I'm a wedding coordinator and I had the opportunity to work with Beau and his team for a wedding in February 2024. The food they brought was delicious (and there was plenty of it!), their bar staff was friendly and efficient, and their food displays were well thought out and aesthetically appealing. The staff was super nice and helpful and the minute they walked in, Beau said "if you need anything, just let us know. We're all on the same team." That spoke volumes to me. I love working with other professionals that all have the same goal in mind: create an awesome event for our clients and work together to make sure that they have a great time.

I recently used Twisted Radish Catering for my wedding reception at the Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin Visitor Center in Spring Green WI and they were absolutely fantastic!
COMMUNICATION: I live out of state and thought it might be difficult to work remotely with a caterer, but Nicki made the whole experience easy and fun. I really felt like she took the time to make sure I was happy with everything and was always available to chat on the phone or quick to respond to my emails.
GRAZING BOARDS + APPETIZERS: I was drawn to Twisted Radish by the photos on their website of their elaborate grazing boards (because appetizers are always one of my favorite parts of a wedding..), and it was so fun creating a delicious spread with Nicki's help. The end result was even better than I expected, she went out of her way to make sure everything was displayed beautifully and it all tasted amazing.
DINNER: We did a plated dinner with three different main course options - Wedding Day Salmon, Herbed Tri Tip and Apple Cider Chicken. Each plate came with heirloom carrots with rosemary and orange, garlic broccoli with chili flakes, roasted fingerling potatoes, poached pear salad and sourdough dinner rolls. She even surprised us with butter boards for the rolls! Every dish tasted amazing, even better than I imagined.
COFFEE AND DESSERT: Nicki set up a incredible coffee station complete with almond and oat milks in vintage carafes. I have a lot of coffee snobs in the family, and they all approved of the coffee. She also make us two homemade ice cream flavors (vanilla bean and blackberry) that were fantastic.
STAFF: Everyone from Twisted Radish was so kind and extremely professional. You can tell they love what they do.
I would 100% recommend Twisted Radish for any future events needing delicious and beautiful food. I feel extremely lucky they were available because I feel like we got the very best of the best!
Twisted Radish was the "icing on the cake” for our speculator wedding event on MMoCA rooftop. The culinary offerings and artistic visual presentation was noticed by all! We choose a food station style of reception which was felt truly personalized down to the smallest details to meet the wishes of the bride and groom. Beau and Nicki were responsive to all questions and requests, which were many throughout the planning process. Nicki is to be personally commended for her hands on, open to changes, “can-do” and positive demeanor. The advance Tasting experience was very helpful in selecting a perfect, customized menu. The staff is also to be commended. During the event they were notably friendly and professional with us and our guests. Because Twisted Radish took care of the complete set up (including bistro lighting) and tear down, it allowed the families to focus on the day and end on a carefree, keep-the-fun-going note! We would highly recommend using Twisted Radish for the "wedding of your dreams"….or any catering event!
The Twisted Radish provided us with an outstanding meal that was personalized to our taste as we wanted a meal with a Latin flare. The tacos for appetizers were delicious and we heard many compliments on the tacos and entrees. The caterer was very flexible with serving food as we adjusted timing due to the cool weather. We would highly recommend them and use them again.
We hired Twisted Radish to handle our catering, bartending, alcohol procurement, rentals, and staff - basically, they ran our whole event for us. They were fantastic! I couldn't be happier.
They were easy to work with, flexible, and clear about timelines and prices. The tasting was great - they cook very delicious food! In particular, lots of guests commented on how good the spicy broccoli was (and how often do you hear that?). Our main mistake was not ordering enough of their "small bites" for the cocktail hour; these went so fast that some people never even saw them!
Their staff was friendly and helpful, and they had everything handled. We originally planned on a ceremony outside, a cocktail hour inside while they flipped the space, and then a reception back outside, but it started raining right after the ceremony. They pivoted beautifully and helped us move the guests to another area for the cocktail hour, while they set up the inside area for the dinner and dancing. They even kept our card box safe and brought down the card box and gifts at the end of the night for us to carry away.
I can't recommend these folks enough - they did a wonderful job and made sure that our wedding was fun and lovely for us as well as the guests. Thank you Nicki, Beau, and Brittany!
0ver the top food and presentation for our daughter and son-in-law's reception in May 2022! Our guests so enjoyed all of the delicious grazing board treats, earth oven chicken with crispy potato wedges, and flavorful market skillet, in addition to the wedding salmon and arugula salad with couscous! The staff was so professional and pleasant. Beau and Nicki treat you like part of their family and make everything come together seamlessly! Thank you for helping to make Kate and Derek's special day the best ever! I cannot recommend Twisted Radish Catering enough!
I am a wedding planner and have worked with many catering companies. The wedding I worked with TR on was a private residence wedding in Milwaukee. Private residence weddings can be tricky because of the limited space and more logistics to work through but TR did an amazing job prepping fresh food and providing probably the best wedding meal I've ever had at a wedding. They cooked the roasted pig over the fire and made the most amazing grazing table I have ever had! It is certainly a meal to remember and I hope to work with TR more in the future. If you are looking for great wedding/event catering, you should definitely hire Twisted Radish! You will get excellent food and high-quality service.

The Twisted Radish exceeded all expectations! The food was phenomenal, got so many compliments!! The grazing boards and cocktail hour food was SO delicious and beautifully displayed!! We truly enjoyed working with chef Beau and his team! They took care of all the details on the day of and our guests were cared for!
I was blown away! My husband and I worked with Beau and his team for our wedding in early October 2021. We could not have been more pleased! Beau was quick to respond and worked with me on a few special requests. He even created a menu just for the kids! Throughout our experience Beau was professional, enthusiastic, and a joy to work with. The food was absolutely stunning, both in quality and presentation. Our guests could not say enough. We will definitely be using Twisted Radish again for future events!
Twisted Radish was amazing! We loved the idea of allowing our guests to mingle throughout the night and being able to stop at multiple tables where beautifully food and décor was arranged. We had a number of guests ask with whom we catered! The staff were fantastic as well. We'll use them again and again in the future.
I would absolutely recommend this catering company to anyone looking for a Madison area caterer. The food was unbelievably good- everybody was raving about it- and they were so easy to work with and accommodating. The owner was on site periodically to ensure everything was running smoothly, and the bartender was fun and attentive. I can't speak highly enough of this company!
