The contract was easy to understand and read with no surprises. We were able to use our our vendors (expect for the bar but they have 3 amazing choices). We used Hill Country Events and they were WONDERFUL! The staff was very responsive and very friendly. I highly recommend!

They have SO MUCH PARKING! Bridal Suite and Grooms room. Bar and Catering Space already allocated. Stage for DJ or maybe the wedding party or the head table? We used it for DJ. Many “back” doors, which came in handy when trying to sneak the me (the bride) around to different spots before the ceremony started. It was absolutely PERFECT! It was also available the night before our wedding. We were able to have our venue hall for 8 hours the day before, to rehearsal and have a rehearsal dinner right in the same space. For an affordable additional cost. WAY cheaper than where we got the dinner food from AND we got to rehearse! The ability to flip an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony was important to us, because if you know Texas, you know you NEVER know what the weather will do. And it sure did pull a fast one on us and we had to move the once planned outdoor ceremony indoors. I came in for a tour back in April 2024 already knowing I wanted Sage Hall. We toured them all, and my heart led us right back to Sage Hall. It already had the Disney Fairy Tale aesthetic we were looking for. We didn't have to add much to the room to make it the perfect space and backdrop for our wedding day. Even though it was cold and rainy....we could not let the day pass without getting some pictures outside...and I am so glad we did. We did not get to get as many as I would have liked, obviously due to weather, but I would HIGHLY recommend planning your engagement, bridal, wedding and any other photo shoots you can in their many beautiful spots outdoors at your venue. I really wished I could have gotten to the tree swing....but it was too wet and I had allowed my dress to get pretty wet as it was. The staff, Kara, Amy & Stephanie were super responsive, attentive and a JOY to work with from the moment we contacted them, all the way through the wedding day and after as they followed up with us. I can see myself and my family possibly using Texas Old Town as a venue for other celebrations in the future. We just love it so much! THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR DAY EVERYTHING IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE!

e. There’s even a little waterfall perfect for photos. We had the hall to ourselves from 8 AM till the event. We also had our own personal event coordinator who was available for questions or to resolve issues on site. Leading up to the event, the venue staff was very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. They also provided recommended vendors. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place and the people.

We did have to hire someone to decorate and set up but that’s it. I loved that we got to have a wedding the way we wanted.

Texas Old Town checked off all our boxes and were there for us every step of the way! We were able to swing by our venue prior to the big day to aid with our planning. They even offered a suggested list of vendors, which helped us to locate our bartender. On the day of the wedding, it was super convenient having both an indoor area in the event of inclement weather and an outdoor area complete with a fire pit so our guests could mingle and play games while roasting smores. 😁 It turned out to be a very beautiful day!

The venue takes pride in keeping their couples happy, providing us access to a lot of events and chances to speak to vendors which made it so easy for us to find our team for the big day. For the day-of the venue hosts showed up routinely to make sure everything was running smoothly and even eased our final transition out that evening. They were there to answer any questions along the way and we took advantage of all the walk-throughs offered as we took some with our families.

The venue was reasonably priced and had a number of optional add-ons (e.g., set-up, yard games) that we did not take advantage of. The only possible things to be aware of: we were informed that anything left behind after midnight would immediately be thrown away, and the parking lot was a little dark at the end of our reception (11:00pm). Overall, we highly recommend working with Texas Old Town for your wedding!

We had to ice down our own beer in storage containers after being told they would have enough ice and ice chests for our 200+ guest wedding. They were NOT prepared and not kind.
