The Mill at Rock Creek is full of contemporary amenities but with a rustic design. The building is under 5 miles from the center of Boone, giving guests access to all the wonders the city has to offer. This also means that your loved ones have less distance to travel after your event when going back to their accommodations.
The Mill at Rock Creek is large enough to host gatherings of up to 250 inside or 280 individuals outside. Ample parking is available to make arriving at the venue more straightforward for guests. The venue itself is outfitted to make organizing your event easier. A sound system and projector let you share home videos and slideshows, helping you reminisce over emotive memories and tell your love story. There is also a full bar and a catering kitchen for fresh food prep and simpler drink service for guests. ng the room as we had our ceremony inside due to the weather. Even with having our cocktail hour inside and on the covered patio, there was still plenty of room for our guests to move around whilst the staff moved the furniture! From the time we booked our date all the way to having our event, communication was clear and it was easy to get ahold of the manager, Alexis, with questions. The Mill was easy to work with and such an amazing place to have our wedding!

our outdoor plans to indoor when we had an unexpected snow day! The building and landscape is so beautiful, I actually booked prior to viewing the property. Once we came for the tour I was IN LOVE. The mountain scape view is breathtaking. I was so nervous to switch my ceremony inside because I had dreams of the mountain background, but I am over the moon thrilled with how beautiful it was inside. They seamlessly switched from ceremony to reception without any awkward pauses or movement of guests. The fireplace - USE IT!!!! Literally one of the most beautiful pieces in the room. This venue was so responsive and easy to work. & from the first tour to the time we arrived for the rehearsal, I felt like I was being greeted by friends & family. I also loved their wooden tables & the fact that I didn’t need table cloths because the tables were so beautiful. HUGE thank you to Alexis for helping my vision come true!! I came in with 5 large rugs for my ceremony aisle and a large arch piece that my husband made & the staff, along with my amazing day of coordinator (Katie @ keystone event coordinating) made sure it was set up perfectly! The ambiance of the Mill gives you the perfect setting for a classy mountain wedding.
The bride and groom suites were spacious making the getting ready process wonderful. Being able to spend time with our friends and family at the venue the morning of took the stress out of traveling the day of our wedding to different locations.
Everyone who works at the Mill especially Amy the venue manager went above and beyond to communicate and make sure all of our questions were answered leading up to the wedding. (Amy literally ROCKS!)
I will be recommending the Mill at Rock Creek to anyone looking for a spectacular breath taking venue.

They are truly some of the kindest people I got to work with throughout this entire process. Not only is the venue beautiful but the grounds are impeccable. You have so many beautiful places for photos (inside and outside) and it’s large enough where you don’t feel on top of each other. The bridal suite and the grooms suite are so wonderful to have the entire day while getting ready - not only are they perfectly decorated but they allow you to have a quiet place to have a moment during a very busy day. I would recommend The Mill at Rock Creek to anyone looking to get married in the high country area. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

every way! They are great at communicating and took care of everything for us. I had a last minute change in our layout due to several guests canceling and they worked so diligently to make the changes and made sure I had nothing to stress about. I had to leave in a rush the morning of our wedding to get covid tested to travel for our honeymoon and I did not have an ounce of worry leaving the set up team (I actually didn’t even see the final set up until wedding time, but it was absolutely perfect)! They truly played such a huge part in our special day. Honestly, the best wedding experience a bride could dream of (not to mention the beautiful property itself)!! suite below was a lifesaver and the outside areas plus large indoor fireplace captured our rustic, elegant, mountain wedding perfectly. We had 150 people attend and everyone fit comfortably in the space. We even met our planner, Kristine Martin, from touring the venue and it was the perfect combination. The tables and chairs were included which was a huge plus in saving rental costs too. I definitely recommend the Mill At Rock Creek for any venue needs!

The outdoor ceremony site was beautifully landscaped and the water fall really made the atmosphere even more peaceful. If you are looking for a mountain feel that is located close to town, this is the perfect venue!
