He made sure to clarify all wedding party names and the day of he pronounced everything perfectly. He curated different playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception to match the mood. The reception mix that he put together was everything we could have asked for and more! He kept the energy going until the end of the night and played so many songs we suggested along with others that fit our style perfectly. Ourselves and our wedding guests are big music festival attendees and Kelvon did a great job of blending our requests with fan favorites which kept everyone out on the dancefloor all night long. I can’t recommend Kelvon enough and am so grateful we chose him for our wedding.

For a Sunday wedding we were beyond lit and stayed on the dance floor all night which was my main request from Kelvon and he did not disappoint us or our guests. My best friend is getting married next year and I will begging her to book Kelvon for her wedding. I got so many compliments about the music (and so many complaints about the sore feet following!!) The few minutes before the wedding ceremony were not as expected/planned from a set up standpoint. We were also a little indecisive on some of our music, Reggie gave us great ideas but never felt like he was pushing us in a certain direction. Start to finish it was an amazing experience!!

He didn't play all of our "must plays" so if you've got a very set vision, make sure to specify that. Our priority though was to keep the dance floor full the whole night and Shannon most definitely did that so we didn't mind. He even coordinated some extra "activities" throughout the night that we never would have thought to do but were a really fun time. We got lots of compliments from guests as well!

such a down to earth type of guy and his ability to mix music and get everyone dancing the entire night was superb. He was easy to talk to, more than happy to go over music selection with us and handled directing our reception night as it went on. We didn’t have to have to worry about a thing. p with the Mother/Son dance and the wrong song was playing and it took about 8 minutes to find the right song, but it wasn't the right artist singing. There were about 5-6 moments throughout the night when the music/speakers stopped and the dance floor went silent. Some of the silence lasted almost a minute and put a bit of a damper on the mood. The last song was also the correct song, but was a cover of the song and not by the original artist. The music selection was great and the transitions between songs were awesome, but these few hiccups are unfortunately the parts that stick out to us looking back.

He was so friendly and professional, I knew I was in good hands. He listened to all of my ideas and incorporated them flawlessly. I knew we would have a great night. Kelvon was an outstanding DJ! He played everything I wanted and nothing that I didn’t want. He kept the dance floor busy all night by judging the crowd properly. The photo booth option was also a huge hit and Kelvon did a great job of explaining how it works to my guest. Kelvon helped to make my wedding reception truly a night to remember. If you are thinking about hiring a DJ, stop because That’s My DJ should already be your choice.

to so many different DJ’s I had already started to feel like we connected and he would be my DJ but I kept telling myself I need to think on it more but never the less I kept coming back to Kelvon at that point I knew I had to Book him. Now 2 days after my wedding my husband and I are so happy we did! He knew just what to play to get everybody out of there seats. He knew just the music they wanted to hear. He was awesome! All around he was a nice person even before I met him in person. He instantly worked well with my coordinator that I brought in last minute. Do to the pandemic I had to make lots of changes last minute. He went with the flow and even bent a few corners for us in which he didn’t charge us for. He gave us a card and he’s sending us a wedding gift! You can’t find a DJ better than that. Everybody just kept saying your DJ is turnt! He just went and fit right in like family. He helped me out a lot with how a wedding is suppose to run too. He also brought in another DJ to help and he was nice as well. I love this company! I stand behind companies that care about there customers and treat them well. I’m a fan forever. If you are going back and forward trying to decide on a DJ book him! Don’t stress anymore! Don’t waste energy like I did go with your first mind and relax. Anytime I need a DJ in the future he will be my first call.
