As the mother of the bride I wanted this wedding to be everything my daughter dreamed it would be because of all the joy, love and pride she has brought to our family. From the moment I met with Sheila at the Event Group, I knew in my heart that she truly understood how important it was to me that this day be absolutely perfect for my daughter. Sheila told us she was available day and night, and she truly was, actually within minutes. She went with my daughter and I to choose save the dates, invitations and patiently waited while we looked through several books. Sheila and her team know all the vendors in Pittsburgh and even those out of town. Sheila introduced us to Kate another dedicated event coordinator to work with us. She was professional, wise, kind and organized and all in a loving caring way. They both helped us to choose fabulous vendors that fit into our vision for the wedding. They offered lovely suggestions and ideas along the way all fitting in to our wedding theme of warmth and love. They were so knowledgeable about etiquette, traditions and every wedding detail to keep us on a timeline. The wedding was a dream come true for my daughter and of course me as well. This was all made possible by Sheila, Kate and the Event Group team.

Sheila Weiner and her team are the most amazing event planners I have ever met. They are professional, prompt, honest, creative, genuine and absolutely make you feel like yours is the only event they are planning. They answer their cells phones 99% of the time and are therefore very accessible. I have done five weddings and one 90th birthday party with them and each event was very different and utterly amazing. They travel to other states too. I love these people. They personally care about me and my family too. I’ve also attended many, many events they have done. And I will use them again. The Event Group is simply outstanding!!!

I would highly recommend The Event Group. Sheila Weiner has an awesome team. I specifically worked with Shelia Weiner and Kate Caffrey, but the entire team is awesome. They are top notch at everything and they made my wedding planning experience very fun and enjoyable. Not to mention, they delivered my dream wedding. From communication, staying on budget, taking care of every single detail, creating an excellent guest experience, having relationships with all the top vendors in Pittsburgh and the list goes on. I absolutely LOVED my florist, band, photographer, hair & makeup artist, linens, lightening, etc. The only reason I knew about these vendors was because of Sheila's recommendations otherwise I would have probably spent hours upon hours researching vendors or asking people and still not have ended up being sure of my picks. Sheila will only recommend the best and this gave me a high level of comfort throughout the process.

The Event Group is, by far, the best event planning company we have EVER come across. Not only are Sheila and the girls amazing to work with, they are extremely professional on all levels and their attention to detail is astounding. They are SO creative with their ideas while also understanding everything I try and convey about my personal visions. The Event Group has planned several parties for us including our wedding, two 30th birthday parties, a surprise 60th birthday party, an All Star party for my husband (and more!) and each one turned out beyond our expectations! I can not recommend them enough for any and every party/ life event that you have. Thanks ladies for always being so much fun❤️

I would recommend The Event Group a million times over! No task was too big or small for them to accomplish. They are very professional and really delivered on making our wedding day (and my bridal shower!!) exactly how we imagined. Everything ran smoothly and I never felt like I had to worry about a single thing the day of, everything went off without a hitch! Sheila and Kate were a dream to work with and I truly felt like they cared about every little detail just as much as I did. Hands down best event/wedding planners in Pittsburgh!!

We worked with the Event Group team in November of 2017 for our wedding planning and coordination. Our wedding weekend was absolutely spectacular down to the minute & their team was instrumental with making sure that everything was perfect. Our weekend went off without a hitch, thanks to their team! We had family and friends coming in from all over and 4 days of events over Light Up Night downtown so it was extremely busy! We couldn’t have done it without them and their team. Thank you ladies!! ❤️🙏

The Event Group has got to be the best in the industry. From start to finish, they were responsive, professional, detail oriented and extremely invested in making my big day perfect. I booked this wedding planner just over two years ahead of my wedding. I had planned to interview multiple planners, but after meeting Sheila I was sold. She is classy, polished, calm and professional. She listened to my vision and understood it immediately. She is extremely experienced and gave me all the trust and confidence in her. Although I booked early, The Event Group was ready to hit the ground running. It was fun for me to start the planning ahead of schedule, and they were willing to accommodate that. They always made me feel like everything was under control, and they took care of a lot of the less glamorous aspects of wedding planning from behind the scenes. They were available to meet whenever I wanted, and they responded to emails, texts and phone calls unbelievably quickly, At the 6 month countdown mark, the planning picked up. The team thought of every detail, even things I had never considered before! They helped liaise with vendors to get me what I wanted, keep track of timelines, and even communicate with family members. They came with me to every meeting and brought photos, notes, and a clear idea of what I wanted. They even thought of new and creative ideas to make my wedding unique. My wedding day went off without a hitch. If there were any issues, I didn't know about them. I got so many glowing compliments from friends and family that not a detail was forgotten. I felt like these people became my friends and were so invested in my wedding day being all I dreamed of. I would share my wedding day with them again and would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.
