Our fall wedding at the Wingate Barn was absolutely perfect! The barn is a beautiful venue and it was everything we wanted and more. Leighana was absolutely amazing and helped to make our day such a special one! She goes above and beyond and she’s exactly who you want helping you with your big day! Her communication is top notch and her enthusiasm for what she does makes the process a great experience. We would recommend Leighana and the barn to anyone and everyone!

The Wingate Barn was built in the late 1800s and operated as a working dairy farm for the next century. The barn housed feed for the cows upstairs and kept livestock comfortable downstairs. During the past 20 years, the barn has been transformed previously by its former owner Dolores and her team, and we've hosted an abundance of beautiful wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday parties, family reunions, and school functions! We've recently made numerous improvements and renovations to the property, including new decks, bathrooms, and our famous bridal room – which used to be the milk house! Eye-catching flowerbeds and trees have been placed throughout the property to enhance the natural beauty of the barn and make wedding receptions and other events feel even more spectacular. Your guests will surely enjoy playing lawn games or taking a stroll to get a glimpse of the scenic farmland. They may even be lucky enough to catch the stunning sunsets we get to experience here in Livonia, NY. With new Owners & Event Managers Roger & Leighana Wing, they sure never miss a beat and want your special day to be the best day, with as little stress as possible! Together Roger & Leighana have worked behind the scenes with Dolores Cicero as she's transformed this one working dairy farm into the masterpiece it is today. As the first couple to have their rehearsal dinner in the Wingate Barn just after the purchase they are now on their way to even greater things with the venue. We also have a passion and love for both farm & animals, which they have both of on their Homestead in Livonia NY as well

ning process, we had to switch venues. We were able to keep our original date, and it was not too much further from our original venue either. But it truly was like Dorothy stepping into Oz—suddenly, everything was in technicolor. Not only is Leighana a beautiful human who is just so kind and funny, she is on top of her sh*t. She and her husband Roger are a well-oiled machine, and every wedding they put on there is gorgeous AND well-coordinated. Plus they've got an awesome team of people. She put out so many fires even before the wedding day, including helping us get in touch with vendors when there were issues. We could not have done it without her. And I'm honestly sad the wedding is over because I don't get to see her anymore! We are so stinking grateful, and we always will be.

behind the scenes pictures and videos that she sent to us from the entire day and we have been looking at them since in total awe! We were able to fully enjoy the day, laugh and make amazing memories because we didn’t have to worry about anything. We could not recommend this barn enough if you are looking for an easy, relaxed and fun experience for your wedding with the added bonus of an amazing friend at the end of it!

ecor that you can use for your wedding day that is already included in the cost, so no having to spend money on decorations you will only use once! Not to mention, the venue is already at a great price, much lower than any other in the area. Leighana has great taste, and is always researching ways to improve the barn or add creative new ideas. I completely trusted her advice, and let her add any decorative touches as she saw fit, and it turned out amazing. Another fun bonus is that Leighana takes photos throughout the day as well and so you get a little sneak peak into your day by the next day, which we enjoyed. I would highly recommend the Wingate Barn, it is a beautiful venue and the staff made our day run so smoothly!

he decorations and bridal suites were a huge plus for us. Leighana was a tremendous help and support for my wife and I. She helped with planning and decorating a lot for us. She was the most responsive venue manager I encountered and would answer any questions we had, and we had a lot. Truly a beautiful place and wonderful team. I highly recommend anyone to use this venue for events such as weddings or graduation parties. Thank you so much!!

we had looked at, and didn’t need to look at any others! Leighana and Roger are very welcoming and make the entire process smooth and easy! From touring the barn, updates along the way, recommendations, setup, rehearsal and the big day! They were there, ALWAYS! We were their first wedding of the season and they did so much to make the barn even more beautiful than it already was! It was more than we could have dreamed of. The hard work and dedication they have to their work is amazing! They gave us recommendations for all of our vendors and they were the best recommendations and everyone worked so well together! I cannot say enough about Leighana and Roger! And they even brought two of their ADORABLE goats to our wedding because one of us happens to be OBSESSED;)! We were very blessed to have such a perfect day and it would not have been possible at all without Leighana and Roger! If you want your wedding day to be fun, relaxed and full of love, Wingate is the answer! We are forever grateful for Leighana and Roger! Thank you!

we had for the layout really came together and looked beautiful, both the inside of the barn and the outside where the ceremony took place. We had many guests afterwards tell us afterwards that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and a lot of that had to do with the venue and the atmosphere it provided. Dolores also acted as our day of coordinator and she actually must just be an earth bound angel because she is wonderful.

they have onsite bathrooms as many restored barns do not. They also have tables and chairs onsite so unless you are looking for something specific it saves you on having to rent these items. The owner is not great with communication - often not responding to emails or phone calls but helpful when you do finally catch her. And I must say- the day of our event both the owner of the venue and her team were over the top helpful- running marriage licenses to the groomsmen- running interferance so I could make a quick pit stop before the ceremony and ensuring that everything was set up beautifully. They really pulled it off and were very helpful and kind to our family and friends. Don't sweat the communication issues (hard for a bride I know) it will all iron out. It truly is a fabulous venue!
