The band members of No Idea Band are AWESOME!!! My wedding was so much fun and I never left the dance floor!!! They were so fun, they played music according to the crowd, and kept everyone on their dancing feet!!! They played every song I asked for and never questioned anything no matter the genre!! PS. If you like rock music then they are your band! I’d highly recommend No Idea Band to any future bride and groom! I wish I could relive this night all over again thanks to them! <3 YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!

o Idea is incredibly talented and they rock! They have a huge selection of songs to choose from, and Troy is communicative and can really help shape the vibe of the night to fit your vision. The band has old rock, new pop, slow and fast songs to dance to, and everything in between, plus quite a few local New Orleans hits. They also do second line music to really give a perfect sendoff. For our first dance songs, Troy even took into account that we modified parts of the songs to match our choreography, and the band nailed it.
I could not more highly recommend Troy Marks and No Idea - they really are talented performers and bring the highest level of professionalism and fun to your wedding!

ren’t sure we wanted or could afford a band but after we contacted Troy and talked about what we wanted we were pumped to have them play at our daughter’s wedding. Everything went smoothly after signing the contract and they handled everything. I upgraded the venue to a stage to set them apart from the crowd (hope it wasn’t too tight!). Once the first wedding songs were done the party was on! I grabbed a plate of food but didn’t eat a bite (and I paid a lot for the food) as I was grabbed by family and friends to get in the dance floor. Once everyone had a few drinks and we were out there the party was ON!!! The range of songs and their performance was awesome. After the wedding I can’t tell you how many people told us how much they loved the wedding and how much No Idea kicked ass!!! As I told my daughter “it’s your wedding but it’s my party!!” If you’re thinking of a DJ or a band spend a little extra and hire No Idea!!!

Troy was able to bring enough equipment for our interpreters to be mic’d and they were so accommodating with some last minute things that took place during the wedding. They have a male and female singer and can play a wide range of songs, but the kicker is their energy. For example, they interacted with the crowd, got everyone to the do soul train, had us get on stage to dance, and they also let our family do a performance. They knew what to play to get the party started, and they chose songs on and off our list to achieve this. During and after the wedding we received many compliments on how great they sounded and how fun they were. I even had a guest tell me that "This band is the best I've ever heard at a wedding!" I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a band in the Greater New Orleans Area.

and dancing all night long. Troy Marks and No Idea was simply the best choice anyone could make for a band. In fact, we were all dancing so much, we didn't even eat the dinner! Troy worked with us on our special song list and even learned a song or two for our special dances. I can't rave enough about Troy Marks and No Idea. They were absolutely the best band ever!

er and the wedding will be in the middle of his radiation treatment. His tone went quite differenct from the time I booked him. He was very insensitive to the situation and said he would still like for me to pay him the entire balance even though he would not be performing. As it turned out he booked another gig for that date and when I contacted him to ask for the return of my $1000 deposit he refused even though he had a 90 day notice. There are a lot of bands in New Orleans that are just as good or better than No Idea. I would not recommend anyone hiring them for an event.

I feel that I must clarify that we did not play another gig on the night of your cancelled wedding and were off on that June Saturday night. Also, our deposit requirement is in line with most other bands in our area.
