I was extremely displeased with my experience at Makeup Loft. I scheduled a trial with the Makeup Loft and tried to select a specific makeup artist, but they do not allow that. They select the artist for you without you ever seeing their work. ...
To schedule a trial, you must make a non-refundable $250 deposit. My original trial was scheduled with one artist, but then was cancelled for weather and when I went to reschedule the trial I was assigned a totally different hairstylist and makeup artist. I paid $250 for a deposit on top of $200 for the trial services and was EXTREMELY displeased. The makeup and hair aged me at least 15 years. I had wrinkles I didn’t even knew existed and my hair did not look anything like the picture I showed the hairstylist. On top of hating the way my makeup looked, it also separated on my face 30 minutes after I left. I am now out $450 and back at the drawing board 4 months out from my wedding. The staff at the Makeup Loft is nice and friendly but I am extremely disappointed with their process as well as the results.
