and could not find a dress with sleeves that I liked, they were either too constricting or uncomfortable. I did end up finding a strapless dress I loved by Pronovias. Yris suggested adding a bolero, she said that we can try to find one that matches, if not that she could make one herself. I was floored that that was even an option. And that is exactly what she did. She bought the lace material with the same design as my dress from Pronovias and made a bolero with elbow length sleeves. It did require a few extra appointments because of the add on bolero however Yris was patient and listened to any concern I had about the dress. She once said to me "If a bride wants a dress, I get it for her". She owns the shop and does all the alterations herself with the help of 1 assistant. Her attention is solely on you, she remembers details that you had discussed the appointment before. It really feels as though she is there for you, and not just to sell a product. I would not have received the dress of my dreams without Yris. She also helped my sister, who is getting married next March. She fell in love with a few Rosa Clara dresses online that were impossible to find in the US, my sister had looked for months. They were only available as an in store sample in Europe. She would have had to purchase the dress unseen. Yris managed to get a few loaner dresses from overseas and my sister was able to try them on and find her perfect dress. Yris really is amazing and I would absolutely recommend her for anyone looking for a dress.

They were the only brand I had come across that had the price and quality that came close to what I liked. What was instantly different about meeting Yris is that she was the owner of the shop and helped you herself. She was also not pushy or salesly like other places I went to who would tell you that everything looked beautiful on you. She really gave an honest opinion which I really valued because I was shopping alone. Eventually we choose to redesign an existing Pronovias dress since she’s also a designer. I couldn’t have been happier with the result. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else! I know people travel from far and wide to work with her, and I can see why! So lucky her shop is in Rhode Island.

I had to schedule a fitting TWO days before my wedding. Yris was an absolute pleasure to work with; I can't speak highly enough of my overall experience. Having been to multiple bridal shops with friends for their weddings, I can honestly say you don't receive this kind of service everywhere.

elf made the adjustments. I brought to her studio a bunch of shoes and accessories and she helped me picked the right ones, pretty much like a stylist. I bought her also a flower for my hair that was amazing. My dress was the talk of the wedding, EVERYONE loved it. Please go to Yris, she is very professional and a great person, you won't regret working with her.

We spent our entire appointment laughing, telling stories, and trying on the most beautiful dresses in her well-lit, pristine, white salon. After 90 minutes, Yris felt like family. I loved her so much that I insisted that my bridesmaids get their dresses there too. We drove the hour to see Yris 7 times over the course of the wedding planning and loved every moment! To make things better, my maid of honor lost about 75 pounds since her initial purchase, and Yris transformed her dress at a very little cost. She takes her work very personally, and truly wanted my girls and me to love our dresses, and did whatever she could to make us feel beautiful! Bottom line....go to Yris. She is as close to a personal stylist as you can get. She will accommodate any wish, and make your dream dress come true. She will be family for the rest of my life, and when I look back at my wedding experience, I will think of Yris and the time we shared and smile. Give Yris a try, you will cancel all of your other appointments and fall in love with her dresses, and most of all, her.
