Tiger Travel Service

We used Tiger Travel to book and coordinate travel for a destination wedding with 110+ family and friends in Mexico. We found our agent, Jeanene and the owner Jamie, to be lacking in their attention to detail, timely communication, and follow through. Tiger’s poor performance added a level of stress to the wedding planning that was unnecessary and even painful. Their lack of timely communication and follow through seemed to become more pronounced as we got closer to the event. Calls and emails could take 24, 48 hours or more to get returned and there was very little proactive involvement from their side in handling issues as they came up. Issues that arose included rooms from our room block being given up without our authorization, inaccurate airline information, missed deadlines in getting out travel documents, poor flight recommendations, lack of follow up, etc. Finally, the day before our daughter and her husband were to check into their honeymoon hotel, our agent was notified that they have overbooked the hotel and would need them to move to a sister property. Tiger never bothered to try and reach us or attempt to resolve the issue and left us to work through the problem on our own. We engaged Tiger Travel because we understood them to be a full-service travel agency that could use their entire team to assist our guests; one that could make great recommendations, have serious attention to detail, run block and tackle for us and handle problems promptly and professionally as they occur. On all points, we were disappointed.
