We had an issue with our wedding venue and the food ended up coming out late. Joe took it upon himself to go to every single table (mind you, we had almost 200 guests) to apologize on behalf of the wedding venue for the delay of the food, and also took song requests! He checked in with us frequently during the night to make sure we were happy with song choices, and to see if we wanted to make any last minute changes. He made sure there was never a dull moment. We were told by just about everyone that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended. My mom's friend commented that she did not realize how much fun you could have at a wedding and credited our DJ team for creating such a great atmosphere. rit of the Holiday. We wanted an almost cheesy haunted house aesthetic with a funny/lighthearted feel to our whole evening. We told our contact at the venue what we were looking for and he couldn’t speak highly enough about the crew at Wired Up Entertainment. When we spoke to Joey he took the time to discuss the various options we had to create the feel of the evening we were looking for within our budget. We were impressed with the various lighting options and the ability to include TV screens to show spooky visuals and slideshows. We even had the ability to stream our event so friends and family who weren’t able to attend could still see the ceremony and reception. I think what impressed us the most though was how seamless the whole day was. If there was an issue our DJs were on it. We were actually able to enjoy our reception while Eric and Melvin took care of everything. They let us know when it was time to do the important stuff like special dances, cake cutting, etc. so we didn’t have to worry about a darn thing that night. We got to eat our dinner, have our cake, and dance. We were so happy that we could actually enjoy our day. I’m told that’s rare. We found out that there’s a reason Wired Up Entertainment has such a fantastic reputation. We had multiple guests go out of their way to tell us how much fun they had and how fun our DJ was. Eric was great at getting people out on the dancefloor and Melvin was really good at balancing our personal taste in music with stuff that’s more danceable for our guests. That’s talent 😊 We can’t thank Wired Up Entertainment enough for embracing our theme, creating a fantastic Hallowedding atmosphere, and running the evening so we didn’t have to! Wedding planning was stressful enough but Joe made this aspect of the wedding/reception planning stress free! He is an expert at his craft and my biggest piece of advice is to trust Joe and let him do what he does best. We did not compile a list of top songs we that he had to abide by we just told him keep the crowd dancing and having a good time and he didn’t disappoint. So much so that our guests at the end of the reception were chanting “one more song” begging for the fun and dancing to continue.

Joe totally nailed each one, and the awesomeness/hilarity of all the entrances set the tone for the entire awesome night. We loved every minute of our reception, and the majority of that was due to Joe and Wired Up!

He reassured us that changes could be easily made even on the day of and allowed us to personally text him with any changes. His team made sure that we understood that they were not only there to Dj, but to help make our day successful in any way possible. The ceremony was handled to perfection, and guests were kept well informed and engaged. Louie kept the timeline going perfectly, and when it was time to turn to the dance floor- they NAILED it! The team did a perfect mix of classic songs for guests of all ages and when the younger crowd was ready to go hard- they took it to a whole new level. We danced to the very end and the energy level NEVER waivered. Thank you to Louie and team for your professionalism but most importantly for making sure everyone had a blast.

He takes the steps to make sure your wedding is personalized and the website is great. Our dance floor was never empty, the photo booth was a hit and if I had a dollar for every person who told me that they were the best DJ's at any wedding - my wedding could have been fully paid for :) I can't recommend them enough and even had several people ask me for their information at my wedding to use at their own or for their kids.

They would check in with our photographer and caterer to make sure they were all on the same page with timing. Their website is easy to use. We were able to add songs, make payments, and add wedding day details. They are very organized and made my special day run very smoothly.

t the premium package, because the DJ experience can make or break a wedding, we were also told that the mash up song my husband and his mother wanted to do would be included; needless to say when it came time, we paid someone else because we were now going to incur a charge with Wired Up. A month or so prior to our wedding, I inquired when we could do our final phone call as I wanted some input on our song selection, Joe said he would call a week before to schedule. We literally were scheduled three or four days before the big day, and my prep sheet wasn’t completed because as I said I wanted some feedback. In the rush of wedding to dos, we were running about ten minutes late for our phone call, we were told our time would be shortened because he had another appointment already, but when we called, we didn’t get an answer. Joe called us back, and we maybe had ten minutes. We rushed through the prep sheet, but I was as specific as one could get and confirmed the line up twice. The day before the wedding, we were entertaining a house full of bridal party members and family, getting ready to make the hour commute to the hotel near our venue, and Joe disclosed that none of the notes saved. I had to redo the entire prep form, while also guessing how he made his own notes of when to cue music. The day of the wedding came, and I would be lying if I said he didn’t get everyone on the dance floor, but the timeline of the evening changed so many times, everyone was confused! Joe told us on the phone and confirmed prior to the reception that the cake smashing would be the last event of the evening, instead it happened right after dinner. The mother son dance was supposed to get everyone on the dance floor, instead it happened before dinner. My mother daughter dance was totally forgotten until I reminded him right before the evening was over, most of the guest were already lined up for the shuttle outside. I spent most of the evening trying to confirm everything I had already taken care of, because of the technical dilemma that could have been prevented had my appointment been completed with extra time in between. The missing documentation could have been recreated and approved days prior to in lieu of the chaos of day before wedding plans. My guests enjoyed themselves, and I was eventually able to as well, but I would have liked everything to be more organized and planned in advanced. Ultimately I would pick Wired Up if we could do it over again, but I would demand an earlier final appointment and more time designated for me and my event (prior to) given the cost we put out.

ng with Joe, we stopped considering alternatives - he was the first vendor we booked. Joe and Torrin (AKA Toroc) were both professional, prompt to respond, and enthusiastic. Toroc even invited us out to a bar he was dj’ing a month or so ahead of our wedding so we could get a feel for his style. Joe and his guys are not weekend warriors with a Spotify subscription and a set of Best Buy speakers. They plan out your entire wedding and give you tools and templates to effortlessly customize your special day. Our Best Man came in with Michael Jackson wig with our Maid of Honor riding a blow-up Orca while DJ Toroc played the opening track of Free Willy and hyped up our guests. He also custom mixed Alan Jackson and Metallica for the Father Daughter Dance, and found an obscure song from 1970 for my mom and me to dance to. Toroc had people dancing ALL night which is a feat in itself; more importantly he made sure everything flowed smoothly. He was a true emcee, not just a random dude playing cheesy music in the background. He worked in-step with our day of coordinator, and probably saved us thousands of dollars by instructing hordes of (inebriated) people to take a surprise supply of roman candles outside of our rental tent. You will be able to find a cheaper DJ service. But if you want all of your bases covered, a professional crew, and peace of mind I highly recommend talking to Joe and letting him work his magic.

On our wedding day, so many of our guests asked us who we chose as a DJ because Joe and his team are not just DJs who stand behind a booth and mix tunes; they are natural entertainers who put on a show and it makes all the difference.
