The Music Man DJ Service was amazing during our wedding planning process! They are communicative, detailed and transparent! They made planning our wedding easy and their online portal and forms are thorough so we didn’t miss a thing! DJ Jens and his wife/assistant were great! They were easy to talk to and did a great job on our wedding day. Jen’s made some awesome mixes per our request but come the day of, when we and our guests wanted to change it up a bit, Jen’s was able to pivot on the spot and play music that everyone loved! (Which I think is a great skill to have as a DJ) We had a great time! We have recommended them to all of our friends ever since!! We will definitely use them again if we have an event in the future!

e through the planning process — easygoing, kind, reassuring, and a great listener. He offered suggestions without ever pushing, and he responded quickly whenever we reached out. We appreciated the “get to know you” conversation he set up and found the detailed run-through call super helpful.
For the wedding, he arrived right on time, set up seamlessly, and emceed our day beautifully. It almost felt like we knew him personally because of how warm he was.
Most importantly — Jason totally understood our music vibe and got our entire crowd dancing. Mind you, the sun was still out for most of our reception, and he got everyone into the party mood right away.
We received so many compliments on our DJ and music, and we were SO glad we chose Jason! He truly took our wedding from good to great. If you’re on the fence…just book him!

He was responsive throughout the planning process and put in a lot of effort for everything. The Music Man has a great online platform that makes it easy to plan, with lists for must play, play if possible, and do not play. Their website was super helpful in planning the flow of the day, with what songs to play when, and the names of people that need to be announced (and when/how). Everything went really smoothly on the day of, and we have gotten so many compliments about how much fun the dancing was. We would absolutely recommend the Music Man and Jens!

From DJ services, to lighting, to a photo booth, they handle everything with professionalism that has garnered their fantastic reputation. We had Shawn for our wedding, and he was fantastic! From handling our custom request for our entrance song for the ceremony, to making sure the energy never left the dance floor during the reception, Shawn was an absolute pleasure, and we were grateful to have him as our DJ. We highly recommend The Music Man DJ Service, and while Im sure all the DJs are fantastic, we cant recommend Shawn enough!

As an LGBTQ+ couple, we were intentional about finding vendors who would create a welcoming and inclusive environment. From our first conversation, DJ Shawn made us feel completely comfortable. He was kind, respectful, and genuinely supportive, and we always felt that The Music Man DJ Service was a safe and welcoming space.

Our ceremony was a traditional Methodist one, and even though it was his first time handling that format, he followed the flow seamlessly with the MP3s we provided - everything was timed flawlessly. Then once the reception started, he completely transformed the atmosphere. His transitions were smooth, his mixing was spot-on, and he read the crowd so well that the dance floor was packed all night long!
He nailed the perfect blend of genres for all ages and kept the energy high from the first dance to the very last song. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun they had and how incredible the music was.
If you want someone who's professional, reliable, and truly knows how to keep the party going - DJ Jeff is your guy. We couldn't be happier and can't thank him enough for helping make our wedding day unforgettable!

even practiced difficult name pronunciations until they were perfect, all while staying professional and friendly.
On our wedding day, he handled a tricky venue setup across multiple rooms with ease and made sure everything sounded great. But the highlight was the dance floor. We asked Matt to recreate the feel of a high school Homecoming dance (2006–2012 vibes), and he absolutely nailed it. Guests kept commenting on how fun and nostalgic the music was, the energy was amazing, and the dance floor stayed packed! We wish we could have kept the party going longer. We can’t recommend Matt and The Music Man DJ Service enough!

We needed to have three different music set ups from our ceremony, to cocktail hour and finally the reception - they were able to accommodate this with no issues at all! Steve was our DJ and he even helped me create a special mix of music for walking down the aisle - which was such a special moment! Their portal that they provide is very organized and helps make sure you don't miss a step. Wonderful services and created such a fun loving atmosphere for the entire day!

ricing, and the planning tools were very clear and up front. The planning portal was SO helpful for those feeling overwhelmed by all the wedding decisions.
We worked with DJ Shawn C and we cannot say enough good things about him. Our venue had a power outage day of and we had to completely pivot and change the day. He had a positive, calm attitude and rolled with the punches. We had to move to a new location after the ceremony and he did it seamlessly and quickly. We also had to completely change timing and order of our reception, and again he was able to touch base with us quickly and made it happen flawlessly. Our dance floor was packed and everyone had a blast. DJ Shawn truly helped the day come together, and we are thrilled he was our DJ. Can't recommend him enough!

As for DJ Matt, he was amazing! We have gotten so many compliments on our ceremony and DJ selection. Matt was so patient in listening to our music preferences, ceremony preferences and overall playlist suggestions. We were able to collaborate through apps and add songs into our preferred playlists and Matt was able to take some suggestions, sprinkle in his own songs and put together a flawless wedding playlist! I would highly recommend Matt and The Music Man DJ Services in general for any of your future needs, they were great!
