The property consists of numerous buildings highlighting the history of this century old farm. A Victorian farmhouse, an original barn dating back to the late 1800s and significant outdoor space create a beautiful and serene setting. Choose from a number of sites for your wedding event. The expansive green space is a lovely setting to exchange vows before celebrating your reception in the renovated barn. A year-round gathering spot is the huge party barn that is temperature-controlled for your comfort. This space can be opened to the outdoors on a beautiful day or closed for a fall or winter wedding. You will appreciate the distinctive décor and brick fireplace of the barn that can host up to 160 seated guests. The barn is equipped with a catering kitchen, handicap accessible restroom and dressing room. Located on this property are various other sites, including an attached covered patio. are wonderful human beings that are here to help you make your dreams come true. Thomas does a phenomenal job at up-keeping the property and making it pristine for every event and tour. Chad has the eye for all the details and works diligently to have everything in its perfect place and timing. Plus he does the floral arrangements and each one is a masterpiece! And Mary - the most wonderful day-of coordinator. As someone who is super type-A, Mary was the person for me. She will take all your worries away and give you her experienced perspective and help you through anything. When she says "trust me", you better trust because she knows what she is doing! This whole team is amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. These are the types of people that mean business and get everything done, but they do it with a sense of care and know that this is the special day for YOU and they take as much pride in making that special day happen even though they do it week after week. I liked that they offer packages, it really took some pressure off. The wedding day of planner was a super hero and nothing went wrong! The space is great for all types of guests, we had some staying on the dance floor, some were sitting in the dining area chatting, some were playing lawn games and some were enjoying the gorgeous greenhouse and views. Mary, the wedding coordinator and Chad, the owner were amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they use on site, which made the process seamless. We heard from our guests that the food was the best food (Thank you Oakley’s Provisions as their caterer) they ever had at a wedding and so many were blown away by the entire day. Chad, Thomas, and Mary made our planning process absolutely seamless and are the primary reason we had such a perfect wedding day. You can tell their efforts for each and every wedding and event is a labor of love, and it shows in the quality of events and weddings they produce. They are easily worth double or triple the cost of the venue.
Deciding to host our wedding at West Milford Farms was the first and best decision we made in our planning process, and I cannot recommend or praise them highly enough.

I enjoyed every part of the planning process with them. And their in house wedding coordinator Mary is literally the best! She handled every detail on wedding day. I probably will never know everything she handled that day but it was seamless and I got to just enjoy the day.

The venue is still relatively new and has a few growing pains, but it’s super affordable and the owners, Chad and Thomas, and the day-of coordinator, Mary, are very friendly and easy to work with. Mary really cared about our day going smoothly, and she worked really hard to make sure it did. My husband and I wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding at West Milford, and we’d definitely recommend them to other couples.

your wedding vision come to life. One of the best parts about this venue (besides how pretty it is!) is that they are so accommodating of your budget, and there is so much included for the price! Not only do you get access to venue for the whole day, but the venue also includes all tables/chairs, plenty of on-site decor, a day-of-coordinator, AND allows you to source your own food/drinks. You can also book Chad (owner) for all your flowers as well, which we did, and he totally made all my Pinterest pictures a reality!! The flowers were absolutely stunning, and half the cost of what I would have paid to an outside vendor! When I first started researching wedding venues, I was so concerned I wouldn't be able to get everything I wanted within our budget, but West Milford Farm really did allow us to have our dream wedding at a cost we could afford! At the end of the night, my husband and I just kept saying to each other how PERFECT the whole day was!

Also Andrea is an incredible asset who assists with day of planning and keeps you as a bride at ease and able to enjoy your day. I even had a small rain shower at the end of my ceremony and they made that go smooth :) I highly recommend this family owned venue to anyone who is looking for a unique space for any event.

to add much. Chad does everything he can to make sure his brides are happy and was always available to answer questions and accommodate. We had about 100 people and there was more than enough room inside the barn for dinner and as well as on the porch for dancing. My husband and I had the absolute best night of our lives and we couldn’t picture having our wedding anywhere else.
We did have one issue though that although did cause me a great deal of stress throughout, does not reflect my view of West Milford Farms or Chad. When you sign your contract you are assigned an on-site coordinater. We were assigned Jill and she did nothing but cause us stress. She continually tried to get us to chance our caterer, which upset my husband. A week leading up to our day she had told my other wedding planner that our reception was ending at 8:30 (we were planning on leaving at 10:15) and when I tried to reach out to clarify, she would not call me back. I couldn’t get a hold of her until the day before our rehearsal. She was rude to our minister, told our photographers that she was going to start dinner while we were still taking our bride and groom pictures, and ignored me the ENTIRE day of our wedding. We received several complaints from our other vendors as well as friends and family that interacted with her. Honestly, we just would have been better off not having her at all.
Once again though, we loved everything about this venue and would recommend it to anyone out there on the hunt for the PERFECT location for their special day.

itant about considering a venue where someone in my circle had their wedding, but after seeing the photos of the property I couldn’t resist scheduling a visit! We ended up driving out to the farm after dark one night, and I must say even at night West Milford Farm was absolutely breathtaking. We were greeted by the owner of the venue Chad Milford. He was incredibly warm and inviting and was happy to accommodate our last minute evening appointment. When you first approach WMF from the road you can see the beautiful picturesque landscape and the gorgeous buildings that frame the property and overlook a breathtaking pasture. Everything was lit up and accented by strings of Edison lights and the barns were so provincial yet elegant. It was our exact aesthetic and we knew our style would fit seamlessly. While touring WMF Chad answered our extensive list of questions thoroughly and made sure we left feeling like we had a very up clear picture of pricing and inclusions. We were elated to know we had the option of bringing in our own vendors, although we ended up going with their florist and one of their caterer options because not only were they well rated but much more affordable than most of the others we researched! I HIGHLY recommend using chad and his florist Misty for your floral arrangements. I had a very particular vision for my arrangements and they went above and beyond my expectations. They were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and no where near the price of competitors. I can admit that I was a bit of a bridezilla and the folks at WMF never made me feel like I was asking for too much or being annoying with my requests, questions and repeated visits to the farm. I truly felt they cared about every detail and wanted to actualize my visions for the day. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place and the people that run WMF. Our Wedding was supposed to be outside overlooking the pasture but when it rained Chad and the crew were ready to go with plan B which ended up being more beautiful than I could ever imagine. We got married in front of their gorgeous fireplace in the main barn and even had access to a GREENHOUSE filled with beautiful and lush ferns and succulents for photos. The rain was not even a factor!!! I truly believe no other venue could have turned that around so seamlessly. On top of all of that, my father in law lost his Wedding Ring the night of our wedding somewhere on the property, and they found it two months later and contacted us because they remembered we were looking for a ring!!! How much better does it get??? You’ll have to experience how amazing this place is for yourself but if you’re even considering a farm style wedding, do yourself a favor and check out West Milford Farm. They truly gave me the wedding of my dreams. 💕💕💕💕

I have made life long friends with Chad, Thomas, and Katie who is the event coordinator/ the most lovable girl EVER!
