moment we met Jewelee, we knew she was the secret sauce to this venue. She is incredibly patient and helpful, answering very quickly my million questions I had in the planning process. She gave great adivce, was honest and helpful, and helped make the small, unique details come to life. The location itself is stunning- Jewelee keeps the farm in such great condition. We wanted a fall wedding in an outdoor setting and it couldn't have been more perfect. The barn itself is stunning- very little decoration needed inside because it stands alone in it's beauty. We got so many compliments on how elegant yet comfortable the setting was. We could not have been more pleased and I would shout from the rooftops a million times over how wonderful and perfect Jewelee and this location is.

Price was very reasonable and they have an entire shed full of decorations you can use free of charge!!

door ceremony space is perfect, with sound capabilities there already, a beautiful arch, stepping stones for the wedding party, a paved aisle, and permanent seating. Our guests loved the ability to flow from inside to out, and the firepit was a huge hit. We got so many compliments on the venue and it truly looked amazing all decorated. Jewelee is so wonderful to work with and extremely accommodating. She has an inventory of decor to use and is very flexible, helpful, and quick to respond to questions. Since they only book one wedding per weekend we felt like we got all the time and attention, and vendors were able to set up early and pick up later than having to do it all in one day. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

meet back in the barn for a fun, intimate reception. The entire grounds are absolutely beautiful, especially for a spring/summer/ or fall wedding. Jewlee, the wonder, is the best there is. She was always extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. They also provide a shed with lots of “extra” items like signage and decor which is a huge bonus, I don’t feel like most venues provide that. If you’re even thinking of booking, definitely do that!

She was tremendously helpful from day one - always available for questions, great communication, and a lending ear to my indecisiveness 😊 We loved the bridal & groom’s suites. There were so many incredible spots to take pictures on property. Our day was perfect from start to finish!

our special day. The barn itself was the perfect space for all of our guests. We were able to easily accommodate almost 200 guests for dinner and dancing. The outdoor space was the perfect overflow for guests and children to take advantage of. While a barn may be assumed to have a more rustic feel, we were impressed with how we were able to easily dress up the space to give it the elegant and classy feel we were looking for. Truly perfection. Lastly, we were surprised by how many of our guests gave us feedback that they loved being able to get out of town for a wedding reception rather than going to a typical downtown venue. Guests loved having a little "getaway" from the KC area. If you are local to KC do not hesitate to book this venue!!

We immediately paid the difference & secured the date - this was the start of everything "falling into place", which would happen countless times throughout the 98 day planning process. Jewelee is one of the most wonderful people I have met. Her venue is absolutely incredible and her customer service is outstanding. We truly couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue. Everything about our day was PERFECT - the weather, the venue, the colors and decorations, the music, the food truck and beer van; everything. We can't thank Jewelee enough for being a part of our wedding day. We will cherish these memories forever and I will recommend this venue to everyone looking for an outdoor venue. d us to keep looking to make sure we got what we wanted. Hesitantly, we kept looking but every other venue lacked something (no bridal room to get ready, not enough seating, too expensive, etc.). So we returned to Tobacco Barn and Jewelee helped us make sure we had everything ready to go for our big day. BUT what made this venue shine above all others was the attentiveness and genuine love the owners have for sharing this barn with couples on their wedding days. Jewelee not only helped us figure out how to have our dream wedding amid COVID chaos, but she also worked alongside our wedding coordinator and designer/decorator the whole morning of the wedding. My parents even commented on her work ethic, saying she went above and beyond in helping with all the minor details and loose ends. My husband and I felt extremely blessed that we were able to have all the family and friends we wanted at our wedding there. We knew too many friends who had to cancel, reschedule, and then cancel their wedding this year. Somehow (by the grace of God and the lovely people at Tobacco Barn), ours went untouched by any COVID disasters. I’ll forever be grateful that my husband and I will be able to look back on our wedding and it not be tainted by any of the craziness from what happened in 2020. Thank you Tobacco Barn for making our wedding day a day we’ll cherish forever. *And if you need further convincing of how accommodating and good hearted the owners of Tobacco Barn are, here’s one last story: somehow in the shuffling of gathering all the decorations at the end of the night into family cars, a metal sign that my mother-in-law custom made for our rehearsal dinner and wedding got lost. We notified Jewelee and she was able to find it. We told her we would be able to pick it up within a few weeks, but after settling into school, work, and the craziness of life after the wedding we completely forgot. This week she offered to ship it to us. Today we got it safe and sound through the mail, and they took care of shipping expenses even though it was our mistake of leaving it at the venue. This is above and beyond!!!...so with that, I’ll just say that we cannot recommend anyone other than Tobacco Barn💕

The inside of the barn has so much charm, I didn't feel the need to incorporate many decorations because the barn was enough. I was able to get my couple’s photos back to them in a week because everything I mentioned above = easy, quick edits. Not only is the space gorgeous, but the owner was very hands-on. She not only checked on the bride and groom (even though they had a coordinator and she could have easily assumed everything was taken care of), she also made sure I had everything I needed to best serve my clients!
