The Hidden Acre

The Hidden Acre is a wedding venue located in Waverly, IA. The vast 12,000-square foot venue can accommodate large wedding events for 300+ guests. With large open fields surrounding the area, couples are sure to have a private location where they can celebrate with their friends & loved ones. The Hidden Acre was founded by four long-time friends. The friendships date all the way back to high school starting with Lori and Allison. From there the bond continued to grow. Once the friends married their husbands, Craig and Jeremiah, the circle of besties organically grew. They have all been a major part of each other's lives and have raised kids together, worked together, and gone on holidays altogether. Through the strength of their bond, they have now all decided to be business partners together, and thus The Hidden Acre was born. The large white structure romantically sits raised above the grassy land. The modern twist to a barn-like building offers a beautiful and sophisticated environment for couples to host elegant weddings. The minimalist aesthetic to the interior and exterior provides an ideal location for newlyweds to transform and personalize the space. At the front of the venue sits a large entrance that can be used for grand entrances and exits. Once inside, a large high-ceiling banquet hall awaits. This room can be arranged with long and stately tables in order to host a grand feast. Long wood plank ceilings also lie within the room which add to the open concept and create a modern flare. Other features also include a full-service bar, get-ready-rooms, and family room. In addition to the indoor space, the rolling grassland provides a whimsical setting for ceremonies. These outdoor areas can be embellished with a variety of decorations such as arbors, flowers, and drapery.
