Her experience with wedding coordination helped us iron everything out all of the details, like making suggestions to our day-of timeline to fit everything in and making sure all of the items needed for the wedding are accounted for.
A couple days before our wedding, we had a cake emergency as our wedding cake vendor fell through unexpectedly. We contacted Clemence and within the hour we had a quote and cake order set up!
On the day-of, Clemence and her assistant did a great job handling the vendors and logistics of everything. They were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All my partner and I had to do was follow Clemence’s or the photographer’s directions, make it through our vows without crying too much, sign the marriage certificate within the lines, and enjoy the moment. , we were in urgent need of someone who could bring our dream wedding to life. Clemence stepped in with infectious enthusiasm, and from the outset, it was clear she genuinely cared about realizing the vision we held for our special day.
An early experience that solidified our confidence in Clemence, and one we will always cherish, was our engagement photoshoot. Just a week after our initial meeting, Clemence learned of our upcoming anniversary trip to the Loire Valley, where we planned to stay at a Chateau and have our engagement photos taken. The photographer we had initially found was unresponsive, creating a stressful situation. Clemence immediately took charge, connecting us with an amazing Parisian photographer she had collaborated with previously, Lea Everin. Within a couple of days, she had arranged a two-hour photoshoot for us at the Chateau. This swift action and dedication left us speechless and demonstrated a level of commitment that truly made the entire experience unforgettable.
Clemence excelled in understanding and aligning with our expectations, particularly regarding organization. She effectively utilized a shared spreadsheet to keep us synchronized on tasks and, crucially, the budget. Her proficiency with Canva was also a great asset, allowing her to create clear visual representations for elements like table settings and decor, which was immensely helpful.
During our meetings, Clemence had a remarkable ability to make us feel as though our wedding was her sole focus. She also introduced us to an outstanding team of vendors, including the talented photographer Renata Amazonas and Katlyn Jernigan from Toast Catering, all of whom contributed significantly to our day.
What truly set Clemence apart was her receptiveness to feedback and her proactive approach. We had several productive meetings at the venue, which fostered a sense of calm and shared understanding, ensuring our wedding would be everything we envisioned. She also skillfully managed the planning process itself, making it feel like a unique and enjoyable experience in its own right. We'll never forget how she coordinated with cake vendors; after we expressed our desire for a fun and memorable tasting, she arranged a delightful experience at the venue with Connor’s Cakes, complete with delicious samples and champagne.
Given the exceptional service leading up to the wedding, it's hard to imagine Clemence could have surpassed our expectations on the actual day – yet she did. Our wedding day proceeded flawlessly. Despite concerns about potential rain leading into the weekend, Clemence had worked diligently with us to prepare for all scenarios. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, and we had the most perfect wedding we could have ever asked for. Throughout the entire day, we were completely free of worry, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in and savor every precious moment.

very clear communicator, hyper organized, and very responsive. I really liked that she didn't put arbitrary boundaries on how much I could contact her. I didn't need more than two meetings, but it significantly decreased my stress knowing I could contact her if needed. I am a type A personality, and detail oriented myself, so it was particularly incredible to me how much I was able to enjoy my day because I had full faith Clemence would execute the vision. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I received multiple compliments from the bridal party, family, and guests about how helpful she was and how she kept the day moving. She checked in with my parents regularly and she kept the groomsmen focused and on schedule. She is worth every penny. Knowing that I didn't need to organize vendors, before or during the event was such a gift. I told her I wanted to feel like a guest at my own wedding and that is the exact experience I got. Her assistant (who maybe was her husband?) was also an excellent addition. The groom wanted round table pizza as a late night snack and he drove 1.5 hours round trip to make it happen. It was incredibly memorable to the groom. He also had a big smile on his face, and really helped with our grand exit by using a bubble machine like a total expert. All around they made our wedding an incredible experience. I will absolutely use her again if I have a large event to plan, and if I could go back in time I would have hired her at the start. Any time I had the smallest question, I would reach out and she would have the perfect answer. Especially as things were getting closer to the day, she handled every small detail and kept everything going smoothly, giving me the reminders I needed to stay calm day of. There was one moment right before my husband and I were supposed to go out for our first dance, and Clemence noticed I was tripping over the under tulle in my dress a bit. Turned out it had RIPPED! Clemence and Kat immediately safety pinned it in place and it was perfect the rest of the night. Just a small example of how on it this duo is and how willing to help they are at the drop of a hat.

Beyond just being a kind, fun person to chat with and an incredibly strategic mind to plan with, her recommendations for vendors are the best in the business. Everyone we worked with so awesome, professional and went far beyond our expectations. Clemence was also great at looking at our budget and providing recommendations on where to splurge and where to save based on our priorities. It helped us achieve a perfect balance for a perfect day. On the day of, everything was so well planned and executed, I really was spoiled in just enjoying the day. We had some slightly unplanned rain, but we had back-up plans that made the night even better than we thought. Many people asked my family if I was stressing before the wedding and everyone said I was as cool as a cucumber. Clemence was so knowledgeable and her recommendations for vendors were always so great and fit so well with our vision. We were able to regularly meet with Clemence over Zoom or by phone. Whenever we weren't sure about how to go about doing something, Clemence always walked us through everything and kept us on track on our end. And of course, she handled so many other things behind the scenes, like vendor contracts, insurance, etc. When our wedding came along, Clemence worked greatly with all the vendors and venue staff to keep the day running smoothly. And when things didn't go as planned, as can be expected, Clemence handled everything so we could relax and stay focused on our day. We had a mix up with the photographer but Clemence handled the issue like a pro and got everyone on the same page. Before the ceremony, there was also an issue with the venue's sound system and Clemence handled it discreetly (we didn't even know about the problem until after it was resolved) and the ceremony and rest of the day was absolutely perfect. Clemence also made sure we were well fed, bringing us appetizers and desserts, while we were making our rounds with the guests and we felt so well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Clemence and Perfect Pair Weddings to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner. osing any wedding planner, since ideas need to be communicated in both directions. Being on the same page about the vision of your wedding is key. It did not take long at all for us to know that she was the absolute best choice for us.
Clémence is incredibly friendly and holds herself to such a high standard, and that shows in the work she does. She has an entire process for planning that includes timelines of when things are to be done, vendors are to be booked, and more. Everything is laid out clearly, and she checks in regularly to make sure things are on track. These timelines start from several months before the wedding and go all the way down to the day itself.
She makes it known that she wants your day to be exactly how you want it and works hard to achieve that. Whenever we had a new idea or a modification to an existing one, she was always open to hearing it and working to make it happen. We went with an Italian garden-style theme for our wedding, and Clémence executed that vision perfectly. We somehow seemed to be on the same wavelength about everything. Not only did she follow through on executing our ideas, but she also incorporated her own input that fit into the wedding and expanded on it perfectly.
As first-time bride and groom, we struggled with knowing how to budget properly. Clémence helped us spend in places where it made the most sense for us and save on things we didn't need. Bit of a random anecdote, but we wanted to have pizza at the end of our afterparty. Our initial search was going to have us spending hundreds of dollars to have standard pizzas delivered to our venue. Clémence saved the day when she found an even closer shop that made heart-shaped pizzas for a fraction of the cost.
As Clémence has been doing this for a while now, she's gained rapport with several vendors and was able to speak to the quality of their work and service. This took so much pressure off of us, since we didn't merely have to trust the sales pitch of whatever vendors we happened to find on our own. Once we had our vendors locked in, Clémence took care of managing timelines for each, such as when to meet with them, choosing items for the wedding, and payment schedules.
Not only does she work her hardest when she's by your side, she also has your back when you don't even notice. Nearly a month after the wedding, we found out that our venue's staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful to our vendors. This forced everyone to work at 110% to compensate for the lack of assistance. However, the way Clémence handled this was with such grace and professionalism that we didn't notice, nor did any of our guests, that things weren't running smoothly. Her integrity is truly inspiring.
As cheesy as it may sound, we've gained a genuine lifelong friend in Clémence. The influence and quality of her work extend far beyond wedding planning. If it wasn't clear already, we cannot recommend Clémence enough. Her work speaks for itself and was by far the best investment we made for our wedding.

ir Wedding!! We hired Clemence to be our day-of coordinator and we honestly couldn’t have gotten through the day without her and her wonderful assistant Emily! We spoke on the phone about working together and were immediately excited to work with her. Clemence is so sweet and fun to chat with, but also very straightforward which we knew we needed as we can both be a bit wishy washy when making decisions. In hiring a day-of coordinator, we thought we were getting just that, but really her work began much sooner. Upon hiring her, she sent us documents to help keep track of everything in the months leading up to the wedding so that when we were a month out, she could jump in full swing. Clemence is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to planning and she answered every question we had along the way with confidence and kindness knowing we were learning as we went. Clémence was very organized and sent over a google spreadsheet for us to check stuff off as we completed things. She had things on the list that I would have never thought of, which was helpful.
We had many hiccups in the planning process with our venue. Our event space coordinator at our venue was not invested in us. There were many errors throughout the process on her end and a change in staff 2 weeks before the wedding. Clémence knew we were very frustrated, but she remained calm and took care of everything. She worked with the new staff to get them up to speed and kept communication with us so we knew she was working behind the scenes.
The rehearsal was very thorough. We went through everything to make sure everyone was on the same page and last minute details were finalized.
The wedding day went smoothly. Clémence was on site early making sure everything was going according to plan. She came to my getting ready room to check in and see how I was feeling, which was nice and comforting. There were some questions that came up where she was able to ask the groom what we preferred and she texted me a picture of a different setup than what we had discussed because it was windy, to make sure I was ok with changing things.
We only hired a photographer and Clémence took videos of our first look, which I’m so thankful for!
Throughout the night she kept checking on us and getting us food and drinks if we needed them.

venues, vendors, furniture, etc) to day of coordination and beyond (making announcements, advising vendors, helping serve food, vendor tipping recommendations, etc). Clemence's extensive experience as a planner is clear once you meet her, and her input on colors/layout/flowers was very helpful in the early stages of planning. We wanted to get married in Santa Barbara and thanks to Clemence’s numerous connections in the wedding industry, she was able to find the best vendors within the budget we set for ourselves. Her attention to detail is impressive (she will even consider bringing a paper weight to hold down napkins if it could be a windy day with an outdoor venue), but she manages to plan everything without overwhelming her clients or giving them decision fatigue.
On the day of the wedding, Clemence and her team executed everything extremely well. Our venue was a park without any packaged vendors, and Clemence was able to coordinate between all the different vendors and teams without issue. By the time we got there, everything was setup beautifully and all we had to do was worry about pictures and getting married! She never came to my husband or I throughout the wedding day unless it was an absolute emergency (turns out there was!). Clemence was able to handle a family member who had fainted during cocktail hour and got a paramedic to take care of her. The family member was fine and the wedding proceeded without issue, but it was a standout example of how well Clemence was able to handle a stressful situation without affecting the rest of the day.
Clemence’s passion for weddings comes through in her detailed planning and coordinating - she takes great pride in making sure everything in her control allows the couple to have the best day of their lives. But after meeting with Clemence, we knew that we had made the right decision. She was an absolute joy to work with and really cared about our vision. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding, she was there for us every step of the way. She listened to our ideas, offered suggestions based on her professional experience, and made sure that every detail was taken care of (she literally thinks of EVERYTHING.)
One thing that was weighing heavily on our minds in the lead-up to the wedding was the potential for rain. We had planned an outdoor ceremony and cocktail, and the thought of bad weather ruining everything was causing me a great deal of stress. But thankfully, we had hired Clemence!!!! She was there to reassure me and had the perfect Plan B in case of rain so we could still have and enjoy the beautiful view of La Jolla for our ceremony. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, the reception was a blast, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had!
