Traditional Wedding at Oakwood Country Club

Erica and Paul dated long distance for three years before Paul decided to pop the question. Despite his hectic and often unpredictable schedule as a medical resident, he surprised Erica with a trip to Niagara Falls for her birthday. It was there that he got down on one knee, the roaring falls in the background, and asked Erica to marry him. “I hadn’t been to Niagara Falls since I was in 2nd grade, so I actually had no idea how or where I was going to propose,” says Paul. “We had dinner reservations at 7PM that day and I specifically noted that it was to celebrate our engagement, so I knew I had to do it before then. It wasn’t until I reached the park and stood in the middle of it with Erica that I knew there was no better time or place to propose than right there. I was nervous, but excited to start our life together!”
