And their range of songs is amazing, from Queen to Taylor Swift and it all sounds great! We had a number of guests tell us that our reception was the best they had ever attended, and then immediately mentioned the band as the highlight of the evening. -------- Many of our guests raved about the quality of the musicianship and vocals…including some family members from New Orleans, who have very high expectations for live music! The videos posted on the Riverside Hitmen’s website do NOT do justice to the experience. At several points in the night (such as during the guitar solo in Purple Rain), the handful of musicians in attendance dropped whatever they were doing to approach the stage and just watch the performance. And the setlist kept the dance floor lively (from kids to great-grandparents and everyone in between) by both incorporating our specific requests and anticipating the songs that would keep the party going. Even our guests who are not musically inclined have commented on how special it was to get so many people across so many generations dancing together. -------- As an example of the Riverside Hitmen’s willingness to go above and beyond – we made the somewhat unusual request of asking them to learn an instrumental rock piece (Edgar Winter’s Frankenstein) as our “special song.” We would’ve been perfectly happy with a minimal, basic rendition, but the band completely threw themselves into the performance, to the extent that I heard multiple people discussing the drum solo(!!) afterwards. It was a real testament to the pride they take in their work (and the fun they appear to have while doing it). We’re so grateful for how they showed up for our special day. -------- What’s more, Kyle was a delight to work with throughout the planning process. He was friendly, responsive, gave great advice when asked, and always made us feel like we were in good hands. The preparation was smooth, communication was great, and the pricing was transparent and felt extremely reasonable (especially for the awesome experience we received). -------- Protip: add the horn section. Getting the horns was probably the best money we spent on our whole wedding. The rest of the band is great, but the horns really leveled up the whole experience.

it was the BEST money we ever spent on our wedding day. Kyle, who leads the band, is the most organized, detail oriented, FUN, kind and professional we worked with throughout our wedding process. He also MC'd the event after cocktail hour. We had guests coming up to us all night telling us how amazing they were and how much fun of a night they had. I cant say enough about them and would not ever look at another band or DJ!!! HIRE THEM!

make sure they were good. I was definitely nervous about spending this much and not really knowing what I was getting outside of reviews and their online videos. But I can say it was 100% worth it! A lot of our guests had not seen a live band at a wedding and said they were incredible. We had so much fun, the only downside was the night went too quickly! I am located in Eastern Iowa and some of the reasons we went with the all stars were responsiveness, Kyle was fantastic with the communication and planning prior. Then a major factor was their website. When I was looking around so many bands had demo soundtracks but no actual videos of their performances. When you are looking for a band with energy that will keep the crowd going its impossible to do from a soundtrack. Again, 100% would recommend them. They sounded incredible, had fantastic energy, and you get such a wide range of music that they can play since they have so many band members that are able to lead sing. I cannot say enough good things. If you are on the fence and have the budget, I say go for it!

So much talent we cannot say enough about them. Kyle then switched over and DJ'ed for the rest of the night. Kyle is outstanding and did an incredible job. For a smaller wedding, we were shocked at how the dance floor was bumping all night long. We had so much fun. Kyle and his band were super easy to work with from start to end.
