was a great help. The cake was moist and perfect! Sweets by LaDawn was AMAZING to work with! She was able to help us envision what we wanted for our cupcakes and helped figure out the best way to display them at our wedding. She incorporated our wedding theme into the design, which was very important to us and also allowed us to mix a few different flavors as well. Everything was delicious and fantastic. Our cake was perfect! Moist and delicious and we got lots of compliments! Ladawn is very easy to work with and places the flowers I got from my florist onto the cake beautifully!

Sweets by LaDawn made cupcakes for our 2/22/22 Wedding and a 3 tier cake for our reception held later. Both were wonderful with a soft and moist texture but topped off with a delightful, buttercream. The cake was perfect for our summer outdoor celebration and was pefectly portioned for our guest count! Thank you LaDawn.
