I helped my sister book The Makeup Loft for her wedding and after working with them I knew I wanted to book them for my wedding as well. Allie was prompt with responses to any questions I had and was helpful through the planning process. Jackie and Jalyn were wonderful to work with and gave me the exact look I was hoping for! They were so sweet, prompt and kept right on schedule for the day. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked amazing and fit each ladies personality. Highly recommend!

I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and that is all thanks to the Makeup Loft! From the beginning, before I even signed the contract, the ladies at the Makeup Loft were a joy to work with. Allie was a wonderful coordinator - she answered all my questions and communicated promptly. My trial was so much fun and I felt like I was truly heard. On my wedding day the 4 stylists - Taylor (MUA), Ryleigh (MUA), Chaney (Hair Stylist), and Mikayla (Hair Stylist) were right on time, set up very quickly, and were ready to go. The kept everyone on schedule and were out the door at the correct time. Logistics aside - everyone looked STUNNING. Like truly the most gorgeous version of themselves. What I love about Makeup Loft is they don't try to transform you; they truly bring out the beauty you already have. There were many selfies taken. The hair was similarly magical. It didn't matter if the girls had the thickest curly hair or the finest straight hair everyone's vision became a reality. I have to shout out my personal stylists who I could not possibly say enough positive things about. Chaney must have special powers because I don't know how she managed to get my hair to look like it did. I have always had fine curly hair, and she somehow got it to look like the pictures below in about an hour. I got so many compliments all night (and yes, it stayed exactly like that all night). And Taylor. Taylor is not only an amazing MUA but she is also an amazing person to have with you on your wedding day. My make-up was perfect. I was glowing and I have never felt more beautiful. She took my trial look and elevated it x1000. The make-up lasted all night through multiple hours of dancing. Taylor also went above and beyond to help with my mom who has dementia. She made sure she looked beautiful and was taken care of all morning. The compassion and care she showed me and her on this day really means and says so much about her, the rest of the team (who were also amazing with her), and the Makeup Loft in general. If you want to look like the best version of yourself, feel like a princess, and be treated like family I cannot recommend Makeup Loft enough!!!

All of my bridesmaids were VERY happy with their hair and makeup, and my mom, who is over 70 felt so happy and confident with the way she looked. artist/hair stylist so you don’t know exactly what you’re signing up for. But, after looking through The Makeup Lofts Instagram, I felt comfortable putting down the deposit and I’m so happy I did! Ryleigh ended up being my makeup artist and Chaney was my hair stylist. Malari also joined on the wedding day and did both hair and makeup. All of them were so sweet and did such an amazing job! I felt so beautiful (but still like myself!) both after my trial and on the wedding day and my bridesmaids also looked gorgeous! I’m not a super big hair/makeup person so it was a bit hard for me to describe what exactly I was looking for, but Ryleigh and Chaney were able to bring my vision to life! the wedding, but the Makeup Loft was very accommodating and allowed me to schedule another trial, which I really appreciated. We had 10 people getting their hair done and 8 getting makeup. There were two hairstylists and one makeup artist. As we started to run over our planned timeline, one of the hairstylists jumped in to help with makeup to keep things moving. While the overall experience was good, we did end up running about 30 minutes behind schedule. With how tight wedding timelines can be, it was definitely stressful trying to get back to the hotel in time to meet the photographer.

my hair or makeup done by other businesses in the past as a bridesmaid, I have felt like I didn’t look like myself. Even though they have a lot of artists, my trial was scheduled with the same artists who would be doing my hair and makeup for my wedding day. Jackie, our hair stylist, took a lot of time to look through my inspiration photos and give me advice on what would look best and stay in place for my hair, and I loved what we ended up with after the trial. I ended up changing my mind later and wanted my hair up instead of down. I was able to schedule an additional trial last minute and my hair turned out perfect for my wedding day and stayed in place all day. Jackie was kind, efficient, and made me, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mom and MIL all look beautiful in 4 hours! If I could have, I would have made Taylor, our makeup artist, another bridesmaid in my wedding. The consultation that we had made me feel so much better about having my makeup professionally done for the wedding, fixed a couple things that I didn’t like, and she told me multiple times afterwards to look at the pictures of my trial makeup regularly and if I wasn’t in love with it every time I looked that we should change some things up. On wedding day she showed up with her same bright and warm personality and all of the wedding party immediately fell in love with her. She went so far above and beyond what I would ever expect of a makeup artist just by being there that day and making all of the girls feel beautiful. Not all of my bridesmaids got makeup done but some paid for lashes and the whole bridal party looked amazing. Words can’t do justice to the service we received and I will be forever grateful. We got ready at the makeup loft and the girls there made space for snacks and coffee, we played our own music and sang and danced all morning in the beautiful loft. The girls who did their own makeup were able to use the chairs and mirrors and everyone had tons of space to get ready. It was exactly what we needed for our big wedding party and worked out perfectly. I will forever recommend the makeup loft to anyone I know because of my experience.

ake me feel so glamorous without looking over the top or feeling like I had a million layers of makeup on. They were on time and efficient and got all the bridesmaids done with time to spare. I was hesitant to pay extra for a trial before hand, but I'm glad I did because I knew exactly what to expect the day of, and Jackie helped me decide what hair piece to wear. I didn't end up wanting to change a thing!

et me, the bridal party and mother-in-law at the hotel. And they nailed it again! The makeup was perfect for everyone with what they wanted. And the hairstyle they all picked, all turned out beautifully. And of course, they crushed mine again and I felt absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend both!

makeup artist did an amazing job on myself and the 8 other ladies that had the pleasure of her service. Overall, they did wonderfully and it’s reasonably priced! (The hair extensions are pretty costly but it’s optional so I can’t complain!)

during my trial and even made changes based on my requests but also things she realized could be better, which I so appreciated because she is the expert. I loved my makeup on the day of and it lasted all day long (from 8am to midnight- impressive!). Also, special shoutout to Allie for always making sure communication is clear- makes the whole process that much better especially when planning a wedding. Highly recommend the makeup loft for anyone looking for a hair/makeup vendor in Michigan!

trials to get the look that I was envisioning, and my wedding day look was literally picture perfect. I had sort of a difficult-to-achieve hairstyle and they absolutely killed it. Same with my makeup, and all my bridesmaids looks as well. I do not get my makeup done often and when I do, I usually don't love it but I could not find a single thing to improve when they were finished. Seriously such a great team of girls and so talented. They were timely on the day of, accommodating, friendly, positive, etc etc etc.

and makeup artists made recommendations on what I could do to make sure my hair and skin looked its best for my wedding day. The don't pressure you to buy anything and they make you feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. I am so thankful for Taylor and Ashley, they made my entire bridal party and I look fantastic the day of my wedding. I will be back for formal events in the future!!

beautiful! Rachel & Megan were so professional, timely & fun to work with, making the wedding day morning comfortable and fun. Rachel was sure to confirm with me multiple times that I was happy with my hair and made all the tweaks I requested since I couldn't make up my mind and it turned out absolutely perfect!
