Hiring Maggie as our live wedding painter was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From start to finish, she was kind, professional, and incredibly talented. Watching her bring our wedding to life on canvas was such a special experience. Not only for us, but for all of our guests too.
What made it even more meaningful was how she thoughtfully included portraits of our loved ones who are no longer with us. It was such a beautiful way to honor them, and it brought tears to our eyes seeing them forever captured in our wedding painting.

As the bride and groom, we wanted to capture the fleeting, unforgettable moments of our big day as we’ve been told it goes by in the blink of an eye! I’ve been following Maggie on Instagram since 2020 (earlier on TikTok but I’ve since deleted the app), and cannot begin to describe how incredibly lucky I feel to have been chosen to attend and paint our wedding. Maggie exceeded our every expectation! What struck us most about Maggie was her ability to capture the pure essence of the true happiness we felt and the fun moments that occurred throughout the wedding day! Her attention to detail and artistic eye brought out the small, tender moments that may have been overlooked.
Maggie was not only a master behind the canvas, but also a true professional. She arrived on time, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made us feel truly at ease throughout the whole day! We mostly dealt with her sister, Melody, throughout the planning process and her level of communication is impeccable as she was always willing to answer a text, email or call whenever we had a question, so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding. We interacted with Maggie as the wedding got closer to go over the necessary information to capture, transform and bring to life the ideas we had for the vision of our wedding painting. She was a true champion throughout our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia! After hearing what particular image we wanted painted, she suggested many different ideas and shots, which ended up helping the painting become our favorite memory from the day. She threw in a couple of our requested “Easter eggs”, which included our two dogs, Lola & LeBron, a cardinal for our lost loved ones who couldn’t be at the wedding, and most importantly to me (the bride) a tribute to my father who died and was not able to be with me on this special day.
Receiving the finished painting at the end of the night was our greatest gift of all. We’re blown away by the level of craftsmanship and artistry. Our painting is a true work of art that evokes the joy and tenderness we experienced during those precious moments. Maggie managed to encapsulate those emotions and create timeless memories that we will cherish forever! Maggie is amazing! She created the most beautiful piece that my husband and I will cherish forever. Leading up to our wedding, Maggie and her team were very responsive and communicated often. She offered her expertise and suggestions for the best setting/moment to capture for our painting, and even asked about my home decor style and colors to make sure the painting would work well in our home! Our guests loved visiting her throughout the evening to watch her work and bring the painting to life. She even provided a travel bag for us to safely bring the painting home at the end of the night. Maggie came to my wedding December 2nd, 2023 and wow everyoneeeeee was amazed with her. I literally ran up and hugged her when I first saw her! She has such an amazing energy and her work is just jaw droppingly beautiful. Even my vendors stopped what they were doing to watch her paint at some points. Her talent is out of this world and I cannot encourage people enough -- do not hesitate, book her! When we saw the finished work of our wedding painting I jumped up and down and squealed because she captured all the details perfectly. I am so excited to have this keepsake and my guests literally starting asking Maggie for her instagram to hire her too. What a gift to have this painting. I know it will pass down through future generations. Maggie was absolutely amazing, and her coordinator/sister is equally outstanding. They were extremely professional and took care to follow every instruction and fulfill all the details I wanted. I felt like I was meeting my celebrity crush! She could not have been any nicer, not only to me but to my guests and family who inquired and stopped by her painting set. Cannot recommend enough. She was the most important piece of my wedding by far, and she was the first thing I booked even before I had a date or venue (I actually based everything else around the date that worked for her!)

It's incredibly difficult to know where to begin with Maggie. Her personality, energy, mastery & being as a whole is out of this world. She is easily one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. It has been such a joy seeing everything she's created on social media and it feels like such an honor to have had her come to our wedding and do the same for us. I lost my mother just over 3 years ago to breast cancer, lost my brother last year to Covid, my husband's grandfather also passed away, and we lost our fur baby earlier this year. Maggie was able to incorporate all of them in to the painting and it was amazing and just truly the most beautiful way to have them be part of our day.

Maggie was terrifically wonderful. She was so kind and UNBELIEVEABLY talented. The painting for my wedding was perfect, I cried when I saw it and I cannot say enough good things about her! My guests also still keep complementing how outgoing and talented she was as well! 10/10 would recommend, it is SO worth it.
If you’re looking for a queen- you’ve found her. I knew I wanted to paint at my wedding on July, 2020. I wasn’t even engaged yet but she was THE ONE. My entire wedding day was based on Maggie being available. Fun fact we booked maggie before we knew of a venue. I just knew she had to be there to capture the most memorable day of my life. I could not be more amazed with her. First, she is so genuine. You can feel her energy and happiness from a mile away. She is just so so kind. She is super professional. She lets you make the big decisions. She wants you to LOVE your painting- not like- LOVE. Her sister Melody is great with communication- responds quickly and she’s also nice. Overall, it is an investment but with Maggie you are getting an experience AND a painting. She is a bad bi**h (sorry for my language). She is just- hire her. We are over the moon with our beautiful painting made by the one and only Maggie! We looked at several painters and are so glad we chose Maggie. Her paintings are exceptional and the attention to detail is one of a kind. She has been easy to get ahold of prior to our event, very responsive, showed up on time, didn’t mind our guests coming over and asking questions/admiring her work. I'm not sure it gets better than this. The talent that Maggie has is beyond words. She was able to capture exactly what I was looking for. There's really not much I can put into words in a review how incredibly special having Maggie a part of your wedding is until you actually experience it. For weeks leading up to our wedding, I said to my now wife that Maggie will be the hit of the night. And without a doubt, she was. Her talent is nothing I have ever seen and we felt so incredibly lucky and grateful to have Maggie a part of our day. It was fun to see our guests gravitate to her work all night long and we couldn't wait to see it for ourselves. When planning my wedding I wanted to do something I hadn't seen before. When I found Watch Maggie Paint, I knew this was it! I will be honest my husband was not as sold on the idea. However, our painting is not only our favorite keepsake from our wedding but my husband and our guests could not stop talking about how much fun it was to watch Maggie paint at our reception. If I had to guess I would say that Maggie is going to be very busy so if you want her to paint your wedding book her ASAP. You will be so happy you did!

Maggie blew us away with our wedding painting! She also won over our guests and other vendors immediately as they were mesmerized by her talent and personality at our wedding. You can give her direction on what to paint but we told her to pick the moment she felt was right to paint (she is the expert) & we couldn’t be happier with the final product.
