super helpful throughout our planning process, and quickly answered any questions we had. We loved that we could bring in our own caterer, and all of our other vendors, and that they didn't have a list of vendors that we had to use, although they did give us a list that they'd worked with before and recommended. Wheeler farms also made sure to send us regular emails and updates during all of the uncertainty in 2020. I would highly recommend the Stables to any couple looking to get married in the Toledo/Maumee area.

thing that I loved about The Stables was that we had the option to move the ceremony inside if needed. Fortunately, we had a beautiful day and the Wheeler family was very gracious to help us make our wedding possible after many changes had to be made as a result of COVID-19.

I was able to make this wedding exactly what my husband and I pictured and wanted for our special day. Living 3 hours away, Mary was AMAZING at staying in contact with us, providing recommendations for vendors, and meeting with us on crazy days and times last minute when it worked for us! On our wedding day, we were able to utilize both barns for us to stay separated while getting ready. The flowers were in PERFECT full bloom (and SO gorg!), the lights strung on the patio and inside made the night sparkly and beautiful, and we were able to have both sets of doors open all night which allowed for easy flow of all our guests. We didn't even need to leave the property for all our pictures and got the most beautiful shots I could've ever imagined. I highly recommend booking with The Stables if you want to have a picture perfect day that you and none of your guests will ever forget!

absolute perfect venue to be able to put your own spin on your wedding. So many venues are a "pick and choose" deal, but, The Stables lets you pick everything on your own to make it uniquely "you"... even if that means you want a taco bar, like this bride did :) (It was a hit, obviously). The day was absolutely perfect and The Stables was close to several great photo locations. We used the Christmas Tree Farm and Oak Openings. I couldn't possibly give a higher review. My one and only complaint would be the location is far from hotels. But, that problem was easily solved by having a shuttle service - well worth the money! Thank you, Mary, and all other Stables staff for being a part of #leapingintozeitler - the perfect start to our marriage!

give such a romantic feel and the grounds are simply beautiful. Mary was such a joy to work with and made the planning process so easy. She was incredibly responsive throughout and willing to answer all of our questions. They recently added AC which is a huge perk to this already incredible space. All of our guests were simply blown away and couldn't say enough good things about The Stables. My husband and I are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding and we cannot wait to see the photos and videos with this amazing venue as the back drop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

answered any questions or concerns I had. I worked closely with Mary, she is amazing and just so so sweet. You can have the option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony. It can be anywhere on their property but have two beautiful places set-up already for you. The reception is inside, but you can open up the beautiful barn doors and have cocktail hour outside with games and a fire-pit that they provide (you bring your own firewood). They have beautiful already strung lights and drapery for you, and they just added three amazing chandeliers. They also have heat for when it's cold! Huge plus because our entire wedding day it was freezing and raining. I would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding here. My only compliant was, yes they provide you chairs and tables for inside use only. But if your wedding is outside you have to rent your own chairs. Wasn't a huge deal just cost us extra money we didn't know we were going to have to spend. But obviously they still receive a five star because they're still an amazing and beautiful wedding venue.

as a bit much for what is offered and they have a lot of restrictions! You have to provide everything yourself such as the table clothes, cups, silver wear, chairs for outside if you plan on having an outside ceremony, any staff that you need is all on you( I. e... Bartenders or wait staff) You simply are paying for the beauty of the building and land up keep itself. I think they ask a little to much and nothing is refundable. However, My photographs are amazing thanks to the pure beauty of the land and the facility is very clean well kept.
