The Stables

Having our wedding at The Stables was an absolute dream come true. We were married on a Friday and were so fortunate to be given the day before to set up everything in preparation for the big day. The flower garden was blooming in full force and the space was perfect to accommodate our 230 guests. Mary is such a pleasure to work with and ensures that your big day will go exactly the way you envision it.

The Stables was an absolutely incredible venue. Our outdoor wedding in mid-July was more amazing than we could have ever imagined. Everyone at The Stables was a pleasure to work with. They answered our questions promptly, and helped our vision come to life. We cannot recommend The Stables enough if you are looking for an absolutely stunning venue both indoors and outdoors.

My husband and I had the privilege our ceremony and reception at The Stables. Mary worked so well with us, especially after having to postpone and move our wedding a year due to Covid. Mary always responded back quickly to emails and questions we had, gave different ideas and did great with helping take a lot of stress off of our big day. The venue was beautiful and truly was a fairytale wedding. I would recommend this venue to everyone!

We booked this venue for our September 2020 wedding. Mary gave us a tour back in 2018, and we immediately fell in love with the venue for both our ceremony and reception. Mary was super helpful throughout our planning process, and quickly answered any questions we had. We loved that we could bring in our own caterer, and all of our other vendors, and that they didn't have a list of vendors that we had to use, although they did give us a list that they'd worked with before and recommended. Wheeler farms also made sure to send us regular emails and updates during all of the uncertainty in 2020. I would highly recommend the Stables to any couple looking to get married in the Toledo/Maumee area.

After meeting Mary and touring The Stables once, we knew this was where we wanted to get married! The venue is absolutely beautiful. I had always wanted an outdoor wedding, and one thing that I loved about The Stables was that we had the option to move the ceremony inside if needed. Fortunately, we had a beautiful day and the Wheeler family was very gracious to help us make our wedding possible after many changes had to be made as a result of COVID-19.

Since the day I got engaged, the only thing I knew for certain (other than who my handsome husband would be ;) was that I wanted to have our wedding at The Stables! There is no venue in this whole area that encompasses everything as perfectly as The Stables did. They allowed us to bring in EVERYTHING we wanted from food, to alcohol, to decorations, to flowers! I was able to make this wedding exactly what my husband and I pictured and wanted for our special day. Living 3 hours away, Mary was AMAZING at staying in contact with us, providing recommendations for vendors, and meeting with us on crazy days and times last minute when it worked for us! On our wedding day, we were able to utilize both barns for us to stay separated while getting ready. The flowers were in PERFECT full bloom (and SO gorg!), the lights strung on the patio and inside made the night sparkly and beautiful, and we were able to have both sets of doors open all night which allowed for easy flow of all our guests. We didn't even need to leave the property for all our pictures and got the most beautiful shots I could've ever imagined. I highly recommend booking with The Stables if you want to have a picture perfect day that you and none of your guests will ever forget!

After our first venue canceled on us, we were lucky enough that The Stables just started having winter weddings and had our date available! It was meant to be! The Stables was an absolute perfect venue to be able to put your own spin on your wedding. So many venues are a "pick and choose" deal, but, The Stables lets you pick everything on your own to make it uniquely "you"... even if that means you want a taco bar, like this bride did :) (It was a hit, obviously). The day was absolutely perfect and The Stables was close to several great photo locations. We used the Christmas Tree Farm and Oak Openings. I couldn't possibly give a higher review. My one and only complaint would be the location is far from hotels. But, that problem was easily solved by having a shuttle service - well worth the money! Thank you, Mary, and all other Stables staff for being a part of #leapingintozeitler - the perfect start to our marriage!

We had our wedding reception at The Stables in June 2019 and loved it! The venue is beautiful and so is the surrounding property. We loved that we were able to get all of our photos done in that area, and didn't feel the need to travel anywhere else since there are so many spots to choose from. We also liked how bright and open the interior space is. Everyone we worked with was helpful and professional and our day ran very smoothly. I would definitely recommend it!

Words cannot describe how beautiful The Stables is. The venue is absolutely perfect and the staff they have is AMAZING!! Mary and Duke were wonderful people to work with and went out of their way to make sure my wife and I had the perfect day! We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue and how amazing it was!! We highly recommend!!!!!!

The venue was absolutely gorgeous, I have recently used it for my wedding. The staff was amazing to work with, and always so helpful throughout the whole planning process. I would highly recommend anyone to book with them!!

This venue is truly stunning and magical. The barn provides an amazing space to accommodate a large amount of guests and is beautiful without any decor. The drapes and chandeliers give such a romantic feel and the grounds are simply beautiful. Mary was such a joy to work with and made the planning process so easy. She was incredibly responsive throughout and willing to answer all of our questions. They recently added AC which is a huge perk to this already incredible space. All of our guests were simply blown away and couldn't say enough good things about The Stables. My husband and I are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding and we cannot wait to see the photos and videos with this amazing venue as the back drop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL VENUE! I got nothing but compliments from all of my guests and anyone who sees my wedding photos on Facebook/Internet. They have great communication and always answered any questions or concerns I had. I worked closely with Mary, she is amazing and just so so sweet. You can have the option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony. It can be anywhere on their property but have two beautiful places set-up already for you. The reception is inside, but you can open up the beautiful barn doors and have cocktail hour outside with games and a fire-pit that they provide (you bring your own firewood). They have beautiful already strung lights and drapery for you, and they just added three amazing chandeliers. They also have heat for when it's cold! Huge plus because our entire wedding day it was freezing and raining. I would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding here. My only compliant was, yes they provide you chairs and tables for inside use only. But if your wedding is outside you have to rent your own chairs. Wasn't a huge deal just cost us extra money we didn't know we were going to have to spend. But obviously they still receive a five star because they're still an amazing and beautiful wedding venue.

We had our fall wedding at The Stables last year and it was magical! A beautiful setting for a fall wedding. We enjoyed the cool night With all the doors open and view of the beautiful farm! My guest adored the rustic charm and openness of the space. Everyone we worked with was professional and willing to help at anytime ! We couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out. We would highly recommend this space for all fall weddings ! Our pictures are featured above !

Attended a wedding reception Jun18; no air conditioning. Realize this is a "barn" but ... no A/C? Everyone was quite uncomfortable...if we would have known we would have worn shorts.

Christy and Duke are phenomenal. We could not have asked for better people to work with on such an important day. Not only is The Stables just breathtaking, but I was blown away by how well we were taken care of throughout the entire process. Our guests are still saying it's the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to and we owe that to The Stables!

A beautiful venue, however with no AC it makes it very uncomfortable in humid 80 plus degree weather. The two stand alone AC units didn't even begin to cool the inside space down since they weren't even blowing "cold"air. A place this gorgeous should have AC installed so guests can enjoy themselves without feeling like sweat hogs....

A magical venue -- love, love, love the staff. Everyone was so helpful to make the day a special adventure without much effort! Highly recommend this venue!!

This place is absolutely beautiful. After getting closer and closer to the date of our wedding and after spending $4,500 dollars on this venue we realized quickly that the price was a bit much for what is offered and they have a lot of restrictions! You have to provide everything yourself such as the table clothes, cups, silver wear, chairs for outside if you plan on having an outside ceremony, any staff that you need is all on you( I. e... Bartenders or wait staff) You simply are paying for the beauty of the building and land up keep itself. I think they ask a little to much and nothing is refundable. However, My photographs are amazing thanks to the pure beauty of the land and the facility is very clean well kept.

We had our wedding reception here on May 16th and could not have been happier! Our guests were raving about this venue - everyone thought it was beautiful and unique. Christy & Colleen were wonderful to work with. Our most amazing wedding photos were taken here.. this place is beautiful inside and out!
