We didn’t want anything extravagant but LaDawn still did a flawless job. The cake looked fabulous and tasted even better. A year later and we’re still drooling over the taste of our strawberry wedding cake. The process for getting a wedding cake made by LaDawn was also great! We particularly loved the cake tasting which left us with so much leftover cake that we felt positively spoiled. The design process was clear and easy as well, even though we got a simple design we felt like she could make us anything we requested. Between the cake tasting and the final product we also feel like we got a really great value. We have also ordered sheet cakes from LaDawn. Several for the wedding guests and one for our baby shower. They were great as we have come to expect from Cakes by LaDawn. You can really tell that she goes out of her way to make sure your special dessert is made to your complete satisfaction and I’m positive that whatever you order from her will please you and your guests.

was the best cake I’ve ever eaten, period. The flavor, the texture, the presentation… everything was perfect. It wasn’t just cake—it was an experience. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Our guests are still talking about it, and more than one person asked for the name of the baker that night. If you want something unforgettable for your wedding (or any special occasion), I cannot recommend Sweets by LaDawn enough. LaDawn work is beyond amazing—she doesn’t just bake cakes; she creates edible art.

preciated. Giving 5 stars despite the cake not “stretching” as far as LaDawn said it would. Was supposed to feed 115. I had 70 guests and no cake left, which was suspicious. It was also much smaller than I had envisioned.

YGOODNESS. The perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The texture was soft and spongy. The cake was moist and held its shape all night! And the filling as well as the buttercream frosting complimented the cake perfectly. The cake tasting was such a fun experience during the stress of wedding planning and made for a fun date night. She was so helpful when it came to designing the cake. I knew I wanted something simple but elegant & showed her a few inspo pictures. On the day of our wedding I left some flowers on the cake table and gave her creative freedom and she blew my expectations out of the water.

e sold to choose her for our wedding! She was so accommodating to our needs and there is definitely something for everyone no matter the occasion. We did a small cake for just the wedding party and parents, and then cupcakes, brownies, and cookies for our guests! Everything was very affordable as well. Her cake and desserts were such a hit at our wedding, that we decided to go With LaDawn again for our gender reveal cake and baby shower desserts. She does such a wide range of designs from simple to very detailed and decorated cakes and cupcakes. We will definitely continue to go to Sweets by LaDawn even if it’s just to pick up a sweet treat during the week. Everything she makes is delicious and her service is impeccable. We appreciate everything she’s done for us so much and highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for some delicious sweets.

We chose to pick up our wedding cake the day before and decorate ourselves, but it turned out absolutely fabulous! Beautifully crafted and so delicious with her real buttercream and the cake consistency being on point! We could not ask for a better experience.

el. My wedding cake presentation was breath taking. It was Absolutely Gorgeous! We had a 4 tier cake with fruit filling and buttercream icing with cupcakes in a variety of flavors tiered surrounding the main cake that feed 200 guests. The flavors (Orange Dream, Lemon, Marble, Spice, Key Lime, and Strawberry)(just a few flavor options) we selected for our tasting made it difficult to make the selection for the wedding because they were all so moist and delicious. And lets not forget about the many fruit fillings with the different types of icing you can choose from. All the guests loved the cake and cupcakes flavors so much that my husband and I only received a taste when we cut the cake. The guest raved about how delicious it was. You can not go wrong with Sweets by Ladawn. The Grants would like to thank Sweets by LaDawn, she helped make our day special with her incredible delicious cake flavors.
