The Perfect Pair Wedding

Our wedding was April 2023 and we booked Clémence for our month of coordinator. She was easy to get a hold of and very good with communication throughout the whole process. She helped before the “month of” when things came up like day of timeline questions and what we should put on invitations as the start time. Clémence was very organized and sent over a google spreadsheet for us to check stuff off as we completed things. She had things on the list that I would have never thought of, which was helpful. We had many hiccups in the planning process with our venue. Our event space coordinator at our venue was not invested in us. There were many errors throughout the process on her end and a change in staff 2 weeks before the wedding. Clémence knew we were very frustrated, but she remained calm and took care of everything. She worked with the new staff to get them up to speed and kept communication with us so we knew she was working behind the scenes. The rehearsal was very thorough. We went through everything to make sure everyone was on the same page and last minute details were finalized. The wedding day went smoothly. Clémence was on site early making sure everything was going according to plan. She came to my getting ready room to check in and see how I was feeling, which was nice and comforting. There were some questions that came up where she was able to ask the groom what we preferred and she texted me a picture of a different setup than what we had discussed because it was windy, to make sure I was ok with changing things. We only hired a photographer and Clémence took videos of our first look, which I’m so thankful for! Throughout the night she kept checking on us and getting us food and drinks if we needed them. Clémence brings an assistant on the wedding day. For our wedding, this was her husband. He was amazing. They worked great together and we could truly tell they loved what they were doing. Clémence has a passion for making couples happy on their wedding day. We loved working with her and so glad we chose her to be our wedding coordinator.

Clemence, Emily, and Grant were fantastic to work with! Clemence kept me on track with all the craziness leading up to my wedding, she was so thorough and thoughtful. On the day of, they took care of everything, I didn't have to stress or worry about a thing! Our wedding turned out so beautiful, I don't know what we would have done without them!

The best decision I made for my wedding was hiring Clemence as my wedding coordinator. She is so knowledgeable, organized and most of all, helpful! Her planning documents were easy to follow and a huge help for me to stay on track through the planning process. When we finally got to our wedding day I didn’t have to think about the details at all because I knew Clemence was on top of all of them! The entire day went through without a hitch and we received so many compliments from guest on how seamless the entire production was. Most of all, Clemence made sure me and my now husband had everything we needed! She checked in on us regularly and always made sure we had a drink in our hand :) I could go on and on about how amazing she is! My husband and I got married this past May and our experience with Clemence was fantastic from start to finish. She helped plan our wedding in almost every detail (colors, wedding venues, vendors, furniture, etc) to day of coordination and beyond (making announcements, advising vendors, helping serve food, vendor tipping recommendations, etc). Clemence's extensive experience as a planner is clear once you meet her, and her input on colors/layout/flowers was very helpful in the early stages of planning. We wanted to get married in Santa Barbara and thanks to Clemence’s numerous connections in the wedding industry, she was able to find the best vendors within the budget we set for ourselves. Her attention to detail is impressive (she will even consider bringing a paper weight to hold down napkins if it could be a windy day with an outdoor venue), but she manages to plan everything without overwhelming her clients or giving them decision fatigue. On the day of the wedding, Clemence and her team executed everything extremely well. Our venue was a park without any packaged vendors, and Clemence was able to coordinate between all the different vendors and teams without issue. By the time we got there, everything was setup beautifully and all we had to do was worry about pictures and getting married! She never came to my husband or I throughout the wedding day unless it was an absolute emergency (turns out there was!). Clemence was able to handle a family member who had fainted during cocktail hour and got a paramedic to take care of her. The family member was fine and the wedding proceeded without issue, but it was a standout example of how well Clemence was able to handle a stressful situation without affecting the rest of the day. Clemence’s passion for weddings comes through in her detailed planning and coordinating - she takes great pride in making sure everything in her control allows the couple to have the best day of their lives. I’ve already recommended The Perfect Pair Weddings to several other couples and family members planning to get married, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I got married at the Scripps Forum, and everything was absolutely perfect and beyond everything we ever dreamt of!!!  To be honest, we were hesitant to hire a wedding planner at first (thinking I could do it myself… yeah right…). We had no idea how much work goes into planning a wedding, and we weren't sure if it was worth the investment. But after meeting with Clemence, we knew that we had made the right decision. She was an absolute joy to work with and really cared about our vision. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding, she was there for us every step of the way. She listened to our ideas, offered suggestions based on her professional experience, and made sure that every detail was taken care of (she literally thinks of EVERYTHING.) One thing that was weighing heavily on our minds in the lead-up to the wedding was the potential for rain. We had planned an outdoor ceremony and cocktail, and the thought of bad weather ruining everything was causing me a great deal of stress. But thankfully, we had hired Clemence!!!! She was there to reassure me and had the perfect Plan B in case of rain so we could still have and enjoy the beautiful view of La Jolla for our ceremony. She had clearly thought through every possible scenario and had contingency plans in place for every situation.  On the day of the wedding, the weather was luckily beautiful and sunny, and everything went off without a hitch. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, the reception was a blast, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! Clemence and her team (Lucie & Grant) made sure that everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. To anyone who is considering hiring a wedding planner, I cannot recommend The Perfect Pair Wedding enough. You will thank yourself for making that decision I promise!! Clemence, Lucie, and Grant are the absolute best, and we feel so grateful to have had them on our team for our day! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We hired Clemence for our Mar 2023 wedding at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. She is incredibly organized, driven and proactive, and all around wonderful to work with. Her depth of experience was so apparent in all of our vendor meetings - the questions she asked, the things that she thought of that no one else did. She also did so many things behind the scenes to make the day a success that I didn't even realize until later! She completely mastered the day's events. On the day of, when some of our speeches went quite long... she so clearly understood our priorities and made a judgement call about the timeline that was so clutch! Further, she is just the nicest to work with. Most importantly to me, she has such a calming aura. It was such a pleasure to work with her and get to know her working up to the wedding! Our wedding went absolutely perfectly thanks to Clemence and her team! I cannot recommend Perfect Pair enough!
