nd her works of umami art! First of all, do yourself a favor - book a tasting with Zoe immediately (as in yesterday). My (newly wedded) husband and I were speechless at our tasting; the only words we could say were “oh my god this is good” every time we sampled something. If you book a tasting now you’ll save yourself a ton of time searching for a caterer because it’ll be quickly apparent that you will not find anyone better. Anyways… so typically a bride does not want to be upstaged at her wedding, but let me tell you, the food was the star and I was NOT mad about it. I think almost every one of our 135 attendees came up to us to tell us that the food was amazing and hands down “the best food [they] have ever had at a wedding in [their] lives.” This was coming from people who are absolutely not chicken and rice people — but from people who live and eat in major cities all over the world with sophisticated palates and are VERY VERY critical about their food. I heard nothing but good things (trust me I would have heard about it if they had any criticism). Additionally, Zoe’s plating is divine, the service of her staff is impeccable and I don’t have a single point of need for development feedback. If we wanted a mix of flavors (like black sesame and green tea tarts for dessert), Zoe can accommodate that. A cajillion different allergies? Zoe can handle it. Have no idea what you want? Zoe will gently guide you towards particular choices that fit your menu and guest needs. I told you, this is a love letter, not a review. However, I think my absolute favorite part about Zoe is that she is humble, kind and treats her staff with the utmost respect. She is a lovely person who loves her craft and the craft loves her back. Zoe you’re wonderful and I wish you nothing but the best!!

tive about each step in the process. Our wedding was unique in that we did not have a formal sit down dinner and instead did passed food for the duration of the reception. Zoe was so on board with our idea and put together an eclectic and wide ranging menu that kept our guests fed while giving them extra time to dance the night away. Zoe also accommodated our other extra requests, for example making custom mini black and white cookies to give out as party favors for our guests. [People were obsessed with these!] She also worked with us to have outside Pies brought in to be sliced and distributed to guests instead of a traditional wedding cake. Most importantly though, Zoe was a warm and calming presence among our vendors throughout the very stressful process of planning a wedding. At no point were we ever stressed or worried about the food portion of our big day. Additionally, because Zoe works as a preferred vendor at Housing Works, she was able to be a great communicator with their team and seemed to always understand exactly what we wanted. All in all you should book Zoe for your Big Day. Not only will you and your guests get to enjoy amazing food, but you'll be in great hands with a genuinely wonderful person.

Zoe also helped us figure out options for dealing with glasses, silver-wear and serving platters. On the day of the event Zoe arrived promptly on time, and set up the buffet counter in a beautiful and creative way. Everyone LOVED her food. I highly recommend Zoe for those who have a passion for creative and delicious food, prepared and presented by a kind and beautiful person.

Zoe did not disappoint in the slightest – everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the charcuterie station to the main courses were delicious! Probably more importantly, we had the opportunity to craft the menu with Zoe directly, making tiny tweaks that made the night feel personal and special. No request or idea was out of bounds, even ridiculous ones like my wife’s last-minute requirement for specialty large ice cubes in the welcome cocktail and individual raspberries in each champagne flute were met with excitement and a can-do attitude. Even beyond the food, working with Zoe and her team from start to finish was an absolute pleasure and we could not have imagined a better experience. Zoe was as professional as they come and was well-versed in how to make everything run as smoothly as possible, which was all that more impressive given she had never worked at our venue prior to our event. Her team was on top of their game at all points, including each team member greeting us with a smile on their face and a willingness to help, setting up our specialty drinks and appetizers in our back room so we could taste everything, remembering the bridal party’s drink orders all night, and countless other little things that made us feel so special. The whole team was incredibly kind and fun and made our evening completely no-stress (coming from two Type-A clients). From beginning to end, working with Zoe Deleu Catering was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding, and we would highly encourage everyone to stop looking for a caterer and just book with her ASAP.

She took a lot of the stress out of planning, and we always knew if we had a question, she would have a quick response and proposed solution to any problem. When I told Zoe I wasn’t much of a cake person, she recommended an ice cream sundae bar, which was a fun alternative and a huge hit! ly when I attend a wedding as a guest a lot of the food is dry since the caterer needs to serve 200 people simultaneously. I don't know how Zoe and her team do it! The food is fresh as can be and this was my #1 when it comes to food. No one enjoys hard mashed potatoes :/ I caught up with my friends after my wedding and they were RAVING about the food. People couldn't get over the steak, the apps, her flatbreads, roasted potatoes, and extremely fresh veggies/salad. First time I went to a wedding where the food was spectacular ( and it was MY wedding!!). Thank you, Zoe!! I am so so pleased with how everything turned out!
