Aaron and Nicole first met in 8th grade in CCD class; but it wasn't until the summer of 2021 when they reconnected. The summer of 2021 both Aaron and Nicoles family's were out to eat at Roepkes. The only people to interact that night were Nicole and Aaron's Dads, Pete and Tom. Two weeks later Aaron messaged Nicole and the rest is history.

On June 9th, 2023 Aaron popped the question at Wolf Lake; the same placed where he asked Nicole to be his girlfriend. That night Aaron planned a surprise engagement party with their closest friends and family.
