I'm not sure what to say about this band except to hire them. They were the highlight of our night. We had some very last-minute changes that they rolled (like the river) with, not even blinking.
Their setlist was phenomenal. We really wanted people to get out on the floor and dance. Dance they did. In speaking with guests afterwards, everybody brings up the band. Do yourself a favor and hire them. Live music makes a huge difference and this band is so so so good.

Wonderful. Multiple people asked me, “where did you find this band??” They knocked it out of the park. Working with Kyle was fantastic. Felt like he actually cared, which he did. They were able to work with my wife and I to accommodate and slightly customize our first dance song and last dance.
One of their female singers sang “I will always love you” and nailed it. So many other songs done well. Truly impressive.
You will not be disappointed.

We were lucky to secure their last available Saturday in 2024, and it’s no surprise they’re so in-demand—they’re simply phenomenal!
Kyle went above and beyond to make our ceremony perfect, ensuring the microphone and stand setup were just right and even helping our officiant feel at ease, which we deeply appreciated. His MC skills were top-notch, keeping the night flowing seamlessly with flexibility and expertise. Kyle truly knows how to set the tone for an unforgettable celebration!

I had the absolute honor to work with Riverside Hitmen a few weeks ago at a wedding and they were PHENOMENAL!! By far one of my favorite bands now!! Kyle was so great with communication leading up to the wedding, and the day of was no exception. He was always checking in and overall was amazing to work with. Hiring the Riverside Hitmen was easily one of our best wedding decisions. We could not recommend them more highly. Their energy, talent, and professionalism really made our celebration come together. We had a number of guests tell us that our reception was the best they had ever attended, and then immediately mentioned the band as the highlight of the evening. -------- Many of our guests raved about the quality of the musicianship and vocals…including some family members from New Orleans, who have very high expectations for live music! The videos posted on the Riverside Hitmen’s website do NOT do justice to the experience. At several points in the night (such as during the guitar solo in Purple Rain), the handful of musicians in attendance dropped whatever they were doing to approach the stage and just watch the performance. And the setlist kept the dance floor lively (from kids to great-grandparents and everyone in between) by both incorporating our specific requests and anticipating the songs that would keep the party going. Even our guests who are not musically inclined have commented on how special it was to get so many people across so many generations dancing together. --------
As an example of the Riverside Hitmen’s willingness to go above and beyond – we made the somewhat unusual request of asking them to learn an instrumental rock piece (Edgar Winter’s Frankenstein) as our “special song.” We would’ve been perfectly happy with a minimal, basic rendition, but the band completely threw themselves into the performance, to the extent that I heard multiple people discussing the drum solo(!!) afterwards. It was a real testament to the pride they take in their work (and the fun they appear to have while doing it). We’re so grateful for how they showed up for our special day. -------- What’s more, Kyle was a delight to work with throughout the planning process. He was friendly, responsive, gave great advice when asked, and always made us feel like we were in good hands. The preparation was smooth, communication was great, and the pricing was transparent and felt extremely reasonable (especially for the awesome experience we received). -------- Protip: add the horn section. Getting the horns was probably the best money we spent on our whole wedding. The rest of the band is great, but the horns really leveled up the whole experience.

This band is seriously THE BEST and we can't recommend them enough. They're incredibly talented musicians and also very professional, kind, and easy to work with. Kyle is super organized and responsive; He had great advice on ways to keep everything running smoothly and was so helpful from start to finish. They made excellent song choices and everyone had an absolute blast dancing! Even the handful of people who have refused to dance for all the years/decades that we have known them, were on the dance floor and loving it! We had SO much fun and booking them was easily the best reception planning decision that we made. We had our guests over for coffee the next morning and everyone raved about how amazing they were. As they played at our wedding reception, we lost count the number of times people were in complete awe of the band’s talent and asked us “Where in the world did you find this band?!"
Riverside Hitmen created the perfect atmosphere to keep everyone dancing on the floor all night, mixing in classics, beloved pop songs and everything in between - and doing so with incredible talent and energy.
It was nothing short of magical - it was a joy to have our friends and family call it “one of the best receptions they’ve ever been part of.”
As for logistics, working with Riverside Hitmen was a breeze from start to finish. And given their price tag, they might be not only the best value wedding band around but the best value of all wedding expenses.

Riverside Hitmen is AMAZING!!!! One of the BEST decisions we made for our entire wedding. The dance floor was packed all night long with people of all ages. My grandparents were dancing with me and my cousins all night, which were such sweet moments that we will always remember. We received endless compliments from our guests on how amazing they were and that they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding.
Kyle & the entire band were absolutely amazing all night long and we would recommend them to anyone and everyone!! Also totally worth adding the horn section, so so so fun!! We love you Riverside Hitmen!!!!

The band was PHENOMENAL. They are so talented and can play a variety of music. They read the room so well and kept people on the dance floor all night long.

Truly no words can adequately say how incredible this band was for our wedding night at The Whim. They had people on the dance floor all night long. We hired the 10 piece band and it was the BEST money we ever spent on our wedding day. Kyle, who leads the band, is the most organized, detail oriented, FUN, kind and professional we worked with throughout our wedding process. He also MC'd the event after cocktail hour. We hired the Riverside Allstars and absolutely LOVED them. This was definitely the biggest splurge for our wedding but I really was adamant about having a live band but I wanted to make sure they were good. I was definitely nervous about spending this much and not really knowing what I was getting outside of reviews and their online videos. But I can say it was 100% worth it! A lot of our guests had not seen a live band at a wedding and said they were incredible. We had so much fun, the only downside was the night went too quickly!
I am located in Eastern Iowa and some of the reasons we went with the all stars were responsiveness, Kyle was fantastic with the communication and planning prior. Then a major factor was their website. When I was looking around so many bands had demo soundtracks but no actual videos of their performances. When you are looking for a band with energy that will keep the crowd going its impossible to do from a soundtrack.
Again, 100% would recommend them. They sounded incredible, had fantastic energy, and you get such a wide range of music that they can play since they have so many band members that are able to lead sing. I cannot say enough good things. If you are on the fence and have the budget, I say go for it!

We had the best experience with The Riverside Hitmen. They were so easy to work with. Very well organized. Walked us step through step in planning the music for our ceremony, DJ for cocktail hour, and of course the live band for the reception. Our dance floor was FULL the whole night and many of our guests told us that was the most fun reception they had ever attended (largely thanks to the amazing band!!!). Would book Riverside Hitmen again and again if I have the opportunity.

We had The Riverside Unplugged acoustic trio at our wedding on 7/12/24. They are incredible and it is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
We got married at the Lynhall and had a more "intimate" wedding of 70 guests.
We had a three piece acoustic trio for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance. They were AMAZING. Our guests were raving about their talent. So much talent we cannot say enough about them.
Kyle then switched over and DJ'ed for the rest of the night. Kyle is outstanding and did an incredible job. For a smaller wedding, we were shocked at how the dance floor was bumping all night long. We had so much fun. Kyle and his band were super easy to work with from start to end.

The Riverside Hitmen were absolutely amazing at our wedding! Kyle was so helpful the entire process and was very detailed, and clearly had so much experience in what he is doing that I felt so comfortable letting him and the band handle our big day. He did our ceremony music, emceed our grand March and helped with speeches. Then the band took over and wow…. They were so so incredible!! They learned our first dance song for us which was amazing, and then rocked the party all night. We got so many compliments from our guests about how it was the most dancing they’d ever seen at a wedding and how much fun it was. Getting on the dance floor was one of the more important parts of the night for our husband and I, and the this band did not let us down as everyone danced all night! And the lead singer Monique was just insanely talented. We are so so happy we chose this band for our special night!!!

Incredibly helpful in the planning stages. We received a good deal of advice that was really helpful. They were also flexible with last minute changes. But truly, this band will have your guests on their feet for the entire duration of their set. They make a phenomenal, fun atmosphere, and we received a lot of compliments from friends and family for picking such a great band. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Stop looking and hire this band for your wedding! They did an amazing job keeping the party going, had great range, and played an awesome selection of songs from different eras and genres. Plus they were incredibly easy to work with, super helpful with planning out the day, and did a great job keeping things on schedule. Our venue also had some special requirements and they were great about accommodations which made everything less stressful. Kyle was the most organized wedding vendor I worked with and Anthony executed our day perfectly. I literally cannot put into words how happy we are with this band, but I will try. We were BLOWN AWAY by how incredible they were. They had such a fun energy, played a range of songs/genres (which was important to us), and our guests have not stopped talking about how great they were! Kyle was also SO easy to work with during the planning process. We had a few phone calls beforehand, talking about music ideas for the setlist and ceremony, and he helped with any questions we had. The pianist for our ceremony was also willing to learn songs for us which made it even more special! Overall, we had a phenomenal experience and are looking for an excuse to hire this band for another party!

HIRE THIS BAND!!! The voices and musicians are high quality (better in real life than online videos), the playlist was awesome (they read the room and modified as they went), the dance floor was FULL all night, and multiple people approached us afterwards wanting the band's contact info. Adding the horns was a great decision because they were oh so good and fun! Kyle knew how to get the best sound from the Hutton House and had great recommendations on how to get the party started (opening photo on the dance floor and then there's no excuse not to dance!) and going strong. Kyle was great at quick and clear communications, and was a kind man to work with. We loved having The Riverside Hitmen at our daughter's wedding. Cost includes 3 horns and ceremony package - a great decision to have Kyle do everything.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our dance floor was packed and poppin the entire night thanks to the Riverside Hitmen. Dozens of guests have told us that they are the best live band they've heard in years. Monique brought us all to TEARS with "I Will Always Love You". Kyle was super attentive and did a great job emcee-ing and making sure we had everything we needed. In the exact words of all our wedding guests, this band was AMAZING! Every song they played for our reception filled the dance floor the entire night. When we weren’t on the dance floor, we would get stopped in our tracks every three feet or so to be told this, too. The band chose songs that were fit for our crowd and they were also flexible on our timeline to accommodate our requests. Kyle was involved in all of our planning, happily answered our questions, and coordinated the day of perfectly. His talent to lead and the talent of each and every band member musically will forever be stamped in our hearts. We are still having friends and family rave about how much fun they had that night. We planned our wedding date around Riverside HItment and it was the best decision we ever made. Absolute HIT. I can't thank Kyle and his band enough for making our big day that much more special! We picked our wedding date on Riverside Hitmen's availability and wow I am SO glad we did!!
We've seen them at three other weddings and joke that they are now a family band ;) but I wouldn't want any other band to be a family band.
Our guests still can't stop talking about how great they were. One of my bridesmaids said "when you told me you had a band, I didn't think they'd be that great but they blew my expectations out of the water!"
Our dance floor was rocking all night long and the variety and entertainment they provided made our day perfect.
Kyle was awesome to work with and you could just tell that he truly cared about us and was excited for us. We added on the horns and that made the band even better!
Our wedding was so memorable and Riverside Hitmen made it even better.

If you want a DANCE PARTY, get the Riverside Hitmen for your wedding! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone of all ages loved the music. Kyle was so organized leading up to the wedding and made sure all of our music choices were correct. He also MCs the whole day which played a huge role in our day running smoothly.
Okay so these are truly amazing musicians. We asked them to learn “such a night” by Michael Buble, which is NOT an easy song and they killed it. I walked down the aisle to “I will always love you” so they played it during the dance too and definitely gave Whitney Houston a run for her money. The variety of genres they are able to play seems almost unlimited. Music was our top priority for our day and Riverside Hitmen we’re the best choice in making it perfect, memorable, and so FUN!

Amazing. That's literally the only word to describe these guys (and gals!). From the beginning, Kyle was as nice as could be (and patient since I had no idea what I was doing 😂🤣). Made me feel comfortable, had a ton of positive thoughts and really made me and my husband feel comfortable. They rolled with the punches and were just awesome about everything. The day of when I met the rest of the band, everyone was so nice and they absolutely nailed it performing. People are still commenting on them and several have asked for their information to attend any public events in the future. Riverside Entertainment is the best of the best, I would 1,000% recommend including them as a part of your event! We hired the Hitmen and the brass trio for our August 2023 wedding and they made it such an incredible day. Kyle is truly an expert in the event industry and offered his guidance throughout our wedding planning. The band played for nearly 4 (!) hours straight and nailed every single song. From jazz to rock to pop, they can do it all! They even take on the fly requests which was such a treat for our guests. Our dance floor was packed the whole night. Even for the non-dancers, the band was excellent entertainment to watch from the sidelines. Our nephew, a music guy, described the band as a 20 out of 10. We all loved the band and wish we could have danced all night! Kyle, Anthony, and the rest of the Hitmen crew were far and away the best vendors to work with. Communication and logistics were streamlined so my wife and I didn't have to worry about a thing.
Anthony (our soundman/all around great guy) ran sound for the ceremony and speeches during dinner. I required a guitar to serenade my wife during my speech. Anthony was instrumental in getting all of the tech together to let me do this.
The reception itself couldn't have gone better. We hired the full band with the horn section (highly recommend!!!). Many of our guests were professional musicians so standards were high for any wedding band we were to hire. Riverside Hitmen far exceeded any expectations we had. The band brought high energy, fun and superb musicality that really elevated the party throughout the night. Our guests were blown away at how good the band sounded. People have still been buzzing about the band, weeks after our wedding.
Do yourself a huge favor by hiring the best!

The Riverside Hitmen are amazing! We used musicians for the ceremony and the reception. The team MC'd our entire wedding working with us to keep things moving as we wanted them to - even dealing with last minute adjustments (weather) and requests. Throughout the evening, and in the days following, our guests couldn't stop talking about how fantastic the band was...especially the lead singer. We had a small wedding but they kept people going from start to finish. We couldn't have been more pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

Kyle and the Riverside Hitmen are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring them, I can't recommend them enough. They are super responsive in the planning stage and organized. During the event, they helped keep things moving on time and also MC'ed during the night. The musicians are so talented and we had a packed dance floor from start to finish. We added the horns section which I would recommend for some added fun!
We also added a silent disco to the end of our night and they were super accommodating and helpful, we didn't need to worry about a thing!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. From the very first interaction with Kyle to the last song of our wedding this group is a complete class act. They were able to provide us with a pianist for our ceremony even though it was not at the same location as our reception and an MC and background music for our cocktail hour in addition to the band for reception.
As for the band, I don’t even know where to begin. They brought the party all night and there was not a single moment that we had more people sitting at their tables than we did on the dance floor. Seriously the dance floor was packed the entire night.
I lost count of how many guests came up to my wife and I to let us know that this was the best band they have ever seen. Every band member was a true professional. The RSH made our wedding day the best day ever!! They were worth every last penny!

This band exceeded our expectations for our December 2022 wedding! The communication leading up to the big day was professional and timely. We had a piano and cello for our ceremony that did a phenomenal job. We chose the 10 piece band (horns included) for the wedding dance and we highly recommend it! The lead vocalists had a very impressive range and they had versatile music choices. Our guests are still complimenting the band days later.
This band is the route to go if you want your guests dancing all night long. We are so happy with our decision to book The Riverside Hitmen!

Seriously the most fun dance party ever! We found The Riverside Hitmen from a friend who had the All-Stars at their wedding, and they did not disappoint. Originally, we had only booked the saxophonist, but then decided on the full horn section. 100% worth it to get the full horns! They were energetic, fun, accommodating (played a polka for us!), organized, and SO incredibly talented! Kyle is a dream to work with, so easy and communicative, and made sure we had the best day ever. Booking The Riverside Hitmen was by far THE BEST choice we made for our wedding. Kyle was very easy and efficient to work with. The band is very talented- our wedding was the third time we heard them play, and they can do all kinds of music and fit what your vision is. We did spend extra for the horn section and felt that this was worth every penny. They were able to keep the dance floor filled all night, which is what we wanted. A lot of guests commented that this was their favorite part of our night! Kyle is also a great emcee and kept the reception running smoothly and on time. We knew we were in great hands, and didn't have to worry about anything. We had so much fun at our wedding and the Riverside Hitmen undoubtedly made this happen. Our wedding was also located outside of the twin cities and we were happy to find that they were able and willing to travel for us, for what we felt was a reasonable fee.

Book them today! The main priority for our wedding day was to spend as much time dancing with our friends as possible. Riverside Hitmen delivered in keeping our friends on the floor PLUS we kept getting compliments about their insane talent as musicians. It truly shows that they enjoy what they do!

My daughter's wedding, my investment. She asked if we could hire a band, my fear was.. will they be any good, will it be worth the added expense, effort, risk?...i can absolutely express, in every possible way... absolutely. Not only were they completely stress free (actually helped make the entire event run even smoother) and great to work with, they were exceptional on stage. Whitney Houston to Etta James..to AC/DC. Every song was spot on!! I have never been to a wedding where the dance floor had 3 to 1 more people on it , then weren't.
