We used The MC Hotel as our hotel block for our wedding and loved it. The hotel itself is beautiful, very updated, and all of our guests really enjoyed it. During the planning proc...ess, they were very accommodating and ensured we had a very specific suite to use for me and bridesmaids to ensure we had enough space for hair and makeup. We did have to constantly follow-up with the sales team for updates on our room blocked as guests booked - but they were helpful in allowing us to add more rooms to our block twice.
We also gathered at the rooftop bar, Alto, following our rehearsal dinner elsewhere, which our guests really enjoyed. Our guests also really enjoyed the views of New York City from their rooms.
Importantly, the staff were very patient with my husband’s elderly grandparents. During times when they were having “senior moments” in the lobby, the staff always looked out for them and minimized any drama that could have occurred. Additionally my in-laws had their car in and out valet numerous times over the weekend and the staff always had the car ready & out in front when they needed to get somewhere. That said, some guests didn’t love the extra cost of having to use valet, but there IS a parking garage around the block you can self-park at.
