We live in California, and my daughter was excited to have her wedding in Kauai, where she was born. When we started doing research on possible venues, we came upon Tiffany, the ev...ent planner for the Beach House. From the first time we talked to her on the phone, it was clear Tiffany was experienced in planning gorgeous weddings and that she really knew her stuff. That I could totally rely on her.
And it turned out to be so true. Throughout the whole planning process, Tiffany was so on-top of things, always quick to respond to our texts and emails, to answer our questions, concerns and special requests. She sent pictures and videos to show us how incredibly lovely this wedding was going to be. The communication was perfect.
The October wedding was on the ocean, in the grassy area in front of the Beach House. It was absolutely perfect and beautiful in every conceivable way… from the flowers, to the table settings and decor, and most importantly to Tiffany’s incredible team that made it all happen: the wonderful Musician, Paul Togioka, the DJ, Ben. The photographer and videographer, Aya Productions, who put together a most professional and emotional 60 second “teaser” video that still puts us in tears every time we watch it. Can’t wait to get the rest of the photos and videos!
The wedding exceeded our expectations. There were no hiccups, no hitches, no surprises. Everything was planned perfectly. Frannie, the manager of the BH who was in charger overall that evening, had her constant eye on everything to make sure things went smoothly. A special thanks to Frannie! It was an absolutely stunning celebration, and it was obvious everybody in attendance (70 people) had an awesome time. Many told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to.
Also, thanks and gratitude to the amazing, officiant, Jade, a Hawaiian Kapu. The Hawaiian ceremony she conducted was unique and so very beautiful and meaningful. It was especially wonderful as we love the island and used to live on the North Shore. Kauai is where our daughter was born, where she is Kamaʻāina (a child of the land). Jade included Hawaiian rituals and culture in the service, and it couldn’t have been more lovely and profound to us.
Last but not least… the location!!! Oh my gosh. Overlooking the ocean as the sunset, it felt like we were in a dream or in heaven. The weather was perfect, the sky so lovely, the setting was stunning.
Mahalo to Tiffany and everyone that made this dream come to for our daughter, for her amazing new husband, and all loved their ones!
