The Morehead Inn is a historic wedding venue nestled in the picturesque Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte, NC. The estate was built in 1917 by London architect William Peeps for C.C. Coddington, who brought the first Buick south of the Mason-Dixon line. Now a renovated boutique hotel as well as an event space, the manor combines retro charm with modern comfort. It welcomes couples through its splendid doors to celebrate their romantic day surrounded by Southern hospitality. For your ceremony and reception, you will have access to The Morehead Inn’s distinct event spaces. Exchange your vows out in the secluded courtyard or gardens, or take advantage of the tastefully-furnished indoor locations and sweeping staircase. These include the Tea Room, Library, Main Floor, and the Front parlor. Each of these rooms features breathtaking chandeliers, antique furniture, intimate fireplaces, and elegant vintage accents. The property also comes with twelve well-appointed overnight accommodations where you and your guests can relax and rejuvenate over the wedding weekend. These suites boast four-poster beds, eco-friendly amenities, WiFi, cable tv, and plush robes and linens. Weddings at The Morehead Inn are coordinated by Dorrys McArdle, Director of Sales and Events.
