The Bonnie's unique layout of multiple rooms, intimate spaces, and a sprawling bar garden can accommodate events from 10 to 200 guests. Celebrations may be booked for brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktail ceremonies and receptions, as well as wedding showers, welcome parties, rehearsal dinners and farewell brunches. We have an extensive array of customizable food and beverage packages available, including various party platters and open bar options. Guests at The Bonnie enjoy the warm ambiance and personalized service, while our experienced staff ensures that every detail is managed with care, creating a seamless and enjoyable event.

Events Director
Tali is the Event Director for The Bonnie and Sweet Afton in Astoria, as well as a theater artist. Her love of producing theater, paired with her 15 years experience in NYC's hospitality industry, led her to the world of Event Management. She has directed productions and events from 5 to 200 people, and loves collaborating with clients and a team to create unique, personalized moments for guests and audiences alike. Tali provides a unique understanding and excitement for her clients' big life moments, and looks forward to working with you to bring your vision to life!

We hosted our wedding at The Bonnie this October and it was absolutely perfect! We wanted to do something a bit less traditional and we had one of our first dates there, so it felt...
really special. We had just under 100 people attend and were able to do everything under one roof- the ceremony was in the back garden and with all of the greenery/Bonnie decor already in place, it looked beautiful. We added small personalized touches throughout the space but you really don’t have to decorate much- everything is already such a pretty vibe and they give you the option to use their flowers etc. Their Events Manager, Tali, is a dream to work with. She’s incredibly professional and has clearly been doing this for some time. The entire planning process was a breeze knowing that she was taking care of things. She was also very communicative over the course of the year leading up and we never had to question when/if things were being handled. If you’ve eaten here you know the food is delicious but they really knocked it out of the park! We are still getting compliments about the food and service. The bartenders and entire staff were so kind, quick, and fun to be around!! 10/10 from the moment we visited!

We'd been going to The Bonnie for years, and when we started looking for a wedding venue, it seemed like a no-brainer. We had just over 100 guests and the space was perfect for it ...
- plenty of space across the interior rooms and the outdoor backyard area. We did the ceremony right in the backyard and it looked absolutely beautiful. Tali, the event coordinator, is so sweet and was absolutely incredible to work with, she was so kind and accommodating throughout our year of going back and forth and was there for us whenever we had questions or needed help coordinating with other vendors. Chef Nick is a culinary genius (and after the fact we watch the episode where he won Chopped), and the bartenders are wonderful and incredibly friendly, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and many of our guests told us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. We used their house DJ as well, DJ Chambray All Day, and he completely knocked it out of the park. It was amazing having everything all under one roof for the wedding, and was much less expensive than the other venues we looked at especially considering that with other places we would have had to book catering, drinks, chair rentals, etc all separately. They also already have a lot of greenery in their backyard space which helped us save money when hiring a florist. Tali made everything so easy and we were so happy to be able to do everything in one place. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of our experience working with The Bonnie and would absolutely recommend it as a wedding venue if you are considering it!

nt out of her way to accommodate all of our needs and go over every detail, even ones we hadn't thought of. She was patient with our questions and concerns and worked through each one with us.
Chef Nick created the exact menu we wanted and finagled things to make sure it was within our budget. He was also extremely accommodating to guests with dietary needs and difficult allergies.
The reception was magical and EVERYONE we've talked to since has commented on how amazing the staff was, from our florist, to our parents to the most picky eater. To quote one of our aunts 'It was like the staff was part of the celebration'
There were also fireflies at the end of the reception--you can't plan that, but it was pretty special.

ype A and had a million questions, as did my family, and she was unbelievably responsive and accommodating. Moreover, we were blown away that Chef Nick was willing to create a custom menu for us, and continued to come up with great ideas for how to enhance our guests' experience. We had about 135 guests and rented the entire restaurant, and it was perfect. On the day of the reception, everything from the food, to the cocktails, to the service, to the decor exceeded our expectations. Christine and her team went above and beyond to personalize every detail and to create a welcoming and relaxed yet classy vibe for our guests. All night we had family and friends coming up to us to tell us that we had the best wedding food/drinks they'd ever had. All in all, Christine and her staff were super friendly and professional. If you're considering having a private event here, you won't regret it!
